Unfortunately, I was sold a spoiled turkey on Christmas Eve, which ruined the family’s St. Stephen’s Day dinner.
I went specially on Christmas Eve, so the bird would be stored for as short a time as possible. I paid €50 for an outdoor-reared, free range bronze turkey. When I got up on St. Stephen’s morning and unwrapped it, the flesh was tacky, even a little slimy, and it smelled really unpleasant.
I tried roasting it anyway, wondering if it was just the plastic wrapping, but even cooked it smelled bad.
So, the whole thing had to go in the bin.
Such a waste, and a great disappointment for the family.

Went to Aldi in Terenure village was very bad experience I walked in with my friends and only after 2 minutes of t being there I was told to get out if I’m not buying anything l. It was ageism to the fullest. Going bad in right now to ask fro her name

I purchased the Butchers Selection Irish Slow Cooked Smoky BBQ ribs 500g which are specially produced for Aldi. I actually got a shock when I opened the packet. The box was literally twice the size of the ribs which weighed only 464g. I really felt ripped off. If the size of the product reduces then this is also a good opportunity to help save the planet by reducing the packaging. It really feels like it is done to deceive the customer. There is a small packet of barbecue sauce as well but it does not justify the packaging being twice the size.

I have had a really bad experience here today with a grocery manager. Tall with glasses. 2 days ago I purchased a bottle of wine that had the name and price of the wine directly underneath. It was priced at €6.99 however when I got home and checked my receipt I was charged 7.99. The manager argued with me that the price was correct even though the price underneath stated 6.99. Just said it was put on the wrong shelf .. He eventually agreed to give me a euro refund. I waited while he disappeared for 10 minutes. He arrived back with a handful of 5 and 10 cent coins… such unbelievable ignorance.!!! Absolutely no apology ! I have been shopping here 4/5 times a week since the store opened. Aldi really need to teach their managers some curtesy.
What a way to treat a customer that was completely in the right.

Ok so coffee machine at Aldi
1.99 for a coffee .normal or a half cup same price!
So who tf wants a half cup?
Have you ever gone to someone's house and say no I'll have a half cup !!
But yet the default setting is half cup ..kip ! We all don't hv 20/20 vision.
Little tiny button on the top left to change from half cup to normal cup .it's all the same price you fools.default should be normal cup,and then select half cup .what a joke ,either very clever or very stupid .I'm that angry getting a misly half cup I left it there .PS just hv a normal cup size for everyone.one button .it's the same bloody price .if some doesn't want to drink it all .so what !

During these hard times we are all been careful with our money. I was buying pot noodles for my lunch in Tesco Ireland and that greedy shop was charging 2.50 euro for one pot noodles The other problem with this shop is when go to the till to pay for what you bought the price is higher than what you saw on the shelf I bought the same noodles in Aldi there brand for 1 euro I will be shopping here for now on

I'm a good customer of aldi in drogheda.it use to be a great store its gonna down hill now shelfs are always empty.the dates on the food isn't great.they advertise items and tools ect on there leaflets.and when you go up to buy there never there.mice running around the one in drogheda today.and there gone very expensive.im gonna try lidl or tesco

SHOP AT ALDI🔥🔥🔥

It was amazing. All the staff was so kind and I needed anything they would help me right away. Also not too expensive so it did great when I wanted to buy something👍👍👍

I visted the Limerick store early this morning as my child has a hard to control her emotions , and trying to keep her calm without her having outbursts is hard daily, but one member of staff was truly helpful
and amazing to us , thanks for having such good and understanding staff.

It gives value. Everything under one roof

Go mood went 4 items check out young girl ok nearly there ?
Next thing this couple intrupted us and went on about train ??? Anyone with IQ would say i finish this with the customer and then deal with the cheeky couple \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\/ NO The check out assisitane went into full conversation with said couple who were queue jumping ,and 2 items checked and i standing there going i don,t beleive this even 10 year old could handle this ??? I told couple do you mind i been served and would like to be appreciated , the dumb person serving never said anything countinuied to talked couple , i realy had enough and advised the person checking out to deal with customer and then deal with queue jumping couple.
I am never going near place again .

I lost my Aldi Christmas savings card recently. I spoke to Natalie in the Seatown Rd branch. She was just so kind & helpful & we got it sorted. She went above & beyond caring. It has definitely given me my faith back in him humanity. My family will now have a stress free Christmas. Thank you Natalie

Always a pleasure shopping in aldi. Mmm that frozen chicken is just too good and them pizzas . Staff are so busy all the time and just so nice. We'll done guys you are a credit to aldi, and aldi is just lovely since it was revamped

Aldi in Mayfield cork city,the shelf’s are mostly empty,and if your foolish enough to ask staff for help God help you.The staff are really lacking any sort of manners,you could go through the till area load your groceries on to the convare belt ,and the staff are having a conversation with all the other staff members they don’t look at you they don’t even know your in the shop .and when you tell them I’ll take the receipt please,they point at the receipt printer ,,for you to take it.The staff members in ‘charge’ seem to spend most of the time chasing trolleys around the car parking area while there is one till opened,I have shopped in Aldi stores all over Ireland,and this one in Mayfield cork is the worst,I had to give one star ,only because there is no minus,I now travel a few miles down to Glanmire store ,so
Much nicer people working there,and its not so stressful

I went into Aldi in castlebar and asked could I use the toilet and was told that I couldn't use the toilet because it was staff only any other aldi inches country would let you use there toilet I would give aldi give aldi in castlebar _5 out 10

Very limited selection of items in general more like a glorified sweet shop certainly since the last time I did a shop in Aldi it has regressed considerably and personally I wouldn't be in any great hurry to return
