My property remained unsold for…
My property remained unsold for multiple months with auction house. Communication was very poor, and I didn't see enough effort or strategy to generate interest, even after greatly reducing the property with their recommendation, they still didn’t achieve a buyer. They refused to keep the property up with them so after over nearly two years of wasted time they would not help any further. Could have used the time wasted to get it sold with other more competent agents. Therefore, I can't recommend their service at all and feel hugely let down

Hi Denise, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sorry to hear that you found the process difficult, but we'd like to clarify a few points for transparency.
Your property was entered into our auction on four separate occasions and, unfortunately, failed to attract any bids.
We worked closely with you throughout and did secure an interested buyer. However, the sale was ultimately unable to proceed because it was not possible to reach an agreement regarding the contents remaining at the property, and the buyer subsequently decided to withdraw.
You later asked whether we could enter the property for a fifth time but were not willing to adjust the guide price. On that basis, and given the outcome of the previous four attempts, we took the difficult decision not to re-list the property.
We appreciate that this will have been a frustrating experience, and we're sorry the outcome wasn't what you'd hoped for.
Kind regards,
Auction House North West

Auction House - Callum Outstanding Serivce
I am very pleased with the service provided by Auction House throughout the purchase process.
I really appreciated the care, professionalism and support shown from start to finish. Callum S kept in touch throughout, made sure I was comfortable with each stage, and explained everything clearly along the way.
Overall, the service was transparent, professional and handled with genuine care. I would happily recommend Auction House to anyone considering selling or buying through auction.
@Auction House, please note that Callum is a real asset to your business, so please look after him. I would also like to mention Evie B, who was also very polite, helpful and supportive throughout the process.

Right from the start I was provided with an exemplary, prompt and professional service. Timely, friendly and accessible contacts ensured I was kept well informed at all stages. What initially felt like it might be a slightly daunting process, never having experienced it before, was reassuringly and capably progressed. Watching the auction live online was also a highlight. In my opinion, there has been an impressive skill set at work throughout the process.

After winning a house at auction 2 days…
After winning a house at auction 2 days ago, we were informed today at 4.30pm that the sellers are pulling out with no reason or explanation- and the lady that told us this is not answering her phone or emails. Preparing to fight this legally but this is the most unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed and will likely cost us thousands in legal fees. It is stated on your website that the buyer and seller cannot pull out once auction is complete and I am baffled that you allowed them to not go ahead with a legally binding agreement. Disgraceful.

Thank you for your feedback. Whilst we understand your frustration, it is important to clarify that under the auction terms and conditions accepted by all bidders, the buyer's deposit is due immediately upon exchange of contracts (fall of the gavel).
Despite being reminded of this requirement on multiple occasions, the deposit was not received on the day of the auction or in the days that followed.
Our team communicated with you by both email and telephone regarding the outstanding deposit. The seller initially agreed to allow additional time for the funds to be received; however, they ultimately chose to rescind the contract when payment was still not forthcoming and therefore your contractual obligations had not been met.
We appreciate that this was an upsetting situation, however, we do not agree with the suggestion that the matter was handled unprofessionally and can confirm that our team acted in accordance with the auction terms and the instructions received from the seller.
