No outer packaging
For the past 3 months, every week or so, I get products that have no outer packaging. I even complained to the economic department, however the problem still exists. Most of the time, the items are broken inside or even empty.
Return and refund process are hectic as they repeat this. I believe the delivery guys opens the package and steals the product, but amazon do not seem to bother.
Undelivered Order / Closed Account
Payment Order #404-7933374-0033942 on March 1, 2025. So far, only 9 items have been delivered, two of which are damaged. The delivery order numbers are 171-4564536-5052356 and 171-4299815-9393115. There are still 7 other items from the order that have not been delivered yet.
I contacted Amazon AE Customer Service, but none of them were able to help. The 2 damaged items were supposed to be replaced or refunded, but no action was taken. I also followed up on the delivery of the remaining 7 items, but again, nothing was done.
All items were originally scheduled for delivery on March 3, 4, and 5, but as of March 6, the status still showed "Out for Delivery, but there's a delay." Despite this, no action was taken.
On March 7, early in the morning, I was greeted with a message stating that my account had been put on hold. They asked me to submit proof of billing, which I did — I paid via Tabby, so I provided the receipt. One hour later, they closed my account.
Since they chose to close my account instead of canceling the order and issuing a refund, I decided to file a complaint with Dubai DET Consumer Rights (Case CMP-25-462663).
At this point, either they need to deliver the remaining items and replace the damaged goods OR refund my money in full.
I ordered earbuds
I ordered earbuds. It's showing out for delivery from morning to night. After that it's showing tomorrow or day after tomorrow. I contacted customer care they were don't know the delivery approx timing either not confirm particular day also. Amazon delivery worst in Dubai compared to India.

Hello, How hard is it to contact Amazon in Dubai!! I just want to inquire about the reason for the delay in the arrival of one product from the order and I did not find any contact office/person to receive a response!! I do not know if they received my message? Are they working on it? Will they send it? When? The phone numbers are not working either, I sent this email on 2/21/25; [{ I have a problem with Amazon delivery most of the time, boxes get damaged many times, and on my last order which was 2-3 days ago, a Mai Dubai bottled water box was sent to the wrong address! The guy there called me and brought it to my location !! He was so nice, it wasn't his problem and it's not his job to fix the mistake and bring it to my location!! On Wednesday, I had the same problem!!! Before 4:00pm I received some items in an opened Amazon box!!
And It has a bag of small potato chip bags that were broken and mashed due to the weight of 3 bottles of Clorox cleaning liquid that were on top of the food items, I added pictures from last and previous orders!! Terrible Service, Do not order!
Placed an order on Saturday, paid 16 AED extra for the one day delivery. Monday the driver phoned me asking which building I was, he could not speak any English and we could not communicate, I received a message from AZ at the end of the day stating that my parcel was returned as I was not reachable. Phoned customer service the Monday morning, they assured me 20 times it would be delivered the day and was on hold at their logistics. Phoned again Monday afternoon, they assured it would be delivered before 9pm Monday evening and could see my query was logged. Phone an additional 4 times on Tuesday, all stating my parcel will be dispatched urgently and with priority. Spoke to a Nesreen, Esraa and a Mohammed at their logistics departments who all assured me the parcel was out and will be delivered. Still have not received anything and there is no where on the Amazon page to escalate this issues. Worst service I have experience from ANY company, and Amazon of all companies. Deeply dissapointed and will never shop from Amazon, or urge anyone to shop at Amazon again.

Whats happening to amazon customer service??Service and delivery are messed up,in 2 consecutive times. Orders are delayed for couple of days, agents doesnt know whats was going on,asking the same questions, offering a solution(promising a guarantee solution) and find out your order still nowhere to find.never had this issue,just last December 2024 and this January 2025 .
You guys need to solve the costumer service issues.

After 5 days still no resolved!!
So this is what's happening with amazon customer service agents. First call agent never answers, I hang up and try again. Got through an agent, transfers me to another investigation agent. Ms. Manna, she has no customer service skills at all. I was delivered a wrong item 5 days ago. She asks me to send her a picture after 5 days have been passed. I had spoken to them 5 days ago same day I got the wrong item. When I mentioned to her she says "no" we are investigating!! Amazon send me a wrong item, asking me for a picture after 5 days. And moreover for their wrong mess and delay they are giving me a hard time!! Worst experience and moreover thus item was important for me to have delivered that same day and yet after 5 days they ask me for a picture??? Amazon wake up!! Hire right people!!

I had an extremely disappointing experience purchasing appliances from Amazon.ae, and I feel it’s important to share this with others. As a loyal customer, I expected high-quality products and reliable service, but what I received fell far short of my expectations.
First, the appliances I purchased arrived in questionable condition. While the listings claimed they were “new,” the items clearly appeared used or refurbished. Scratches, dents, and missing protective covers were evident on multiple products, suggesting that they were either returned by other customers or improperly stored before shipping. This was completely unacceptable for items marketed as brand-new.
To make matters worse, none of these products came with a warranty. After contacting customer service, I was informed that Amazon.ae doesn’t offer warranties for many of the items sold by third-party vendors on their platform. Even when sold directly by Amazon, the warranty terms were vague or nonexistent. Without a warranty, I’m left with appliances that could stop working at any moment, and I would have no recourse to repair or replace them.
Additionally, it seems Amazon.ae includes open-box or second-hand products under its listings without clearly indicating this. This deceptive practice means customers can unknowingly purchase used or refurbished items while expecting something brand-new. The lack of transparency is unacceptable for a platform of this scale.
Lastly, the customer service experience was a nightmare. When I reached out for assistance, I was passed from one representative to another, and no one provided a satisfactory resolution. Refunds were delayed, and they didn’t address my concerns about product quality and warranty.
I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing appliances from Amazon.ae to think twice. Check every listing carefully, avoid third-party sellers when possible, and be prepared to fight for a refund or replacement if things go wrong. For expensive items like appliances, it’s better to shop with retailers that offer clear warranty policies and a reliable after-sales service.
This experience has completely shattered my trust in Amazon.ae. I won’t be making any future appliance purchases from their platform, and I recommend others do the same until they improve their policies and product quality assurance. One star is generous for the hassle and disappointment I endured.

I always buy from amazon because of warranty. Its better buying from local store where you need to come multiple times to return, request for replacement and collecting item. Saves a lot of time for a busy parent like me. They even have better prices

Arrogant courrier and corrupt. They take another charges for delivery even it already have charges included from the check out items. And worst is the courrier is never return the money balance from i pay, he said he going to change the money and then never comeback and not answering for the phone call. Very dissapointing

Disgusting customer service. I ordered a pair of shoes on 10th of Nov and everytime my order got out for delivery but the end of the day it got on hold automatically. After talking to the customer care several times all of them came up with the same process. Do this do that stay on hold this and that And none of them took this matter seriously. Its not about the money its about the service. And my experience for Amazon customer care was so pathetic. I cannot believe this.

I bought a lenovo laptop from Amazon as a gift for my wife on her birthday. On her birthday, when she opened the gift, I found out that the laptop was not what I ordered. I requested to return the item, and the refund policy for the wrong item takes 14 days! whereby the issue is really obvious, the two laptops has completely different models! How come a company with the size of Amazon do not track such matters!! And why do i need to wait for 14 days minimum to refund the payment. If I didn't pay attention I probably kept the laptop and they just get away with it. This is unacceptable and robbing customers with confidence!
