They are doing electrical safety checks, for great places housing association, I was given an appointment 12-5pm window, I waited in all day and they cancelled on me, what makes it more annoying is I rang up in the afternoon to make sure they were still coming and they said yes but I was last in the slot. I wasted my day

Appalling company, many similar experiences to others, customer service is non existent, constantly cancelling appointments and failing to acknowledge any communication unless its on their terms. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We had to pre pay for our steam inspection. No worries. We had to pay for a separate engineer to come and strip the boiler before BES arrived. They phoned us at 8.30 am on the day to cancel the appointment. The engineer had already stripped the boiler.

We were offered a date a month later. We would have to re-book the service engineer separately. At our cost again. I do not trust that this company will turn up in the future so I have been asking for my money back for 10 weeks.

Only one pathetic email from them saying they will be in touch. That was 3 weeks ago.

I honestly don't know how any company can operate like this.

Really not sure how this useless company are in business. Not turning up. Dis_interest from the lady on the phone. Pretending they have tried to get in touch for 2 years !! Yeah right. Then saying they are coming when we dont have an appointment. Recommend do not use.

they cancelled 3 appointments on the day!! on 2 occasions i called back to re arrange and was on position 1 for 2 hours 10 minutes!!! they leave the answer machine on and go home!!!! a horrible women says '' we will be with you shortly''!!!this is their shortly, you phone them and they use the f word !!!

Just incompetent, appointments wrong, cancelled without warning. Just simply incompetent

Left my consumer unit ' TAPED ' Together, This is now exposed. i have photos and photos of the sticker left on the front from BES .

Left their rubbish and shards of copper wire on the floor, Fitter a new plug socket that comes away from the wall when you pull a plug out.

i understand you work in some shi7 holes via MDC but this is my home and i take some pride in it.

Taping a consumer unit together is surely criminal??
my dog knocked it and the fronts came ajar exposing the live cable works behind.

Not sure who the workers was they made their way in without and visable forms of I.d!

Terrible company!!
We didn't renew our contract due in July 24
Regardless they attended our premises unbeknownst to anybody in the office and carried out a survey without a PO then threatened legal action if we did not pay even though we have emails chasing a new contract
In addition to the Invoice for the site visit dated 13/12/24 for £600.00 we also received an invoice dated 07/11/2024 for £219.38 stating we had added to plant schedule.
We had not had a contract with them for 6 month!!
They are now threatening extra cost and legal action if we do not pay these invoices for works that were not requested/authorised/discussed.
Please avoid at all costs

BES engineers are excellent on site but the office is disorganised. Long waits on the phone and agreed visits cancelled without notice.

Engineer Mohammad Shawkat did an excellent job preparing my electrical safety report. He was professional, thorough, and efficient throughout the process. I’m very satisfied with his work.

Booking department is a mess. As a medium size company, operating from eight premises, despite accurate locations of our equipment they are unable to actually book anything with us to arrange inspection of our equipment. The last time, it took them over 2 months of toing and froing via call, text and email to finally get someone out to inspect the equipment. Thankfully, the engineer(s) that attended were good people and nice to deal with. 6 months on, it has been a week and still not got our routine inspections booked. The booking department and procedure is a shambles and if it wasn't for our insurers forcing our hands to use this company, they wouldn't have been given a second chance. Previously, we had the cracked record about engineers are only allocated 2 hours per site, despite our constant reminders to them this isn't enough time and they need to allocate an engineer for the day to us, we just get ignored. Phone conversations with them get ignored and not followed up. E-mails don't actually get answered properly. Avoid like the plaque, there are plenty of inspection companies out there and we would recommend you use someone else.

I live alone & have cancer, also recently diagnosed with heart problem,(avoid stress & no lifting) After threats to enter my house I had rearrange medical appointments to suit them. I waited for five & a half hours & no one turned up. Second appointment I phoned & told them I was ill but they still arrived at my door asking to be in, I told them to rearrange & give a precise time.Today after rearranging another medical app, I got up at 6am to move furniture, beds etc & got a call at 8.45 saying their engineer had phoned in sick & could'nt make as he wasn't feeling very well & could I make another appointment for for next week. I phoned my housing association & they told me one of his children was unwell. I cannot keep lifting & moving my furniture or wait around all day for these people anymore I find this service disgusting & unacceptable, who do they think they are ?

What an amazing electrician … so friendly and funny .. brilliant service… 100% recommend .. guy called Kenny .. explained every step in what he was doing .. so polite…
