I purchased the sport plus seat based on the advertising and reviews. I also understood their 30 day money back guarantee with product return if not satisfied. I received the product on Tuesday March 3, 2026, put in on my bike and tried it on Wednesday March 4, 2026. After only 5 miles it was very uncomfortable and I had to put my old seat back on. I requested a refund, sent photos as requested, and got a message that they would give me a discount if I did not return the product. My purchase was in part based on the guarantee, so when I pressed them for a refund, they said I had to sent the product back to:

Obviously this is VERY deceptive if not fraudulent as they have a USA address and any reasonable buyer would expect returns would be sent to their US location. According to UPS Store it would cost at least $150.00 to send a $69.00 bike seat back to Sweden!!!
Looking back at their reviews, I did notice someone recently experienced the same issue. I wish I would have seen it BEFORE I ordered because, I definitely would not have done business with this company!
I just received a reply from ascent accepting no responsibility for their lack of transparency about the location of the return. No where on their website or return policy does it clearly state the location of returns being in Sweden and not where the product was shipped from in Wyoming. Buy at local bike store where the actually honor their return policies!!

Delivery and communication was terrible. They kept asking how my seat was when it hadn’t even arrived yet . I finally got the seat and so far has been a lot better than my previous one but will have to give it a few more rides to see.
I own a specialized Roubaix bike.
The seat I received will not go on the bike post as the seat attachment for the two seats are so different.
I do not have an answer but surely you will. i wish i would have known the configuration ahead of time.
I guess I will use the seat on my office chair so i won't feel like i wasted all of my money.
I will try to find a seat locally or find a carbon post to mount the seat on. Not sure how my fanny will handle that.

When I received my seat, the seat had a small cut on the under side. I contacted customer service and reported the damage. They immediately apologized and told me that they are sending me a new seat. I received the shipped email 2 days later. I was pleasantly surprised. Because of the customer service, I am giving Ascent a five star rating.
I am 77 inches tall. 72 years old and ride a big and heavy Specialized Roll bike about 20 miles per week. This is the best seat I have ever had. High quality and very comfortable
I purchased these gloves knowing I could try them for 30 days risk free. First it took more than two weeks for them to arrive. I wore them two times and temperatures above 40°. Neither time did they keep my hands warm. Since I knew I had a risk free guarantee, I decided that they just weren't going to work for me to keep my hands warm enough while biking. I contacted the company and asked how I returned them and was told they needed to be unused and in original packaging. I asked how that was a try 30 days for risk free. No answer on that other than they said they disagreed with me and what that meant. Since I had worn them two times they weren't returnable at all and I was offered five dollars and I could keep them. I did not want them they did not work and I pressed them to let me return them risk free. I finally gave up as they were not about to let these gloves be returned. I feel this is fraud and have reported them to my credit card company. So as I said don't believe in the "Try 30 days RISK FREE" advertising. It's not true.

This seems to be a good company with good follow up.
I now have two of the saddles and so far so good. Slightly heavier than my previous model, but the comfort is there, so I will be keeping mine.
Made the longest ride on my Lectric e-bike and only slight saddle discomfort. Couple more rides and I’ll be floating on a cloud!
Great saddle once it finally got here. Very well constructed. The memory foam has just the right amount of "give" to it for an extremely comfortable ride. The fit and finish of the saddle demonstrates that it was manufactured with care. I look forward to having this saddle on my bike for many years to come. It is a great value for the price.
I purchased the Ascent Saddle 2.0 Comfort+ after seeing the claim, “Say goodbye to uncomfortable butt pain.” For the first 50 miles, I was impressed. However, somewhere between miles 50 and 100, the discomfort returned like a bad penny.
To be completely honest, I can’t say with certainty that this is entirely the saddle’s fault. I was riding in a cheap pair of MTB shorts from Amazon, and that very well could have contributed to the issue. To test that theory, I ordered a premium pair of shorts. Since switching, I’ve noticed an improvement in overall ride comfort, which suggests the saddle wasn’t the only variable.
Ascent also advertises that the saddle is “Gentle on your back and lower spine,” offers “Maximum comfort on long bike rides,” and “Prevents tailbone pain.” In my experience, those claims have largely been true. It’s definitely an improvement over my stock seat. I recently completed a 138-mile ride, and while my backside was protesting loudly by the end, I can’t imagine how much worse it would have been on the original saddle.
Is this saddle everything to everyone? Probably not. But at its price point, it’s a noticeable upgrade and a worthwhile investment. I’m keeping it and will continue dialing it in with better shorts and small fit adjustments. Maybe one day I’ll find that “La-Z-Boy” feeling in a bicycle seat—but for now, this is a solid step in the right direction.
Deceptive return policy: Return policy does not mention that you have to ship the product to Sweden at your expense if you want a refund...as an alternative they will refund 15% and you can keep the saddle. The address on the website is in Wyoming. So much for, "Ride it for 30 days. If it doesn't earn its spot, send it back."

Great seat once it arrived. Took about 3 weeks from order. Customer service was excellent though. Highly recommend this saddle.
Received my Ascent sport saddle 1.5 weeks ago and now have over 80 miles on my stationary Wahoo Kickr Shift bike. Since there's no side-to-side rotation as you experience on a road bike, I’ve really struggled finding a smart bike saddle that I'm comfortable on after 45 to 60 minutes. The Ascent Sports Saddle is really comfortable for about an hour, but my Saturday 2.5 hr ride was quite painful. With snow still on the ground, I haven’t had the opportunity to use it on my road bike, but I assume that it will be a really comfortable saddle. I have two saddle posts. One for my shorter rides with an Ascent Sport Saddle and one that I’ll use for an Ascent Comfort Saddle, which I plan on purchasing this week. More to come when it’s warm enough and no snow on the roads to ride outside.
Btw, customer service was excellent in discussing saddles and with my purchase.

I've now ridden my mountain bike with the Ascent sport version saddle about half a dozen rides. All of these rides have been one hour plus in duration. It's is definitely one of the most comfortable saddles I've ridden. I also notice that in instances where I've been off the bike a couple of weeks. The saddle does not punish my rear for missing rides
The Ascent Sport+ Saddle is very comfortable.
I've tried many expensive bike saddles, and the Ascent Sport+ is the most comfortable of any I've owned over my many years of cycling.
1) Shipping: There was effectively no tracking after I submitted my order. The tracking number provided took me to a mystery page with no information except a link to an "alternate" tracking site (!). This opened the App Store, where I was invited to download a mysterious shipping app I'd never heard of, with a two-star rating. This was the same on my phone and in multiple browsers on my laptop, and it meant I had no idea if my gloves were coming the next day, the next week, or the next month.
Meanwhile I received multiple emails from Ascent asking how I was enjoying my "saddle." Mind you, I'd ordered gloves. I reached out to Ascent wondering if I'd been shipped the wrong product, and to their credit they wrote back immediately, apologizing for the odd emails and nonfunctional tracking system. As it turned out the gloves arrived quickly enough, but if they're selling merchandise on the internet they should have a tracking system that works. I should mention the gloves arrived in a plain plastic envelope with no documentation, labeling, shipping invoice, etc. Weird.
2) Product: The gloves are just not great. I wouldn't even call them "good." They fit okay (I used their sizing system and it was accurate) but the clunky construction and stiff material in the fingers makes them too inflexible for cycling, and thus uncomfortable.
This could sort of be forgiven if they performed their main task: Keeping my fingers warm, which they do not. I rode on a windy 36°F day and my fingers went numb, thawing out only after a few miles when my blood started flowing. I would have been warmer and more comfortable with a pair of good quality work gloves at half the price.
Why haven't I returned them? Because I found out it requires sending them back at my expense to Sweden. Maybe this was mentioned when I ordered, but not prominently.
Maybe their saddles are decent, I don't know, but I based on my experience I won't be buying anything else from Ascent.
EDIT: Hi Ascent, I see you've replied. Thanks. You want to make this right? Then refund my money without making me pay half the cost of the gloves to send them back to Sweden, and then wait weeks if not months.
Also, you say this is not the "standard of service you aim to provide," yet this is exactly what you provide — no tracking, no documentation or labeling, and spam emails asking about how I'm enjoying products I didn't order, while I haven't yet received the product I did order.
Idea: Rather than "aiming," just do it. Take down all your ads until you've managed to accomplish this very basic thing. You know, the thing every company I've ever ordered from manages to do.

No more crushed nuts and pounded butt.
The Ascent saddle is the fifth saddle I've tried on my current e-bike (Gazelle Ultimate C380). On the others, I've had to be careful how I perched my backside on the saddle and I still have problems with sliding off of the optimal position, resulting in smashed nuts and/or pounded butt.
This past Saturday, I did a 20-mile city ride and felt good at the end.
I would like more spring in the seat but it is, aside from that, my favorite saddle.
I bought the Ascent winter gloves for my husband. They are excellent quality and he absolutely loves them. They are perfect for biking in colder weather and he has worn them skiing on warmer days. Great product.
