Pathetic experience with Bakingo.
The cake turned out to be completely different from what was asked for. Everything was messed up even after providing clear requirements multiple times.
1) So many iron pins inside the cake
2) asked for rectangle shape cake and got square
3) the customisation was pathetic and completely different from the picture sent by bakingo during order
4) asked to deliver at 4pm but it was delivered at 12 pm.
5) the stars on the cake was so tiny vs what was shown
6) the border design is completely uneven and looks like it was prepared urgently with no patience
I have a lot more points to mention as the list goes on..
Never ever I will order the cake from bakingo.

Had the most horrible experience, ordered cup cakes for valentine's day it was delivered at 11pm in the night. Hopeless customer service with absolute no coordination between kitchen and delivery agent.

What's appalling is that the Ceo's keep sending marketing email however the ground reality was that they didn't have enough people to deliver or make the item. It's a shame that you market a product and ask more people to order when you don't have the required setup or resources.

Will never use the service as I was disappointed at the time when these apps acts as a medium of sharing love and care.

My husband not receive my gift which I sent to India thru Bakingo......communicated with them since 3pm.
now they stop chatting and no idea of my orders.

I would have rated 0 if possible. I am hoping the owner - Shrey Sehgal, Himanshu Chawla, and Suman Patra, will pay attention to all negative reviews. My order id is 3329932, placed to deliver cake and Roses to my wife in Kolkata India. The order was scheduled to be delivered between 9-11 am IST today on 14-Feb-2025. ITS NOW 4 pm and order status is showing “assigned to workshop”, not even prepared. Why do you take orders when you can not fulfill them. Are you running business of SCAMS. How do you compensate ruining your customer emotions and occasion. I am with your customer care over phone and she placed me on hold for past 28 mins? I am abroad and you think I have time to go through all these after paying you over price? I would not recommend your store to anyone, you guys are highly unreliable.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the delayed delivery of the cake I ordered (Order ID: 3237241) for a special birthday event scheduled on 1st January, 2025. The order was placed well in advance, and the delivery was crucial to the celebration's success.
Despite doing multiple follow ups, every time a new time has been provided by Bakingo delivery team and our entire event is spoiled because of the carelessness of Bakingo delivery team and customer service team which includes Sangeeta, Ritu, Ajay and one more customer executive who was rude and misbehaved on call.
The brand is no more trustable for us and their teams have no respect for their customers. Furthermore, they try to trap customer by giving 5-10% discount without understanding the emotional, reputation and importance of an event in customers life.

Unfortunately, the delay has caused significant inconvenience and impacted the event negatively. A timely delivery was essential, as the cake was meant to be a centrepiece of the birthday event.

Despite trusting Bakingo for its quality and punctuality, this experience has been disappointing. I expect an immediate resolution and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Please let me know how this situation will be rectified and if any action taken then need a report for the same before I took this to social media. I look forward to hearing back from you urgently.

I would never go for Bakingo

I had ordered for a cake on 20th.... The selected delivery time was between 9 to 11.

However I never received the order but as per the status updated by bakingo it shows delivered. Even have been trying to reach the help desk but no proper response. Order reference... 3527531

We are highly disappointed with the delivery. The cake did not match even 50% of what is in the website. The overall theme turned bad, even including the small shapes on the cake. We clearly provided in instructions that it is a theme birthday for our daughter and she was very upset at the party.
We specifically mentioned that we do not want the Happy Birthday message on top, but it is clearly ignored.
Even the greeting message was not sent by us. They created their own message and the message we sent was written in paper as in the attached picture. This is the worst experience ever, spoiling our special day.
We had similar experience last time as well, but we still ordered as mistakes can happen sometimes.
It's time for us to look for a new baking place.

Yesterday I purchase a cake from Kalkaji Bakingo outlet and they are serving a sour cake.if we are informing so they said come store then we will discuss about the cake.the don’t know the shelf life of cake.they said you complaint with in 24hrs but the cake shelf life is more then 2days as per the bakery standard.you should check your quality standard otherwise people having a issue with your cakes.
