Boots Opticians Arvostelua 

I had an appointment at Boots opticians in West bridgford Nottingham on 21st August2026.I was informed by the opticians that I had cataracts in my eyes so failed my eye test for driving and I had to stop driving till my eyes were treated.I told the optician that this was bad news for me as I rely on my car because my wife is disabled and she said I could maybe get my eyes sorted quickly as they tend to look at people who need to use there car.The following week I was trying to find out if my referral from the opticians had gone through but couldn't find anything out so on the 27th I phoned up the opticians to see if I could have the referral letter to pass on to my doctor and they said they will pass the message on.As I never heard anything I phoned again on the 28th.Both times I phoned I had to ring a few times because nobody answered the phone.On the 28th when I eventually got through on the phone again I was told they would pass the message on.Later in the afternoon i phoned up my doctors who told me I needed a eye test result for them to refer me.I took the eye test results to my doctors so I thought all is good but as it was a bank holiday that weekend I realised nothing would be done till the Tuesday 1st September.I got a phone call from my doctors who told me they keep ringing Boots but no one would answer the phone and asked me to try and get the form GOS 18.My friend was at my house and said he would take to Boots to get the form.When I got to Boots the receptionist didn't know what the form was and would ask the optician what it was and when she came back to me she made the excuse that she didn't know the form went up to 18.When the optician was ready to see me she said she had to write it out but had to put drops into another patient and would do it after.She had already took my details so I then had to wait for her to fill the form in and print it off.Ithen went back to my doctors who the receptionist had told me the doctors secretary was dealing with it and phoned her up as the secretary was upstairs and she would come down to get the form so I now expect to hear something from the referral.
If I hadn't tried to get the referral form I have no idea how long I would have to wait for my referral. Boots opticians knew that if I could get a quick referral it would help me but I was into my second week of waiting.A form that only took 5 minutes to fill in and they never tried to help me out.Thank you Boots what a waste of time.

When choosing new glasses, Sarah in Falkirk was most helpful and courteous. She was polite and efficient.

Kalpana has excellent taste and chose very beautiful frames.
Very patient, professional and smiling.

Routine eye test today, pre test by Jet, eye test by Saim and glasses help by Jenny. Fantastic service as always. Great help and advice on selecting my new frames. Thank you all.

Overall friendly service

It’s been three weeks ago when I placed my order for three pairs of glasses which happened to cost a lot of money and I have had not replied from boots and customer services are not interested and no one is answering the phone I think I should of went to spec savers staring to regret going to Boots opticians.

I've been a loyal customer of Boots Opticians for years but was so unimpressed with my call centre experience just now I felt compelled to provide feedback in the only way that I thought there was a chance the company would listen, I.e. by posting a public review. Unfortunately, quite opposite to the positive in-branch customer experience the call centre is poor, not because of the frontline staff but their management and the system and processes they have in place. I called to ask for my contact lens subscription to be paused for lots of good reasons that I explained only to have to go through the scripted attempts to change my mind and, then, at the final attempt to get them to action my simple request, their system couldn't handle the fact that it was processing a monthly payment and so I would have to call back next week!! It's taken a LONG time for Boots' systems to catch up with the rest of the world but, sadly, they still have a long way to go.

Lovely friendly staff. They were quick and efficient at mending a pair of specs that had broken. Thank you to Hannah and Brian at Lymington Branch.

I’m a customer with Boots Opticians but just popped in on the off chance today to get a minor issue with my glasses sorted. I was looked after incredibly promptly and to my satisfaction by Cameron in the Stirling branch. A great service, thank you!

One of my ordered glasses took 3 and a half weeks to be received in the store, I asked why it took so long your colleague could not tell me the reason.

Appointment was at 10.55am in the Castle Quarter,Norwich store I still hadn’t been seen some 20+ minutes later so I cancelled the appointment and walked out. This particular branch of Boots never keeps to appointment times and there doesn’t seem to be any management in place to take control of things.

From receptionist to the Optometrist, whole team was polite, welcoming and helpful. No undue sales pressure.

I didn't note names but Sunday 30th August a.m my unplanned visit was accommodated because of a cancellation. Complete eye health tests and honest advice was received with many thanks. I have been coming to Boots in Kidderminster for a number of years and I have complete trust in the staff there. Thank you again

I have been coming to the Barkingside branch for many years - when it used to be caled Dollond & Aitchison (D&A Opticians). Eye tests incredibly comprehensive and conducted with extreme professionalism and courtesy. Have had some issues with contact lenses - experimented with varifocals which didin't work but they did not charge. Am now trialling a mono vision prescription - still no charge. Sameera the optometrist is exceptionally thorough and spends as much time as it takes to make sure I am happy with everyhting recommended and understand all the options. Sarad is just so polite and helpful - nothng is too much trouble and he always phones back when he says he will. Makes me feel like a VIP (I'm not) whenever I walk into the branch. I can't recommend this practice or these induividuals highly enough

I had left my prescription glasses on a train, so needed a new pair, and an update of my prescription from the optician.
Saloni had a very friendly, but no intrusive manner, she described to me exactly what would happen during my visit, and took me through initial tests kindly explaining as she went.
The Optometrist, Sukhdeep Chumber, was very professional. He gave me an extremely thorough test,
explaining all as he went. Russell then gave me some final field of vision tests, and a fitting for varifocals. He was most helpful, and explained all that he was doing during our session. The service was excellent, and I could not in any way fault it. Many thanks to all involved, as I was quite upset over losing my original glasses.

Fantastic customer service from the team at Boots Opticians in Weybridge. Meera Patel conducted a thorough and professional eye test. Then Paula picks up the reigns to place the new order and to ensure the designer frames are fitting correctly, adjusting where necessary. Always a friendly and helpful service from Paula, Angie, and Simon, this is why I choose the dynamite team in Weybridge.
