Blue Vanilla & Debenhams are doing business in a very sneaky and deliberately misleading manner, the deliberate misrepresentation of facts and product manipulation, I made a purchase of a Blue Vanilla dress for my wife who had seen the dress on the internet and liked it, so I purchased it via Debenhams which stated for returns there would be a £1.99 fees deducted from the returns, it mentioned nothing about being also charged for postage to return too via the concession they sold it for.

I purchased a dress in good faith after looking at what I can now only describe as deliberately misleading photo on the website which showed a model wearing it and there is no way that dress fit her in the way it does without being pinned behind, as my wife is a size 16 and this dress is like a ruddy tent on her and that photo has someone who is not likely a size 16 but if she is then the dress still must have been pinned behind her to look like that in the photo as it is quite literally big enough for 2 size 16 women to fit in it! There is so much material it looked utterly ridiculous!

I am furious that I am expected to pay £1.99 for returning it on top of a postage fees whilst nothing in the return policy stated there would be a postage charge on top.

Debenhams deliberately hid the extra return cost and the consession that sent it have not provided any cost information until I tried to return it! they are deliberately misleading customers! From the deliberately misleading photograph of this so called one size fits all product! If you the concession are in charge of returns as Blue Vanilla are in this case and are charging return postage costs then that should be clearly shown on the product advertisement charging postage to return it should be mentioned on the product info along with the mention of the £1.99 return fees, but this website deliberately implied the only cost to return was £1.99, NOT £1.99 plus postage!

It has been 1 month and still no refund. Only buy from Blue Vanilla if you are 100% sure that you will not need to return the item. This is unacceptable blue vanilla!

Debenhams take 21 days AFTER Blue Vanilla have processed the refund for them to process the refund.
Absolutely ridiculous. As a result I won’t be buying again. Like the items I’ve brought but Debenhams are a nightmare.
It’s not a delay. They even gave me the date of 21 days in email. Have to wait until the 21st. This would be a month since it was sent back.

It is so hard to find dresses that *don't* have unnecessary leg slits or gaping necklines - but Blue Vanilla is officially my go-to brand for dresses! I'm so thankful for their modest maxi dresses - with just enough sinching at the waist to be flattering. The dresses are well made and good quality, and at a very reasonable price point! A beautiful array of designs, too. Thank you Blue Vanilla for making dresses that fit me properly and that I feel confident in! (Plus my order literally came the next day even though I didn't pay for next day shipping!)

I cannot praise Blue Vanilla customer services enough. Mistakes are part of life and recently I had to contact CS with regarding an issue with my order. I received a response immediately, any issues were addressed and compensated for with no problems at all. This is so refreshing having experienced some other online companies customer services.

Never ordered before from this company. Ordered originally via NastyGal. Opened my parcel to find only 1 part of a 3 piece outfit (description stated it came as one order). Sent return on 21st Feb, as per instructions, delivered to company the next day via Royal Mail - but no email from Blue Vanilla to say they received the return or that it's being processed. Waited patiently for the 15 days of processing like they have asked. Still nothing - no email or payment. Looks like they completely abandon the customer when things go wrong.
Will never order again from them ever again and from the looks of things other customers won't either.
This company will not last long at this rate with its disappointing customer service!

Paid for a return which was sent back on 3/2, delivered 5/2. No refund as yet and 2nd email sent today. Ridiculous time to wait for a refund!

I ordered several items but needed to return 2. I followed all the instructions as per returns process given by Blue Vanilla. I was made to pay for this (I understand this is increasingly required) and evri successfully picked up my return parcel on the 17th January. It is now 14th February and 28 days after being picked up I still haven't received my refund. I've emailed them twice and been ignored both times.
I used to think Blue Vanilla were reputable, sadly I do not have that confidence any more.

I really love shopping at Blue Vanilla at the rock bury, the clothes are lovely just like the staff. I do have constructive criticism though…. I hope the store will take on board there are people who are petit and us shorties need trousers that are Suitable for 5ft 3 and under..I saw some lovely beige pants today which I would have purchased but they were literally about 8 inches too long. Also an extra small range would be great too. Hope you can sort it out……

I returned unwanted 3 tops and not received any email despite of sending so many emails to them. I don’t know when they are going to issue refund. So slow at least let me know.

I bought three items which unfortunately had to be returned. I have filled everything in on the website and paid, in advance, for an EVRI collection. I am still waiting for it to be collected (it should have been collected on the 9th January 2025). When I track my package, it simply says 'Pick-Up Request Manifested' on the 8th January and there has been no update since. I have emailed Blue Vanilla for an update but have had no response.

I've purchased about 10 dresses, 3 jumpers and a cardigan. I am a standard size 10-S/M and they have fitted perfectly. I usually only buy things in the sale, my favourite dress cost me £9. I haven't had to return anything so can't comment on that process.

I ordered 3 items from DPerkins and pay next day delivery, only one item so far has showed up and delivered by blue vanilla , I have had no email explaining late delivery I've had no contact from them I've emailed Debenhams 3 times now and no reply , had I know I would not have ordered

I ordered some items prior to Christmas but the package only arrived a week later. I had left the UK for my travels by then, and returned only to find out that I cannot return my items as they are outside the returns period.

This would not have happened if not for the delayed delivery. Customer service also was not helpful in helping me return my items.

J'ai passé commande auprès de Blue Vanille la 7 novembre. La taille n'étais pas bonne du tout alors j'ai souhaité retourner l'article, a mes frais, 25€ de frais d'envoie ... J'ai demandé un remboursement, envoyé plusieurs emails mais jamais rien ... Très déçu, surtout pour le prix des vêtements (j'avais pris une veste à 91€).
