Absolutely fantastic, good old-fashioned, speak-to-a-person-quickly service - I spoke with Birmingham Appliance Repairs/Appliance Repair Centre late yesterday afternoon - the call-receiver, Becky, was SO helpful and understanding of my work hours, going the extra step of contacting a local Engineer who she felt could very likely accommodate - the Engineer, Muj, was with me by 7:30am this morning! He called me the evening before to say he could be with me at that time, and texted me when he was on his way.

It was for a Miele fridge-freezer and I’d been quoted by Miele £170 for call-out and first hour then any additional time after that would be extra, then said I could have a £279 fix, parts and labour but I’d have to agree/pay before the day.

Thank goodness I found Birmingham Appliance Repairs/Appliance Repair Centre who were personable and professional with no heavy up-selling like another company namely, Go-Assist who rang me and tried to do just that even tho’ I’d not booked with them but they’d seen I’d NEARLY booked with them and were straight on ‘phone to me. I’m sure they’re good but very sales-ey also.

Birmingham Appliance Repair/Appliance Repair Centre had quoted me £108 to include call-out, ALL LABOUR and VAT. Any parts would have been charged, obviously but as it was something simple (user error - too embarrassed to say what!), it was just £85 call-out.

Only down was floor covering was ripped in two places, getting the f/freezer out if it’s space so it’ll have to be replaced but I suppose that couldn’t be helped?

They are in my ‘phone now as my go-to for such appliances and have recommended them to my Cousin and will to anybody else who might require such a service.

Fantastic service called on Monday spin dryer not working. Parts ordered and repaired by 10am Tuesday the following day. Rob was helpful very knowledgeable and nothing too much trouble.

I used NAC for the first time to repair my washing machine. Rob was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He explained very clearly what the fault was on my machine and made it work. I will definitely recommend and use this company again.
