These courses have been perfect for me, particularly my style and pace of learning. I'm very reflective and need autonomy to go at a pace around that, as well as all of my other work and family commitments. The support available from AMC is second to none, they get it. All mentors and staff members are Celebrants, theyve been through the trials, tribulations, successes and joys of doing it. I wholeheartedly recommend the AMC for anyone embarking upon this wonderful career!

Sometimes in life you need to take a leap! I kept coming back to the AMC website and one day I signed up for the Master Celebrant course.

Once again I have graduated following a wonderful Naming Celebrant course with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy. The flexibility, content and supporting elements meant that I was able to complete the modules at a steady pace to fit in with my busy life. My Mentor was outstanding in her guidance and support too.

I really enjoyed the course and I had a fantastic mentor who has been instrumental in helping me develop my skills and knowledge to be a wedding celebrant.

I am just finishing the funeral course, I really enjoyed the online learning, it's really informative, practical and useful. My experience with my mentor Roz was amazing, she is so supportive, warm and encouraging. The support from the facebook group is great too, it feels like a real community. I would definitely recommend training with the AMC family.

Taking this journey into celebrancy with the AMC has been incredible. The self-study modules really make you think about all aspects of celebrancy and how you will engage in the role. The mentorship is outstanding. Miranda - my mentor - really cared; she supported me throughout the mentoring stage and gave insightful and helpful feedback. I have no hesitation in recommending the AMC!

Funeral training - there was some good content but the course structure was confusing and at times repetitive.

After researching a lot of different options, I am so glad I chose the Academy of Modern Celebrancy. The course is incredibly well-structured, covering everything from script writing to ceremony delivery, and the modules are engaging, practical, and really build your confidence step by step.

The mentorship with Laura was invaluable, she gave me clear, actionable feedback while also encouraging me to find my own celebrant voice. I loved how the course allowed me to explore my own style and creativity, while also teaching the professionalism needed to run a successful celebrancy business.

It wasn’t always easy balancing the course with work and life, but the flexibility, support, and guidance made it achievable. Today, I can proudly say I’m officially a qualified celebrant, confident and excited to start this new chapter.

A great approach to learning and going at your own pace and getting the most from putting the effort in. The mentor stage was a challenge where their feedback was invaluable to help me push myself and now the course is finished I feel well equipped, informed and ready to start putting all the learning into reality. The Training materials, videos and support from the mentors and Celebrant community are brilliant. Working alongside others on the course kept you motivated, and the amount of good ideas you pick up along the way from others just like you.

Overall, it's a great experience. I've conducted some weddings in the past, but the coursework proved to be extremely valuable (I didn't know what I didn't know)!
Also, the communication and responses were fast, considered and helpful. A special shoutout to Theresa. Honestly, she kept me grounded and answered my questions with grace. Also a shoutout to Miranda - my mentor. So quick with grading my assignments with constructive feedback. The woman radiates such good vibes!
My small challenge is that I'm "working" in France and the first module was very U.K. centered. I get it, the organization is based in the U.K. - it just was not applicable to me.
I would 100% recommend AMC.

Clear, thorough modules that are organised and make sense without being overwhelming. The first portion is self study in your own time, the second is mentor led and across x 9 weeks. Weekly support and guidance is available and is a safe, supportive, friendly space. The feedback is constructive and valuable. All in all a wonderful experience and I can't wait to change my life.

The format of the self-study modules was good, easy to follow with lots of great content to learn and digest. What was great was that you can learn at your own pace. The regular live Q&A sessions were invaluable.
My mentor led training was great and Marcia provided encouragement and support all the way through the 9 weeks leading to my graduation.

A very good course, detailed and well supported

I signed up with the AMC as I was really impressed with their information, professionalism, and network of fellow celebrants. Throughout the course, I used a great deal of the material they provided, including blogs, podcasts, guides, weekly Q&A sessions, and a mentor to guide me through my final assessments. I felt supported and part of a successful team that has given me the confidence to start my own business as an independent celebrant. I am really excited!

AMC has everything needed in perfect packaging size! From day one, you are guided about what to do. If you're stuck or unsure, there's the AMC group where there is a wealth of experience from the mentors and other students. It's all very supportive. The training materials are challenging, but enjoyable too.
