Raymond Broomfield has been my financial adviser for several years and I cannot rate him highly enough. Not only is he extremely punctual at replying to me and actioning my requests, he does so in a professional and friendly manner. Raymond always replied to my questions thoroughly in a way in which I can understand. Very impressed by his service.

At the great age of 86 I am in the process of transferring my assets to my grandchildren (the Beneficiaries). New money-laundering laws make this a far more complex business than I had thought. My financial adviser, Raymond Broomfield has the matter in hand: AFH's Head Office employ a raft of experts in the field and Raymond seems to know the right one for each query.

I have been with AFH a few years now, Raymond Broomfield is my manager. Sorted out a couple of issues in my portfolio when i arrived. So good scrutiny. Always responds in a timely way to any of my queries . Reviews are always a good discussion.

I have been a client of AFH for many years, and during this time I have had 3 independent financial advisors. The first of these advisors was Nick Ingram, who was reliable, trustworthy, and I felt comfortable with Nick that my investments were in safe hands and well managed. Nick was very personable as well as professional, he kept in touch regularly and always made at home visits which is important to me, as I like to see and build a relationship with whoever is managing my money.

After having Nick manage my investments for a considerable number of years, I was saddened when he informed me that we would be retiring, and I was also apprehensive about who my new IFA would be, how we would get along, and how they would continue to manage my portfolio.

Following Nicks retirement I was assigned an advisor called Shaz Khan, who turned out to be less than useless. He rarely kept in touch, only visited me once during the time that he was my advisor, and gave me little confidence in his abilities to manage my investments. It also made me question my faith in AFH as a company, if he was the type of person that they were employing.
Thankfully he didn’t stick around for too long, and I was assigned a new (my current) financial advisor, Ommarabab Shah (Rabab).

After my negative experience with Shaz, Rabab has been a breath of fresh air, and has helped to restore my faith in AFH. Rabab is extremely professional, and goes above and beyond all expectations. She is always on hand to answer any questions I may have, and is always contactable via phone or email. With Rabab I feel confident again that my investments are in safe hands, and she has also helped me in other areas - setting up critical illness cover and income protection. She is a true asset to AFH and I hope that they appreciate her, realise her value, and do their utmost to retain her, as I would be very disappointed to lose such a hard working, professional, and competent advisor. I would highly recommend Rabab and her services to anyone looking for an advisor, and I hope that she continues to be my advisor for many years to come.

I have been a client of AFH since 2018, Within this period I have had 3 IFA's.
The first IFA (James) was super - he was highly professional, yet very approachable. He never failed to provide either answers to questions/concerns raised, or provide information that I happened to request. He was particularly helpful in providing information /guidance during the market downturn in 2020.

I was therefore rather saddened,and concerned to find out that he had decided to move on to pastures new a couple of years later.
Unfortunately my concerns proved to be legitimate when I was provided with his replacement. The person was a complete let down.

It did briefly concern me that he had been employed by AFH, and that they felt/ decided that he was a perfect fit with the company. Also, that he would uphold /continue with the quality of service that I had previously received/ been accustomed to.
This thought led me to question the professionalism of AFH, and my decision to employ/use them.

Fortunately AFH were impressively quick to resolve the situation. The replacement IFA was replaced within the blink of an eye.

I am now fortunately in the hands of Ommarabab Shah, whom is a wonderful, honest, trustworthy, conscientious,and hardworking IFA. Ommarabab is absolutely fantastic!! She goes above and beyond to address any concerns/questions that I may have. I simply cannot, and would not fault her.
In fact I would suggest to AFH that they ensure that her hard work is fairly rewarded, and to ensure that they work hard to retain her.

In terms of the services that AFH provide I am highly satisfied that I have made the correct choice in employing AFH. I intend to remain with AFH for the foreseeable future.

Our AFH adviser, David Reilly, has consistently given us good financial advice over the last three years. His professional approach and guidance has given us the confidence to make investments that are now making good returns. During meetings David is always punctual, friendly, courteous and patient. We highly recommend AFH and David Reilly in particular.

Back in the summer of 2024, we had the great misfortune to deal with Mike Rogers at the Taunton office of AFH. His mismanagement of my Dads investment via Canada Life, was massively stressful to myself and my sister, he was slack, and so late providing us with the most basic of service. I do not recommend anyone use him or AFH for anything, as I wouldn't trust him to post a letter. We started dealing with him in April 2024, and it took four months to sort out accessing the funds.

Duncan is a great guy to deal with he keeps us fully informed & updated on a regular basis. He ensures we receive the best service & always know how our pensions are doing. We would highly recommend him & his services.
