I needed a local prescription for a medication that is highly controlled in Indonesia. Rather than bring it with me with documentation and risk any problem at immigration I used Balidoc to actually get a local prescription and get my medication once I arrive in country.
I had a thorough medical history review with Dr. Hershey.
Be prepared to provide a list of your medications and diagnoses prior to your online consultation, so allow a little time to do that and upload your prescription's. Have your information as to where you will be staying as well. It was an easy process.

Regarding pricing, BaliDoc is a healthcare platform that connects patients with licensed medical professionals and partner pharmacies. Our all-inclusive packages cover much more than the retail cost of medication, including medical consultations, prescription arrangements, medication sourcing, pharmacy coordination, delivery, documentation, and follow-up support. While your consultation was indeed brief in this particular case, the overall service involves considerably more work behind the scenes. This is why comparing our complete package price directly with retail pharmacy prices does not reflect the full scope of services provided.
Regarding the packaging, you requested a smaller quantity of medication than contained in the manufacturer's original box. Our partner pharmacy therefore dispensed the exact quantity requested separately. Following your feedback, we also arranged to send you the original box, although unfortunately we have not received confirmation from you whether it arrived.
Regarding the medical letter, we understand you are referring to the manufacturer's information leaflet normally included in the original medication box. This is separate from the official medical and prescription documentation, which was provided to you digitally. We appreciate that this distinction could have been communicated more clearly.
Most importantly, when you expressed your disappointment, our team made several attempts to reach out and find a satisfactory solution. Although the requested medication and quantity had been supplied, we genuinely wanted to go further to make things right. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we were unable to reach a resolution together.

Really impressed with the service from Bali Doc. The whole process was done online, which was incredibly convenient as I could do everything from my hotel. I had a free consultation with Dr. Mona, who was punctual, professional and very helpful.
The medication had to be reviewed and approved by a psychiatrist, and this was completed free of charge before any payment was taken. Nothing was charged until the medication had been approved.
From the initial consultation to receiving my medication at the hotel, the entire process took less than 4 hours! Everything was very straightforward and efficient, especially compared with the hassle of seeing a doctor back home in the UK.
I was genuinely impressed with the service and would definitely recommend Bali Doc to other tourists.

The doctor was brilliant, she was very quick to respond and I could get an appointment in 30 minutes. She listened to my concerns and advices both things I could do to support healing as well as a combination of medication to treat. I checked with a doctor in the UK who said they would have prescribed in the same way. I am travelling around Bali so they arranged the medication to the next villa I was due to arrive at at a convenient time for me. They communicated throughout and were very professional. If anyone is poorly in Bali, I would recommend their services. The cost is fairly reasonable too for the medication.

I was able to set up an online consultation in 20 minutes, which was really amazing. I had prescriptions from my home country and uploaded them to the system when asked. However, after the consultation there was some disappointment regarding the price and delivery options. Eventually, I am happy and really grateful how Bali Docs handled my case. The meds got delivered to me the same day without any surcharge, but maybe they should not say they deliver all over Bali or warn that location makes a price difference. Still, if I am in need again, I will use Bali Docs for sure.

I was staying in a remote village when Bali belly struck. I did not have any readily available transport and was in no shape to try to find a driver to take me to a public clinic in a nearby town.
I came across the BaliDoc service through a Google search, easily created an appointment for that same morning, and had a great video consultation with Dr.Karina on my phone.
Then, the BaliDoc team did a fantastic job messaging me through WhatsApp, went to work locating a nearby pharmacy that had all of the medications I needed in stock, kept me apprised of the delivery time, and had them delivered to my accommodations, all while I stayed in bed, stress-free and resting.
