I bought a beautiful dress, great price. I received it at the 14 day mark that is their return window- I immediately noticed the dress was way too large on me and there was no size to confirm that I received the size I ordered, and no paperwork in the shipment confirming either. I emailed customer service right away explaining the dress was too large and I wanted to return it and it was nothing but 3 weeks of back and forth, stringing me along telling me I was past my return window, offering me 30% refund credit and a % off a new order, then another customer service person offered me 20% refund - I demanded a full refund since the size was not marked and I had no confirmation that I even received the correct size. They kept giving me the runaround for 3 weeks. Finally I settled on the 30% refund credit and they only credited me 20% to my credit card after all of that! I went back to my credit card to recoup the rest of what I lost hopefully to recoup these shady business antics. Do not buy from this company, save your $ and do your homework before purchasing! They are not worth the headache! And buyer beware, this company is not in the US!

I ordered Alizua’s black One-Shoulder Pleated Chiffon Maxi Dress based on the photographs shown on its website. The dress I received is materially different from the advertised design.

The advertised dress has a dramatic asymmetrical skirt, cascading chiffon panels, a front slit, and sculpted draping gathered at the hip. The dress delivered to me has a plain A-line skirt without the advertised cascading panels, slit, or hip construction. The neckline and sleeve finishing are also different. This is not a minor variation caused by lighting, sizing, or professional photography.

I contacted Alizua promptly, provided photographs, and requested a replacement or permission to return the incorrect dress for a refund. Alizua refused to provide either resolution.

At the time of my complaint, Alizua’s published return policy stated that damaged, defective, or misshipped items qualify for a full refund, including shipping fees, when photographs are provided. That policy was not honored in my case.

I have retained the order confirmation, product-page photographs, photographs of the dress received, and the correspondence refusing my requested resolution. Based on my documented experience, I would not purchase from this company.

Worst experience ever. I followed the chart and ordered my size. Dress was not satin, different material and didn’t fit. Requested a refund and instructions to return the dress. For a whole week they kept offering me different offers to kept the dress and give me a small discount. I was disappointed because they don’t want the return dress back, they tell you you are going to pay international shipping and customs and this other fees and that they will deduct your refund. So basically, keep the dress and if you do return it and they don’t get in 14 days. They will not refund your money. Their website says easy 14 days return, it does not say anything about international shipping. The package says California address but tracking states china. This company is a scam

They have deceptive return policies. I bought a dress for $100. It didn't fit. When I contacted them to return it they told me it was an international return and would cost $120. So I'm stuck with a dress that doesn't fit and I'm out $100.

This company is in CHINA, not New York as I thought. 100% satisfaction guarantee on their site, but the dress I ordered was ill-fitting, putrid in color and the fabric was weird. They said it was because their photos are professionally done! I went to return it & got the run around for weeks with only a store credit offered. Sending it back to China via USPS was $165. I filed a complaint with the New York Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission and Facebook in addition to a dispute with our credit card. (Still waiting on my $!) The banking industry and Facebook should be screening these scam companies that use bait & switch techniques.

Ordered a dress & it was too big. Returns have to be shipped back to China. UPS quote was $280! No phone number to contact them, email only.

I wish I could give negative stars. This was a complete fraud and scam. I ordered a dress for my daughter's wedding. The dress I received was not the same dress pictured online. The fabric was different. The material was different, and the quality horrible. When I emailed them for a return, they stated that there would be slight variations due to lighting and the item being handmade. They said they were willing to offer a 7% voucher for future purchases. When I insisted that this was not a slight variation but a totally different dress, they offered a 10% refund, or I could ship it back for $80 to $120, not including several other fees. They also let me know that if they did not receive the dress in 14 days, they would not accept it. Also, customs was holding and delaying things, so I should expect it not to arrive on time. After several back-and-forth emails in which they said things that contradicted their website's return policy, I am reporting them as fraudulent to the company that handled my payment, my bank, and any other relevant sites. Save yourself and don't buy! I don't think they actually have any of the dresses they are selling. Complete scam!

My experience is exactly the same as I’ve seen in the rest of these reviews. I really wish I would’ve seen these reviews earlier. I ordered a dress from this website and I ordered two different sizes as I could be in between, thinking I could easily return the size that I don’t use for a wedding coming up. As soon as I receive the dress, the flower print looked like someone printed a fuzzy picture of a few flowers compared to what the actual picture was in the website. The print was comical to say the least. In the website, it also shows a sheer material and the dress I received was some very thick polyester cheap shiny material. Again, I was under the impression the whole time based on their website that I was dealing with a company in Washington. With that said, I placed the order with regular shipping thinking it would arrive with plenty of time. Well, it arrived about four days before the wedding and I was so disgustingly disappointed in the quality. Of course I had a back up dress and ended up wearing that from a different store. When I emailed to get the return shipping label, they told me that I would have to return it overseas to England, not China, where it came from, and that the shipping would cost just as much as the refund, conveniently. Instead, they offered me a measly 7% to buy more. I’ve never been so disgusted at an online clothing company. The fact that they bluntly lie on their website with fake reviews and fake pictures and descriptions of their sizes and material is mind blowing. You do your due diligence and read up about shipping and location but you are being completely lied to openly in their site. They are a complete scam.

bought 3 dresses on two separate orders. all were received after lengthy wait. To my horror, "satin" means nothing more than shiny polyester material. Horrible craftsmanship and nothing fits true to measurements provided on the website. Trying to facilitate a return through customer service is a joke. They try to con you into keeping the dress and buying more from them at 7% discount... then 10% discount... i have literally been emailing every day for ten days asking for the return shipping address - to no avail. They want me to miss the return window. What a scam!!!

I ordered a dress in Size 0 because the bust measurement online said 32 inches, which would fit me perfectly. Instead, I received a dress with so much extra chest material that I could pull it 4 inches away from my body…!
They assured me they shipped the correct size. How can a company post such inaccurate measurements and expect customers to be satisfied?!
I told them I’d like to return the dress and they offered me 20% discount to find a more accurate size…ok, but you don’t offer dresses smaller than 0? Completely pointless.
I was then told it would cost $120USD to return. I paid that much for the dress. Absolute false advertising and scammer energy. Don’t buy from here. The dresses are cheap material anyways and don’t match the pictures online.

Company is terrible. No one should ever order from this company. Should have read reviews earlier. I never take the time to write a bad review of anything, but on this experience I am making an exception. Product quality is horrendous, customer service is slow and unhelpful, and it is impossible to make a return. Save yourself the aggravation and steer clear of this company.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy from them. The item is nothing like the picture. Cheap quality and excess material. I tried to return it and it took 1 week of going back and forth thru email. Mind you, they respond every 24hrs to your message. So with the delay and the constant talking you out of return, offering 10-25% of the value in a refund! I disputed this with the credit card and now waiting to return the item at $30 shipping cost. Nope, waste of time, do not buy!

While the dress is gorgeous and fits, it is not the color I ordered! To add insult to injury, the company would not pay for a return or provide a full credit. I thought I was ordering from a company based in WA but turns out it's in China. If I had done my homework, I would've never ordered from them. DO NOT fall for the social media ads

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! This company should be reported and shut down! Return policies that are not transparent! I tried to return two dresses that were never worn, tags attached and in original
Packaging, as per return policy. They offered me 7% of my purchase price and vouchers for more dresses! I wanted a full return and they said I could return the dresses back to China and pay the $120 return fee even though the dresses were shipped to me from NY! After 2 WEEKS of negotiating, I was able to get 50% of a refund and kept both dresses, which they never wanted back! My customer service rep was very kind, but ultimately told me that 50% was all I was going to get and my time was running out on the return. I would go naked before I ever purchased from this site! I even checked the return policy prior to ordering and it said nothing about limited return policy, returning merchandise to China, and getting vouchers in lieu of full returns! The return policy not transparent at all! BEWARE! Plenty of other dress sites, but honestly, check all reviews first! This company should be out of business for all of the complaints and negativity regarding return policies it has! 🤬

Waited days to ship my items. Only responded with a bullshit email after it was collected by the carrier and now too late for them to cancel.

Do not order from them, pay for expedited shipping, and then expect your items on time.
Will be filing fraud dispute with credit card company and returning the items if they ever actually arrive.

I really wanted to love this dress. The photos on the website looked beautiful, and one of the reasons I felt comfortable ordering was that Alizua's return policy states that they offer a full refund within a 14‑day return window. Unfortunately, when the dress arrived, it didn't look like the dress advertised on the website. The drape, fit and fabric appearance were noticeably different from the product photos, so I contacted customer service the same day I received it and asked for the return address so I could send it back. Instead of being given a return address, I was asked for photos, which I provided. I was then told the differences were due to the handmade nature of the garment and was offered a 5% refund or a 7% store voucher if I kept the dress. I declined and again requested the return address. It is now five days since my initial request and they are still stalling. What has disappointed me most is not the dress itself, but the apparent difficulty in accessing the return process that is advertised on their website. If a company offers a 14‑day return policy, customers should be able to obtain return instructions promptly when they ask for them. Be very, very careful ordering from this company. Returning an item may not be as straightforward as the website suggests.

Que experiencia mala tuve ! Me encantó un vestido pero no me gusta cómo me queda. Me pongo a devolverlo y me dicen que voy a pedir casi mitad de lo que cuesta porque tengo que pagar para devolver . Que locura ! Y después me dan 7% de discount pero eso no es nada ! Y el website decía que daban el dinero facil pero es mentira . No compré si no estás segura de tu compra !
