As with all other 1 star reviews, yet another example of misleading advertising, branding and false representation.
My wife searched for Claude AI, selected a link describing Claude AI and ended up at this garbage site. Signed up, realised the URL and bank charge for these guys, won't refund - Bank charge bank requested.
If your service is good, there is zero need to constantly impersonate branding and visuals from other service providers, to get users. You certainly then don't need to refuse refunds when people fall for your scam.
Disgraceful.

Same-day refund request denied for annual subscription
I signed up for askgpt.app believing I was signing up for Claude Pro directly. Within a few hours, I realized the subscription was for askgpt.app instead and contacted support immediately to cancel and request a refund.
The charge was CA$119.99 for a full annual subscription: Premium Chat Year CAD. My refund request was submitted the same day, before any meaningful use of the service.
Their published refund policy says refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the relevant charge. My request was made within hours, yet support denied the refund and categorized it as an accidental purchase/change of mind.
For reference, this relates to Invoice 7E05EFD0-699760 and Receipt 2361-5033.
After I posted this review, AskGPT.app responded publicly asking for more information, but I had already provided my account details, invoice number, receipt number, charge amount, and same-day refund timeline by email. After multiple emails, the refund is still denied.
In my view, this is not a reasonable or professional way to handle a same-day refund request for an annual subscription, especially when there was no meaningful use of the service and confusion around what was being purchased.
I am now looking into other options to recover the charge, including consumer protection and a payment dispute through my card provider.
Customers should be aware: a same-day refund request for an annual subscription may still be denied, even when submitted within hours.

Refund for Europeans
I signed up for AskGPT thinking I was getting full access to Claude, including the Claude Design feature. I expected a native Claude experience, but quickly realised AskGPT is just a third-party aggregator offering basic chat access, with none of Claude's native features.
My first refund request was denied. I then sent a second email referencing EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU) and their own refund policy, which states refunds are available within 30 days of purchase. This time, they offered me a 2-year free subscription as an alternative, but also confirmed they would process a refund if I preferred. I chose the refund, and it was approved immediately.
I have to say their support team responds super fast and once the refund was approved, it was processed without any delay. So while the platform is misleading, at least the customer service is responsive.

It’s not some revolutionary platform. Just a useful way to access multiple AI models without making the whole process complicated. Sometimes that’s honestly enough. Not every app needs to reinvent everything if the main features already work well.

I signed up believing...
I signed up believing I was purchasing a subscription that would work across all of my devices. After signing up, I noticed multiple charges including £14.99, £29.99 and a further £14.99 renewal. I dispute some of these charges and have been trying to resolve the issue.
I have contacted customer services and requested evidence of my consent to the charges, cancellation of the subscription and a refund. My experience has been frustrating and I would encourage anyone considering a subscription to carefully review the terms, pricing and renewal arrangements before signing up.

Subscription Cancellation Was Easy, Refund Was Not
I subscribed to AskGPT.app expecting a better experience, but unfortunately my experience with their refund process was disappointing.
I requested a refund shortly after the charge and explained my situation clearly, but the request was denied using what felt like a generic template response referencing their refund policy. The policy appears to reject refunds for “accidental purchases,” trial conversions, or change of mind, even when customers contact support quickly without using single credit.
What frustrated me most was the lack of flexibility or goodwill in resolving the issue. Based on many other reviews online, I’m clearly not the only customer who experienced confusion around subscriptions, renewals, or refunds. I would strongly recommend reading the billing and cancellation terms very carefully before subscribing.
To be fair, the platform itself does function, but customer support and refund handling left a negative impression on me.
