Alpine Surveys Arvostelua 

I have used a couple of structural engineers in the past however this is the first time I have used Alpine and Abbas the engineer that turned up was absolutely fantastic. Not only did he identify the problems but also suggested excellent solutions. Would highly recommend Abbas and would be more than happy to use him again when required.

Alpine was really professional throughout the whole process for the Level 3 survey and later for the structural survey that I requested. I want to particularly thank Abbas for his expertise and dedication.

We had a structural survey done by Alpine Surveys as we are facing some major issues with the house. Abbas carried out the survey and he was very thorough, extremely helpful, informative, and answered questions we had in a very clear and concise way.

Great experience throughout with Alpine. We had a structural survey conducted by Abbas and getting it booked in was easy and they charged a very competitive and reasonable fee. Abbas was very helpful and put me at ease with his vast knowledge and talked me through any defects with the property, all of which he considered minor. The report arrived back quickly within the specified timeframe and looks great. I am very happy with the service I received from Alpine and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a survey.

The engineer who visited today to make a structural calculation & design report for our proposed refurbishment was extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough as well as being polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend him.

Very pleased with the service. Visit booked for 7 days ahead. Competitive price for a level 3 survey. Great communication. Report returned 3 days after the visit. Very thorough, checking little but important details we missed during our visit. They were also kind enough to look into specific questions we asked, about possible extensions, minor works, and insulation potential.

I would like to thank alpine for the their support in conducting the detailed damp survey I requested from them. The whole process was brilliant, with clear and efficient communication from start to finish, with great after care when I had questions regarding the report!

Awful experience, cancelled last minute and could only offer another booking almost a month later, now have to go through all the fuss of finding another company during this already stressful time, do not recommend.

What a breath of fresh air.
Bit of a minefield to find a surveyor when your are in a new area and been had over or need some professional advice.
Good old fashioned service starting from the girls on reception.
Fast, professional service and the knowledge of the RICS backing.
42 years in the construction industry and very pleased to be appointed Ervin.
He had experience of hands on project management and it showed in his survey and findings.
I would not hesitate to recommend Alpine, nor use them again myself.

Administrative errors resulted in the surveyor going to the wrong address. In spite of the mistake I was still charged 360 pounds and threatened with legal action when challenged. Avoid if you want anything approaching a pleasant experience.

I am generally not the one to write feedback, but on this occasion I really felt the need as the professionalism and commitment demonstrated by Mr Mark Dobson was exemplary. His subject matter expertise and command of his areas is superb and he was more than willing to share this and provide professional solution for a long standing damp problem. After thorough analysis they diagnosed the root cause and problem was fixed ( so far so good), we were mislead by so many leak Detection companies and spent 000's, but here in 00's in 4 hours the root caused was detected. I recommend them highly and will use them again ( I hope no other problem).

I am unable to share my review, and have been forced to remove it twice by the Director of the company. Overall:

- Surveyor sent gave a biased report omitting important facts and details and including unsubstantiated assumptions

- Director called out in person to make it right, so customer service is obviously important to him. I had accepted his explanations and decided to drop any discrepancies observed despite the cost of the report and the fact that I was not 100% happy with it.

- I was called soon after he left with advice that payment was due from the customer rep who booked the survey. I advised that I would pay it later. She called again the next morning while I was on a walk taking a sick day due to ill health. We got disconnected and she proceeded to call me 6 more times.
When I answered them on Saturday, still unwell, they accused me of not paying when I said because it was not on the Thursday when we last spoke and shouted at me regarding payment being now overdue, two days after the last visit. I tried to explain to them that I was unwell due stress and would deal with this on the next working day. They continued to shout and would not listen, so I disconnected the call. They followed by sending me a final demand for payment on a Saturday.

- When I complained about this by email, their responses showed a lack of consideration, empathy or trust

- insulted, exhausted and harrased. I paid them and left a bad review, which they demanded twice that I remove on the threat of law suit for defamatory content regarding their business.

- this defeats the purpose of the review system if customers cannot share both negative and positive experiences with a business.

- if they are so concerned about the negative review they should make every effort to make it right, instead of leaving an argument with untrue allegations, in return

excellent customer service, prompt visit by the surveyor and honest and detailed report. Really appreciate the help in sorting out the problem damp in my house, where two other companies had not been able to do so.

I elected to go the independent surveyor route and was very pleased I did; the results and source of damp were a surprise. There was no problem with damp proof courses so a survey tied to a damp proof system contractor may well not have given the same outcome. Alpine Surveys were very informative and polite over the phone (Sarah). The appointment was well kept and the survey was conducted efficiently. Although I felt I was getting in the way if I asked how things were going during the survey, at the end Mark, the Surveyor, took time to explain what he had found and took me around, showing me the live thermal imaging so I could see where the problems originated. The report is professional and I used the recommendations to discuss with my contractors for the necessary repairs.

Flexible with times, thorough report provided with advice. Would use again.

A very professional outfit to deal with, and excellent value for money. Mark was able to identify, with evidence, the sources of our issues, as well as highlighting the stupidity of previous chemical DPC treatments. We’re now working through the recommendations in the report to, we believe, finally resolve matters. We are also pursuing the chemical DPC cowboys for costs. We really appreciate the help and support of Alpine!👍
