Burwick Sideboard and 3 tier bookshelf.
I purchased a Burwick Sideboard and a Burwick 3 tier bookshelf, on the 17th May 2026. Both items were reasonably priced but the quality was most disappointing.
The sideboard was described as wood.Birlea assembly instructions said it was pine, it was in fact chipboard.
The assembly instructions were poor.
pre-drilled holes for screws should be countersunk to bury screw heads - they were not.Illustrations 4 and 6. Central screw holes were missing on the panels for the metal drawer runners.
Instructions 20 and 22. The predrilled holes were only 2mm deep, not enough for 14 and 15 mm long screws.
The assembly time was supposed to be 45 mins for 2 people - it took considerably longer.
The book shelves had similar assembly problems, and was rather shabby.
I contacted Arighi on 2.6.26, they were not at all helpful or professional. They assured me that chipboard was wood and said all was well.
I contacted the CEO, Sarah Bianchi on two occasions, she has not responded.
I expect better service from Arighi Bianchi, perhaps I should have gone to IKEA!

We purchased flooring for our living room/dining room from Arighi Bianchi.
From the start of the process through to the finish are expectations have been beyond exceeded. From Deana in the show room whose knowledge, expertise (and patience!) we’re massively appreciated. To gent who come out to measure and Ben who installed our new flooring.
Ben is a credit to Arighi Bianchi and we would like our thanks passing on to him please. He took the time to explain everything to us, offer us choices and has treated our home with care while he’s been here. He’s been great while my 3 year old son has been gabbing to him too which means a lot to us.

What has happened to this store
What has happened to this store? I shop there and have spent many thousands of pounds with them, because I like the service that they provide.
It has obviously changed; staff are leaving.
I have recently purchased a rug. When it was delivered, it was too small. I was told it could be changed for a bigger size. When I telephoned today, I was told that the manager said it could not be exchanged because it had been in their storage unit. I wanted to pay the extra £1,000, but I was refused. Can they really afford to lose a £1,000? I would have thought that customer satisfaction was important, so why upset a good customer? The shop is not the same, and I would think twice as to buy from them again.

In relation to your order, we have always tried to support you wherever possible, including holding your furniture, carpets and rugs in our warehouse for 5 years free of charge, until you were ready to take delivery, something we were very happy to do as a gesture of goodwill for a longstanding customer.
With regards to the rug, as this item was purchased in April 2021, it is no longer part of our current collection, we are unfortunately unable to accept it back for refund or exchange in the usual way. However, in recognition of your loyalty, we have offered a reduced upgraded price on the larger alternative so that we can help find a solution that works for you.
Customer satisfaction remains incredibly important to us, as it has throughout our 170-year history as a family-run business, and we are sorry that on this occasion you feel let down. A member of our team would be very happy to speak with you directly to see how we can move matters forward positively.

Single ottoman bed
We took delivery of the new bed the other day and the delivery guys assembled it for us really quickly. So pleased with the colour of base and headboard we chose in store. The new bed is a spare one for any visitors and looks great in the 2nd bedroom. Plenty of storage underneath for my handbags 👜

Dreadful service
As per the other gentleman’s review, we also ordered 2 couches on the 10th October 2025 with a written delivery date of January 2026. Had an enn m ail yo say the date had been pushed to early February. Rang in February as no communication from AB to be fobbed off by sales woman Sharon saying that they were now arriving at the end of March as they were stuck on a container somewhere. She blamed everyone except herself for the lack of communication stating illness and incompetent office staff. We still have had no further communication from her

Delivery Adherence Terrible - We ordered two couches on 25th October…
We ordered two couches on 25th October 2025 and were promised early January. Rang in January prior to our 5 week holiday and were told early March 2026 Came back on 5th March to be told delivery was now w/c 23rd March.
I don't care what container problems they've got, my advice would be don't buy anything that they don't have in stock or from a UK supplier.
No comms from them, they have to be chased.

The table is perfect, great colour & looks quite special.

I recently bought two kitchen stools from Arighi Bianchi and I am very pleased with them.
The quality of the furniture is excellent. The style modern, yet functionable.
From the first moment I logged onto the website, I found it easy to navigate and very appealing to the eye. My purchase was made online.
The communication was exceptional, with clear and concise information given.
I paid a delivery charge and the team honoured the day and time that they said they would deliver the two kitchen stools.
I can thoroughly recommend this company and have since enjoyed visiting the store, to have a look around and enjoyed the meal from the café.
All the staff on the day were very relaxed with the customers, yet, the help was there as and when clients needed it. There was no hard selling of the products.
So, in all, the experience of purchasing from this company is exceptional. Thank you so much.
