One comment is our glass panel was delivered whilst we were out - as explained it might need to be - but there was zero protective packaging and it was leant against a brick wall. I assumed there would be some protective cardboard for example

A&E glazing are outstanding! I order glass tops for my furniture, cut to size to protect my furniture. The sizing was perfect. The ordering process was easy and the call me to arrange delivery. Delivered early and kept me informed throughout
Really happy with my experience with A&E Glazing LTD. I ordered 2 glass units and was expecting a longer wait at the time of booking, but they arrived just 6 days later! Throughout the process I was kept updated, and the day before delivery they called to check I was available and confirm a time slot. It's refreshing to deal with a company that communicates so professionally. Will definitely use them again.

Dumped a glass table top in communal area
Despite much requesting delivery details from them and rearranging travel to be at our flat the only time they said they could deliver, they delivered a day early when I was not there. They dumped the large glass table top with no protection in the communal area of our building on a stone floor against a concrete wall. Also leaving me to carry it upstairs, through fire doors and into a lift by myself. Hopefully it will still be intact when I get there on the only day they said they could deliver.

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your delivery experience. We did send email updates and attempted to call ahead of the delivery, but unfortunately weren’t able to reach you at the time.
Our driver was able to access the building with assistance from on-site staff and left the item safely in the communal area when no one was available to receive it. We understand this may have been inconvenient, and we did offer a goodwill discount to help resolve this.
We’d also like to reassure you that toughened glass does not require additional packaging due to its strength, and we aim to avoid unnecessary packaging for environmental reasons.
That said, we will review this delivery internally to see how we can improve our service going forward. Please feel free to contact us directly if you’d like to discuss further.

Very impressed
From start to finish I have been impressed with and enjoyed dealing with A&E Glazing.
Their website is clear, intuitive and easy to use.
A comment on my order resulted in a call from them for clarification which was clear - necessary for a deaf oldie.
Then regular but not over the top progress emails and delivery well within their time slot with good delivery updates.
