Audika - Lytham St. Annes Arvostelua

Date and time is always clearly given and reminders sent to ensure it is still convenient to attend the nearest clinic session. I have been offered home visits if unable to get to the clinic because of the limited rural bus timetable.
The staff are very approachable , helpful and considerate and ensure the procedures are explained fully and that you are comfortable with what is happening. The hearing test procedures are done efficiently and Tom at the Garstang/ Lytham branch is especially thorough and communicates the steps through the tests clearly. I always receive excellent treatment

Excellent and professional service.

Good hearing aids, excellent qualified staff. See my previous detailed reviews.

Elaine Norris was absolutely wonderful. She patiently and in a simple jargon free language explained the test and results so well.

Are you like me ? Going progressively deaf over many years. Used several types of hearing-aids over time. Each one being somewhat better than the previous but after some time, once again, leaving you somewhat isolated from friends and family by not hearing properly once more.
This time I went to Hidden Hearing – the Lytham branch being my local shop. I learned there that technology is changing fast. The latest software programs, sound filtering and amplification abilities in hearing-aids are completely different to any of my previous ‘aids’. The Audiologist at Lytham was Mrs. E. Norris. I was at first somewhat doubtful about the description of the new technology being offered to me, but two weeks later when Mrs. Norris fitted me with a pair of the latest ‘aids’, I was truly very very surprised. I can say honestly that I now feel that I hear just as well as I did before the world of silence began to creep over me. The terms at Lytham are - it will cost you nothing to try the new hearing-aids out. There’s nothing to lose ! Except your hearing …..

I had a hearing test with Elaine Norris today and can highly recommend her and the clinic. She was caring, informative, friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to book a free hearing test with her.

Excellent, thorough and professional hearing test and friendly service today from Elaine. Also quick and professional wax removal in the same clinic two weeks ago. I can thoroughly recommend coming here for a free hearing test and to find out how important an annual check is, because changes in hearing can indicate other potential health issues. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment.

Tom was professional, polite and courteous throughoutthe consultation
He was most informative giving full explanations of everything before carrying out tests on my ears.
I was told when making the appointment that there would be no obligation to buy from Hidden Hearing and the hearing test would be free.
This proved to be so and I was not pressured in any way.
Tom showed me the readings from the tests and gave recommendations but still there was no pressure.

I'm only downgrading to a 4 because you were unable to achieve total clearance although you were able to point me towards the way forward.

Great service, friendly staff & perfect results

I am a regular customer at Hidden Hearing and always receive top class service from the Lytham branch. Elaine and her staff are outstanding and have looked after me for many years. Today I attended an appointment for my ears syringed and received the same top class professional treatment. Thank you to Lee Gascogne for a pain free visit my hearing is back to its best.

Very professional and informative hearing tests for me and my wife. We learned a lot about hearing issues.

Experiencing hearing problems. Build up of wax in both ears. Removed at Hidden Hearing in Lytham by Diane A first class service.

I've been with HiddenHearing, Lytham St Annes, for a number of years and have always had great friendly service. Receptionist Glynis greets you with a big friendly welcome and a cup of tea or coffee. Audiologist Elaine is very friendly and listens to everything you say. She is very knowledgeable and explains everything clearly during the test. She advises the best option for you and why.
I had a fall, recently, gashing my head badly...my hearing aides were contaminated with blood and hardly worked.
I phoned Glynis the following morning, 21st February,
and told her of my problem. She took all the details and said she would phone back as soon as she had spoken with Elaine. Good to her word within the hour she phoned back with some very good news. They had spoken to head office and due to the circumstances they would, as a gesture of good will, be supplying me with a new pair of aids completely free of charge. Now that is CUSTOMER SERVICE !
8th March..A great day, hearing aids have arrived and I can communicate again.
Thank you Hidden Hearing, thank you Elaine and thank you Glynis.

I have been a customer of Hidden Hearing in Lytham for many years and have always had wonderful service and advice, not only from Elaine but from reception too. During Covid batteries delivered to the door at home with no hastle whatsoever. My 6 monthly check today proved to me just what a professional operation Hidden Hearing have in Lytham. May I also add that my partner was with a competitor, however having seen and heard of my experience with HH ditched her aids and joined the Lytham HH service and quality team. Thank you

Excellent and professional appointment made easy to understand and recommend the right product tailored for your ears
Elaine was brilliant

Made an appointment at the Lytham branch a couple of weeks ago because of a blocked left ear. Appointment was sorted very easily for 2nd of March. Diane welcomed me in , no problem bearing in mind I was 10 minutes early.
Went through usual medical questions all very professional but friendly too .
She started with the micro suction in my right ear, all done very quickly and no problems.
However when she started on my left ear, there was a significant amount of wax buildup and hair caught around it which caused me a bit of discomfort.
Had to come back a week later after administering sodium bicarbonate drops to ear and massaging the ear canal.
The second visit cleared the problem and I now have my hearing restored.
Diane was absolutely lovely and I can’t sing her praises high enough.
Thank you very much Diane C

My wife and I were equipped with hearing aids at the same time, stepping up from those provided by the NHS. Elaine Norris provided a thorough testing for both of us. Then, several days later, a complete explanation regarding the use and maintenance of our new equipment. The few questions we had were answered fully to our satisfaction. Altogether - excellent!

The consultant was very nice and helpful. And much information was shared for you to understand your problem and then offer you a solution.

The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. My father commented on how thorough the hearing test Elaine conducted was, he had never experienced such an extensive test in all the years he had been wearing an hearing aid. The new hearing aids Elaine recommend have enhaunced his quality of life so much it is a joy to see. This was truly a first class service - many thanks.
