Bean Box Arvostelua 

Bean Box is a scam company. They raised hundreds of thousands $ on StartEngine. While they are making a profit, investors heard nothing for almost 3 years. You can't sell useless shares as BeanBox is refusing to join the marketplace.

The coffee is usually good but the markup is obscene. $22.95 for 12 ounces of coffee that sells for $13 on Amazon, same roaster/blend/weight. I don’t want to support the Amazon Evil Empire but when the alternative is to be blatantly ripped off….pass.

Paid for express shipping and got it 4 days later vs 2 days. Spent $7.00 and some change on shipping for a free bag. The bag arrived and the coffee was from Georgia and only 11 oz. Not the 12 oz they promise. The coffee was fresh roasted on April 2nd 2026 but to be honest it tastes like old good coffee I could have bought from Whole foods. Nothing like roasters near me. Seems like a fake company projecting a big image and not really on top of things.

Placed an order on 3/5 for a "free bag" (that cost me $5, but whatever).

On (or about) 3/9, I skipped the next two shipments.

On 3/11, I was charged $23 for next month's shipment (even though I'd skipped them).

On 3/26, I was told by support that they charge you every month, regardless of whether or not you skip a shipment. I asked them to cancel my subscription and refund my money. They told me they can't refund my money.

So basically, I paid $23 for a bag of coffee that I never received.

I have tried to contact customer service. But it does not exist. Spent around $100 on my first order unable to redeem my $5 discount and I NEVER received my order. My account says “delivered”! Nope. But my money is gone. Scam!!!

I received a box as a Christmas gift, coffee from around the world. . I was really looking forward to it but was greatly disappointed. The coffee was not fresh. The flavor of all of the coffee was essentially the same, bland. There was no aroma to it. I did try to return it but I couldn’t, as I was not the purchaser. I threw the box away after trying several of the enclosed bags. Do yourself a favor and use another coffee curator.

I have ordered from this company in the past and they have been great. However, this holiday season they failed completely. I placed two Christmas gift orders on December 9th and three weeks later the orders still haven't shipped. Several emails to customer service - 1 reply on the 21st saying they would "check" on my order status and no replies since then.
I have run tech teams in an e-commerce company before - I know how difficult the holidays can be. But I don't see any commitment to customer service here - either in communications or in just telling me that you cannot fulfill an order for Christmas.
I cannot recommend this company at all - certainly not if you want to send a time-sensitive gift.

Their coffee is great. The quality, variety, packaging, shipping, everything excellent.
