I dealt with 4thutlity on behalf of my elderly dad who is paying way too much for his current broadband deal.

Firstly I called the company and the call was answered within about 20 seconds by an actual human, with none of the usual 'you now have 5 options' nonsense. The person I spoke to, Bernie, was warm, friendly and knowledgeable and explained all options available with no hard sell. She followed this up with an email outlining all that we had discussed. She also gave advice on companies who could provide a phone line that my dad wants.

I was provided with a direct phone number and email address to contact her following discussions with my dad, and was able to place the order for the package he wanted.

A wonderful company to deal with. I would highly recommend based on my experience.

Money was taken from my account yesterday, yet my broadband service is still suspended. I was informed that my payment date was the 18th, but yesterday was not the 18th, so I’m unclear as to why the payment was taken when it was.

I have now paid for the service, but I am still unable to use it, which means I’m effectively paying for a service that I am not receiving.

I also don’t appreciate how quickly the service is suspended after a missed payment. You don’t know what circumstances someone may be dealing with, and this hasn’t been explored or asked about — they could be financially struggling or otherwise vulnerable — and cutting off an essential service so quickly is extremely frustrating.

I would like to say that the call handler I spoke to was very polite and professional, so I would give her 5 stars personally. Unfortunately, the service itself has been extremely disappointing.

Money seems to be taken from my account unpredictably/sporadically for a service that costs £38.50 per month, and I don’t feel that the level of service justifies that cost. As a result, I will be cancelling my service and looking for a cheaper and more reliable provider.

Phoned up to cancel as im going with another provider. Fella i spoke with was pleasant and ive had no issues (thus far).

I had no idea how to go about getting Internet service in my wee home. I went onto live chat and spoke with Liam who explained everything to me, I chose the package best suited for my needs and at a great price too.

Lovely lads installed polite neat and tidy job and tidy workers working great on time and got on with the job .

Signed up with 4thUtility due to an offer. BT then matched that so I called to cancel. Spoke with Fasil who was polite & confident without being overly pushy. Gave a fantastic deal so I have stayed. I immediately got on to others to say how great the service was & how others should sign up with 4thUtility.

Been with 4thUtility for 3 months now and I honestly can't fault them so far.
The speeds have been as promised, and the app is good for keeping track of everything.
I did have an issue during my first couple of days where I couldn’t get a connection. This wasn’t actually 4thUtility’s fault, as CityFibre were having problems with the network itself. I only mention it because when I called 4thUtility to find out what was happening, I was genuinely impressed that I could actually speak to someone helpful who knew what was going on, something I definitely couldnt say about my previous provider!
So far, really happy with the service and would happily recommend them.
