Not as good as I expected

The website didn’t state anything about delays in delivery so after a week or so from placing my order I’ve chased for an answer about my order. Only then I was informed that the product is expected with them in three weeks time and only then they will ship it to me. The experience could have been a lot better if it was stated prior to placing the order. As I’m still waiting for my order to arrive, I cannot review other aspects.

Went for a second helping.

Having been thoroughly satisfied with our recent blender purchase from this vendor, we felt happy and confident in ordering a vegetable shredder for our 8 year old Ankarsrum Assistent. The shredder arrived today, well packaged and easy to assemble. Have given it a test run and it works beautifully. Parts feel well made and “solid”. Was a little concerned about how the white plastic would deal with carrot, but a bit of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and the stains came right off - good stuff! Just need to save up for the mincer and pasta/noodle discs now, we’ll be back!

Still waiting for it to arrive. Emailed, no reply.
Update
Ankarsrum have issued a refund. I gave them one star because no one was replying to my emails and I was panicking my money was gone. A word to the wise, communication is so important.

Dear Jane,

I apologise for the delay to your order and the delay in contacting you.

As I explained in our phone conversation, and as you suspected, there has been major disruption at the Ankarsrum factory in Sweden due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are still waiting for a shipment that should arrive in the next few weeks.

Our staff have also not been able to come to work and so I've had to get to grips with all our various email accounts. I'm sorry that your message slipped through the net.

However, I understand your frustration with the delay in responding to you and I have refunded your order as requested.

As we agreed, I will notify you when the stock arrives should you wish to reconsider your purchase.

Top notch service in these difficult times

Extremely helpful service during what has been a difficult period for everyone (covid-19). Item was ordered from website, I got a call to say that although they hadn't had the full shipment from Sweden the item I ordered had arrived and would arrive on time. Prompt dispatch and delivery. Would use again, thank you.

This is the first accessory I have…

This is the first accessory I have bought for my Ankarsrum, fantastic value for money, really well designed citrus juicer, I'm very happy, got lots more juice than normal!

Very pleased with this machine

Very pleased with this machine.

Very strong, made pizza dough and several cakes with no issues. Easy to clean too.

It supposed to be a gift for my hubby however arrived in a box with Ankarsrum branding on and he opened the door when the courier arrived so no surprise foe Xmas.... otherwise very happy

Satisfied Customer

The product itself is great so far (haven't tried everything yet) and the service from the supplier excellent. Like others, I wish there were more user-friendly instructions with it.

There are now some excellent 'How To' videos on the main Ankarsrum website.

They have step-by-step guides to making things like pizza dough, baguettes, cinnamon buns and focaccia. There are also videos on cookies and cakes, as well as using the various accessories.
