Same! Feel so annoyed. Only went into website to use once and fell into being charged £39 monthly... Stay clear

Scam. They trick you into believing you are paying for 7 days then charge you a subscription fee.

Shame on anyone supporting this. Shame on PayPal for letting them use their services

These are emails I sent to PayPal
It will take me a year, or more, to repay the overdraft fees
and any other fees to my bank. I will probably lose my
bank account because of this. I am distraught. Heavy sigh.

Hello. In support of my complaint, case, there are hundreds of people having had similar issues with "the best pdf dot com".
Their reviews, and experiences, are expressed on www websites, including BBB.

I want to see the documents used to make final determination for this case.

I am 77 years old, in nursing home waiting to die, with $60 per month income.
From what I see on internet, the best pdf has connived, and cheated, quite a lot of people out of $40.
I do hereby request a copy of the documents we used in determining the final outcome of the investigation.

May I see the payment agreement? Why are there so many other people across internet complaining of same issue? I did not knowingly set up any payment agreement with them. I believed that I was having one document converted to pdf in exchange for $1. So does everyone else who were scammed.

What can we all do? Can we all join together?

Can anyone please help me? My bank is charging $40 fees plus $40 PDF.
I need $80 to save my bank account.

Do not use this company! After you opt for the trial and pay $.95 they charge you for a monthly subscription. They refuse to give a refund. Very deceptive business.

This is a scam. They steal $40 from you without disclosing it and then make it hard to cancel.

I also paid for 1 file and a week later got charged for a subscription of 39,95 euro without any notice! Fortunately I saw it and cancelled "the subscription" which they confirmed. I guess I won't get it back.

They withdrawal 39,95 euro WITHOUT my permission for once using their website.

Should have read the reviews. They are scoundrels. As described by others, they charge in an utterly underhanded way.

ROBBERS!!!! Took £40 out of my card for a subscription I never signed up for. No email about an active subscription or anything. Disgusting.

The product works well but I came here after succumbing to the 7 days subscription going automatically to the annual subscription without you wanting to. I also only needed the product once so didnt need the annual subscription. I immediately reported it to bestpdf. I had no expectation of a refund but to be fair they immediately gave a refund. I dont like the automatic subscription but I have to give them credit for the refund.

I can't give 0 stars. Total scam. Unfortunately my son was trying to access a service for his college work and got sucked in. All replies from the 'company' are AI generated BS. Cancelled the card and asked bank for a refund.

They are scam . I wanted to convert one document and I paid one USD for it. 7 days later, they stole 40 USD. I didn't accept this payment and I didn't receive any email regarding it. Definitely a scam.

Scam!!! They say 7 day access but secretly take £40 reoccurring payment. Report this business, stay away, block them via bank and use BBB if needed.

This is a blatant scam, terrible people.

I can't believe I bought from these guys before seeing the reviews, I fall for the trap and they also stole my money! I paid a £1 sound effect and they did the same to me, they got me into their membership without me noticing and stole almost £40 from my account! I tried to get Paypal to help me recover my money and they couldn't. These people are terribly abusive and shouldn't have a license for trading!!!!!

I paid for a one off pdf conversion and unbeknown to me Best PDF automatically signed me up to a £39.95 per month subscription. Nowhere during the process was a subscription mentioned or was there an opt in or out option.

Misleading subscription trap and unusable service

This company does not operate transparently.

I paid $2 AUD for a one-time PDF to Word conversion. The file I received was completely unreadable and unusable, meaning the service failed at the most basic level.

After this, without clear disclosure, invoice, confirmation email, or warning, Best PDF charged my card $60 AUD for a monthly subscription that I never knowingly agreed to. Because I was never properly notified, I missed the first charge — and the company then charged me again for a second month.

This appears to be a deliberate bait-and-switch model: attract users with a cheap one-time offer, provide poor results, then quietly enroll them into an expensive recurring subscription.

I consider this misleading and unethical business behavior. I strongly advise others to avoid this service and carefully monitor their payment methods if they use it.
