I have been pleasantly surprised at the professional level of advice available from Ashridge Trees. The don’t try to push products down your throat like the major names. They rely more on building a good reputation. That will always attract good customers instead of push push push of product by second rate service companies.

I purchased 3 bare root trees from Ashridge last winter. They were all planted according to instructions from the nursery.
Unfortunately one of them didn’t survive & by Spring had failed to produce new leaves etc. I emailed Ashridge who initially gave some advice and in the meantime put a replacement on order.
The tree still failed to so after following up with Ashridge again they have confirmed a replacement will be sent as soon as possible. The other 2 trees are doing extremely well and look great.
I can only highly recommend Ashridge Nurseries. There was no quibble about replacing the tree - they gave great advice but when this didn’t work there was no problem in replacing it. Sharon & the team responded quickly to emails and gave great customer service.
I will definitely be using them again.

I spent a great deal of time choosing and ordering bare root roses. The banner headline on the site shows a lorry in bright green with Free Delivery emblazoned on the side. In tiny print above are the words, 'See how to get'. Even so, it seemed I would qualify due to the size of my order. Not so. Because I live in Scotland, there is a surcharge. I hasten to add I am in the Central Belt just off the M90, not in a remote area. Also, there appears to be no surcharge for anywhere in England, no matter how remote or awkward to get to. This seems unacceptable to me. Scotland is no further than many English or Welsh areas from Ashridge HQ and does not require a ferry or plane, unlike the Isle of Wight.

They have wonderful customer service. Their plants are ok. Not so good packaging/logistics compared to other nurseries.

I purchased three clematis plants in early 2021. A complaint was made concerning two plants and was dealt with extremely promptly and efficiently to my complete satisfaction.
I have ordered from them before and will have no hesitation in ordering from them again and in recommending them to anyone thinking of purchasing from this Nursery.

Excellent communication, fast delivery, well packaged. The plants i purchased are very healthy well potted and in decent moist compost.

Excellent customer service! When a lavender plant failed to thrive it was replaced as soon as possible, and my email was replied promptly and personally.

I've bought plants for 2 lots of hedging from Ashridge and have been very impressed with the success rate (100%). Ordering was simple and I was kept informed about the progress of my order. Bareroot saplings are lifted under specific conditions so there was a wait for the order to be delivered, but they arrived securely packaged and healthy. I purchased the recommended Rootgrow and I'm sure that contributed to successful planting. I thought a few plants had died, but after several months in the ground they have finally started producing new leaves. The Ashridge website is informative with planting tips and videos. I would recommend Ashridge for value for money and customer service.

Lovely plants delivered in good time and in great condition complete with useful care instructions. Good communication was also part of the service. It was an easy and enjoyable experience ordering from Ashridge Nurseries!

Any business can be good when things go right, but how they deal with problems is a true measure. When my order arrived with some slight transit damage, the staff dealt with the matter promptly, courteously and with no fuss. I have never experienced customer service like it and would recommend Ashridge to anyone. Excellent.

Ordered on line 5 Chandos Beauty - Hybrid Tea Roses. It was very simple to order on line, and very competitive on price, when I received in late January the quality of the roses where better than expected, faultless, now they have started to flower I am more impressed with the quality, and cannot praise Ashridge Nurseries enough, I will certainly use them again and without hesitation recommend them to anybody

Ashridge nurseries provide a customer service experience second to none.
I had an issue with a purchase three months later. True to their word they sent a replacement immediately , very responsive - offered me a total refund or a replacement , I chose the latter as generally the trees are of great quality .
Would not hesitate to recommend .

I ordered and received a shipment of 25 bare root beech hedging plants in March 2021 - by the end of May none of them appeared to have survived and I emailed Ashridge to let them know. I contacted them again at the end of May when it was quite obvious the plants were all dead and sent photos and details of planting, care etc. They agreed the plants were past help and have agreed to replace them in November 2021 with, at my request, hornbeam rather than beech - they have also waived the delivery charge.

An excellent outcome for both the client and the supplier.

Haven’t received my order yet, but customer ordering experience and communications is first class.

We ordered 200 bare rooted edible hedge plants and are really pleased with the quality of what we received. Customer service response time is quite slow but well worth the wait because it’ll be a professional responding to your query and not just someone sitting behind a desk.

I ordered several sweet pea varieties which arrived recently. I was pleased to received the plants which were very well packed and labelled. I was delighted with the size of the plants and the fact that they were grown so well in root trainers. I would definitely use this company again.

There was a hitch with my order I was expecting it to cause me problems with emails back and forth, I was pleasantly surprised, I contacted Ashridge with one email everything sorted immediately excellent service.

I ordered bare root raspberries in November which I received in December. The Autumn Bliss canes were small,dry with few roots. Now in May out of 33 canes 11 of 3 varieties only 5 showing a degree of life. I emailed the company and have been told to wait until July to see if any growth and to provide photographs. I am an experienced gardener .Obviously very dissatisfied with lack of customer service.

I have read reply from Ashridge nursery. They did not add that any replacements would not be available until November. I was not satisfied so asked for a refund. This they agreed to and I was refunded within two days.
