I'm genuinely surprised at all the bad reviews on here. I bought a new TV and it wouldn't let me finish set-up til I'd signed up for a Prime trial at £8.99 a month. I was annoyed at first and had every intention of cancelling it the minute the trial period ended as Prime TV only really has v. dated programs or attempts to get more money out of you by charging extra for every other episode in a series which I refuse to do, but the next day delivery option on 1000s of items has been a lifesaver for me. Apart from one incident where a couple of bottles of cordial were smashed, everything I've ordered for next day delivery has been great. For all the reviewers who say the driver doesn't give them time to open the door - you can change the delivery options for the item(s) to ask they give you time to answer the door. I work from home upstairs so I request they give me time to get downstairs. If you track the package it helpfully gives you a 2-hour window of likely delivery time and I also leave my TV on with the blinds open if I'm still working so they know someone is home. Try it - it works for me!

Fast becoming useless. I’ve been with Prime for years, but when something goes wrong the service can be absolutely shocking.
Ordered medication with “Prime delivery tomorrow” promised. By day 2 it still hadn’t arrived, with the update simply saying: “Delayed – not yet shipped.”
The problem? I’m flying tonight and away for 4 weeks.
To make matters worse, Amazon won’t even let me cancel the order. Customer services just say they’ve “contacted the supplier” and I’ll hear something within 24 hours — completely pointless given the circumstances.
I’ve now had to buy the medication elsewhere and will probably end up unable to return the original order if it eventually turns up. Really poor service for something marketed as guaranteed Prime delivery.

Amazon prime is not as it seems. you think you pay monthly for free next day delivery.

Thanks to prime van driver KW24 ZPP who parked on pavement blocking disabled people & other shoppers outside UK fried chicken on Shirley Road in acocks green, Birmingham.

Deliveries ok for the most part, though would be better if the drivers ever knocked or read added instructions. Prime video though...I don't know what they're smoking but if they think 6 30+ second ads in a 40 minute show pushes people to the 'ad-free' upcharge then they're sorely mistaken, it'll push me to the cancel prime button. Maybe if they hadn't pi$$ed away 2 billion on Rings of mediocrity then they could have given all prime users worldwide ad-free for several years.

They should give more free trials as people tend to buy more. £5 free delivery goes along way.

For such a massive company you are actually pathetic, downloading movies to watch OFFLINE doesn't work offline, take a note out of every other streaming service! If I've downloaded something onto a device WHY WOULD I NEED A CONNECTION TO PLAY IT OFFLINE, its 2026 and you are being bested by a damn DVD player!

Used to be good, for a few years we always ordered and got the item the following day without but the last few months has been dreadful. it's very rare a delivery goes well now... last 5 deliveries only one went well.

First one the delivery driver opened the package and stole some fabric softener them hid the opening he's made from the ring door bell but we had another camera showing it.

2 didn't come, both were "due to be delivered today" then suddenly went to being delivered 4 days from now?

One went correct so no issue.

and today I've ordered some things and the delivery went from 14:15 to 16:15 then moved forward to 13:00 to 15:00 and it;s 15:30 now and like the last two it's "still due to be delivered today" and it of course wont come like the last 3. Pay £8.99 to get delivery in 4 days then is it? May aswell get free delivery from Ebay.

Service down the toilet, prime cancelled.

You watch a film and enjoy it. Next time you search to watch it again it's lock so you have to pay to watch it again. WHY. You pay for prime, it's not a new film, stop charging extra.

So I’ve had Amazon prime for quite a few years but today I am cancelling it . It has gone so far down hill I am not even getting the service I pay for. I order items on prime for next day delivery but once they take payment the delivery date changes to 2-3 days ! I contacted them through online chat last night and they assured me my delivery would be here for 10am today ! Guess what it wasn’t . It now says delivery tomorrow so not only do they not provide the service they are selling but they openly lie to you in person via their online chat service . I think this is a trading standards issue for selling a service they do not supply .

I have had three parcels left on my doorstep this week by Amazon Prime. The driver didn't even knock my door and the parcels were left out all night! I wonder if that same driver would like his bank details left on his door step, or perhaps his pizza delivery? This sort of delivery is not acceptable, Amazon are now talking about using drones to deliver parcels. Can you imagine your goods being dropped from height into your garden ? There it is piddling down with rain and customers are in their jim jams and slippers searching through the grass for their packages. I try and avoid Amazon at all cost.

On a number of occasions my parcel has not arrived next day as stated on website site. my orders say arriving tomorrow but take an extra day as a prime member I order simply because I expect it the next day that's what I pay £8.99 a month for

Watching a film, adverts play. I want to pause it immediately after the ad break, it doesn't. Instead it plays another round of adverts. I click back and it loses my place in the film. I fast forward to where I was, another round of adverts. Im going to cancel my subscription now. What a joke!

Greed again, billion pound company and they have to now put ad's on everything even though we pay them for a sh*t TV service that you have to pay for anyway!!
Greed should be punished!

The adverts have made watching the films pointless. Such a sell out for money

And another "free returns" company getting picky about returns and quoting "fair use policy". 35 orders this quarter and only returned 5 or 6 but now getting this message....
"We’ve detected abnormal purchasing and return activity on your account that may not comply with our Fair Use Policy. While this does not affect your rights, non-compliance with the policy could result in us taking appropriate action, including refusing your orders and access to our services in the future".
If Amazon ate about to refuse my orders, time to cancel Prime mbership!
I tried asking Amazon why i was getting this warning but no Customer Service seems to know. Also asked for all my data as part of Data Protection Act but they still have not provided.
BEWARE, the writing is on the wall!

An annoying AI assistant called Rufus keeps popping up and I cannot turn it off. Useless unwanted clutter.

Yet another Amazon prime delivery by Amazon driver knocking on door throwing package on public footpath near the house only to see the driver 5 doors away who couldn’t be bothered to wait for me to open the door. No wonder so many parcels get stolen

I have repeatedly tried to block trash content for my kids. Yet Amazon only lets you hide it, which means the programs are still there and despite thumbs down and hiding, many of these programmes just appear when on autoplay. Amazon please sort out protection for children and please get rids of half the absolutely appalling content.
