Evo taxi, not recommended
Evo taxi, Not recommended, inconsistent pricing and poor customer service.
I’ve used Evo Taxis regularly for the same route over the past two weeks, always booked through their automated voice system. Every time, they charged the usual amount, until today.The same driver who took me last week suddenly demanded £10 extra for the exact same journey. No explanation, no transparency.
The automated booking system doesn’t disclose the fare upfront, so customers have no way of knowing they’ll be overcharged until the driver arrives.
To make things worse, the driver arrived at 8:26am for an 8:20am booking, a delay of 6 minutes, and still charged more than usual.
This is unfair, inconsistent, and not customer friendly. Evo needs to fix their booking system and stop surprising customers with random price changes. I do not recommend them.
