Suspiciously hard to contact
I needed to contact BePark about the intolerable noise coming from a ventilator very close to my apartment. The contact page offers a web form, an email address, a phone number, and a postal address. The email address turned out not to exist. I tried the phone number, but it became clear that that too was designed to make it very hard to contact anyone. There were no menu options relating to general matters, and it looks like the lines that do exist are rarely staffed. That makes me very sceptical that anyone will react to the message I sent via the web form.
The noise that I need to contact them about is apparently not new. My neighbour tells me that she complained to Bruxelles Environnement about it 5 years ago; that, as a result, the previous operator of the car park was ordered to turn off the fans; and that a letter was sent to BePark reminding them that that they had inherited the same obligations as their predecessor.
It looks like my only options are formal complaints and/or legal threats.
The fact that they seem deliberately to have made it so hard to contact them is a huge red flag. So be warned that if you have a problem of any sort with BePark, they will be unlikely to listen to you and you too will probably be forced to resort to some kind of arbitration or legal process.
If, by any chance, anyone from BePark does read this review, and they want to avoid all the hassle of having to deal with the formal notice I and my neighbours will be sending them shortly regarding the noise and demanding financial compensation for every day that we have to continue enduring it, the ventilator concerned is the one for the car park under the Place Brunfaut.
