Be aware that you might not be successful if you wish to return an item. I am having a lot of trouble returning an item to get a refund even though I have returned it within the time allowed.

Poor quality, sizes not accurate. Return process terrible. I should have read the reviews and interestingly the comments from 4th ARQ, who repeatedly say thank you for comments about poor returns and they will look into them! Clearly not! No return labels supplied and post office charging £15 to return. Don’t order!

Extortionate return fee (£15) which if their sizing was accurate, it wouldnt be so bad but the sizing is all over the place, fleeces not long lasting (go very thin after 2/3 washes). Recently I (stupidly) placed an order for 2 items, after 2 weeks neither item was dispatched & after me emailing several times to enquire about my order I was told its just gone out of stock. If I hadnt of persisted with emails, they would’ve just been happy to take my money & provide no items. I accept things go wrong/out of stock but this company is repeatedly doing this & getting away with it & there are no consequences or learning for them! DO NOT ORDER!!!!

4th Arq are continually creating new styles / colours which are not popular - and are not at all interesting ! Their popularity is based on their basics like Lennox / Phoenix .. and they don’t replace the popular colours - but push colours that are left in stock. Not great prospects going forward.

The 4th Arq fleece looks alot better quality on the website & promoting they do. The quality is not great, cheap quality actually. Price point should be same as primark. Also the fleece is handwash only!!

Tried to return one fleece and had to pay my own postage for return which was £14.40 from Northern Ireland. I think this is ridiculous having to do this. There must be a better way. The fleece was only £35 to begin with!

Their new ‘cloud’ fabric that there are trying to convince us is so soft and buttery etc etc is just a really cheap micro fleece that is so artificial and inflexible it doesn’t sit the same and feels very tight and uncomfortable. I always weave XS in Lennox older style. Got the cloud fabric and don’t know if even a S would feel comfortable.
Pushed out too much and quality has tanked. No point branching into stocking in NEXT etc only to sell cheap versions and not the products that carried you to the top. Have bought about 12 half zips over the years and wanted the Sourdrop colour so bought the fleece for the colour rather than the fabric but I’m returning to and won’t purchase again if this is the fabric they are going to keep using

I am very disappointed with the return and the stock and exchange. Because of this, I don't think I will buy from them again, even though there are products that I like.Oh, and I had to send back with my own money!!!!

While there was an error in the order, the item purchased was actually unavailable, the customer service was super. All queries dealt with in a really prompt and clear way. We were also compensated for the error which was unexpected and appreciated and we were able to redeem this when we reordered. Overall we are so pleased with the quality of the items and only compliant would be that the out of stock items seem to take a long time to be available again. So 4th Arq offers great quality matched by its customer service.

Ordered a fleece in a size small as per size guide. When it arrived it was massive on me and way too long. I messaged 4th arq and was told just to return them via DPD but I would have to pay for the postage. I then discovered there are no DPD drop offs near me, 4th arq said use Royal Mail.. which was a whopping £12 to return so not even worth my while.

I messaged again and was ignored🤯

It has honestly put me off buying anything from them again it’s a big red flag when you can’t exchange or return easily.

Also I gave it to a friend and she said they do not wash well so that’s to be noted

Just received my new Maddox fleece. To find two big dirty stains on the front. Will not be buying of the website again

I sent an email to 4TH ARQ about a faulty product on 07/05/26, i received an automated email reply on 07/05/26 stating that i would get a response as soon as possible. I have yet to receive a repsonse.
I sent a follow up email on 20/05/26 and received the same automated email reply. I have yet to receive a response to this email also.
I can understand that they are busy but to email nearly 1 month ago and still not have a reply or response to my original email is just not acceptable.

Ordered 2 fleeces. One came in about 5 days. The other still hasn't arrived and it's been 2.5 weeks.
Wanted to return the 1st one but they don't offer a return label (not even a payable one) and it was £13 to return to Ireland!! Also haven't responded to 3 attempts to contact them.

Ordered an item nearly 3 weeks ago and have not heard anything from them regarding delivery date. I’ve contacted them via email but have still not heard anything back. Don’t waste your time or money.

Ordered a sweatshirt 3 weeks ago, still waiting on delivery or even an excepted date despite sending another mail. Would not recommend this company. Poor customer service.

Absolutely rubbish Customer Service. Returned an order 20th April- 26th May still no refund, started contacting 4th Arq on the 20th May and no reply to anything. so their website it says "Please do not hesitate to send an email if you have any questions at all" 2 days for a reply and 14/21 days for a refund, none of this is true!!

Ordered on 5th April and was promised delivery within 10 days. I even emailed during that window to chase as nothing had been dispatched - no proper response. It finally arrived late, by which point I’d already left for a pre-planned holiday and couldn’t use the items.

When I asked to return them, they refused to provide a returns label and expected me to pay £15 to ship back to Dublin - for a delay that was entirely their fault. I’ve now contacted them five times across email and Instagram. Complete silence.

I’m now convinced they are a scam as the items looked cheap and they won’t respond. So avoid if you don’t want to be scammed out of your money,

Possibly one of, if not the worst companies with customer service I’ve ever encountered. Do not reply to direct emails, telephone calls and social media approaches. Wish I hadn’t ordered them. The amount of items on resale websites due to not being able to return is testament to how poor their returns policy is.

I ordered 3 fleeces in the recent warehouse sale which took extremely long to arrive but that was made clear on the website before ordering. One of the fleeces is lovely quality and fits well but the other two are too small so I tried to return with Royal Mail and was quoted £15 to return two fleeces from Belfast to Dublin. One of the fleeces cost me £18!! So I will have to keep them both as it makes no sense to pay so much to return. Surely a huge brand like this has a better solution to returns. Their customer service is extremely slow too. I love the products but wouldn’t ever order from the brand again for this reason and would actively discourage anyone else outside of the ROI from ordering either.

Expensive Returns

It is made clear that you have to pay for your returns- i just want everyone to know 2x medium parcels sent from Northern Ireland to the ROI was £61 through Royal Mail. It was a £200 order- so please keep this in mind before ordering if unsure of size/colour

Fleeces are quite boxy a fit, average quality.
