Generic and unsatisfactory results and bad service
The results of the search were very generic and totally did not match what you should expect on the basis of the known family history. I complained about this, but did not get a satisfactory reply, nor a refund of my money (or payment of my money to a charitable fund as suggested).

Hello, as we explained on our website and by email, clarifying your doubt, the ancestry results of the 24Genetics test depend on the clusters that we have references in our benchmark. Against these references, we compare the client's genetic information and infer which regions are more likely to share ancestry signals from the information obtained from the sequencing, which we are sure is the best that is currently on the market.
The algorithms dissect the genetic inheritance passed down to us by our ancestors a few generations back (between 25 and 30; That is, between ~700 and ~900 years ago), giving us a result of which regions have participated in the demographic history of the areas to which our ancestors belonged. But, of course, this does not mean that with the ancestry calculation, we get a static picture of the genetics and origin of our ancestors at that historical moment. Instead, it is an interpretative result of how that genetic inheritance has reached us, given the movements of populations and their connections throughout history, even before that time frame, as our ancestry team has already explained to you in your specific case. I referti sono molto precisci e dettagliati, spiegano ogni cosa. Molto soddisfatta di tutto il servizio, impegno e cura al dettaglio. Grazie mille anche per l'assistenza ricevuta con difficoltà e domande. La confezione che ti rimane con cui ti mandano il kit è dettagliata, impossibile sbagliare e molto bello il packaging. Vieni informato passo passo dall'acquisto al ricevimento del pacco alla rispedizione e sui vari controlli che vengono fatti. Non ti senti abbandonato e sei informato su ogni passaggio fatto per analizzare il campione. Posso dire che sono molto accurati i referti. Alcune cose, già confermate con test medici, sono state riconfermate con voi, ritenendo quindi molto affidabile il resto. Ovviamente farò altri controlli come da voi consigliato. Prodotto ottimo con grande soddisfazione. Consiglio vivamente di provarlo.

To avoid ! à éviter c'est une arnaque ! des mois que j'attends les les résultats : d'abord ils prétendent que le courrier s'est perdu, puis lors du second envoi ils refusent de signer le courrier recommandé et il n'est renvoyé sans raison, 3ème et dernière tentative sans résultat non plus!!! j'ai perdu le montant de mon achat et ces gens prétendent que c'est de ma faute.
Ne faites pas la même erreur que moi.

Empresa seria y con un gran servicio de atención al cliente. Desde que envié la muestra hasta que recibí los resultados del test pasó un mes justo, menos de lo previsto, y en todo momento me fueron avisando de la fase en la que estaba la muestra. Cuando llegaron los resultados, me sorprendió lo precisos que fueron (según lo que sabía de mis origenes familiares) además de alguna sorpresa extra. Tuve alguna duda y enseguida me la respondieron por email con una clara y elaborada explicación que no me esperaba de un servicio de atención al cliente. En resumen, comparadas con otras empresas similares, ésta es de las de precio más alto, pero la precisión y detalle de los resultados, y la profesionalidad y cercanía al atender al cliente, hace que no sean caros y merezcan la pena en mi opinión. ¡Recomendados!

Très déçu de ce test qui est complètement aberrant . j'ai fait un test sur MyHeritage et les résultats n'ont absolument rien en commun. Une entreprise qui vole de l'argent.

Nous regrettons qu'après plusieurs courriels clarifiant tous les résultats indiqués dans le rapport d'ascendance, vos attentes n'aient pas été satisfaites.
Chez 24Genetics, nous appliquons un algorithme en constante amélioration et le résultat affiché dans nos rapports correspond à l'attribution de pourcentages de coïncidence entre les marqueurs génétiques présents dans votre ADN et la mutation géographique enregistrée par notre technologie, dont nous sommes presque certains qu'elle est la meilleure du marché.
Chaque entreprise a ses propres algorithmes et sa propre technologie, et il n'y a aucune raison pour que le résultat coïncide entre les différentes entreprises. Le fait qu'il ne coïncide pas avec le rapport d'une autre entreprise ne signifie pas que notre résultat n'est pas le bon.
Pour nous, ce n'est pas un prétexte pour effectuer un remboursement car nous avons fait notre travail, en envoyant le rapport qui figure ouvertement sur notre site web.
Nous regrettons encore une fois de ne pas avoir répondu à vos attentes.

Sono stato attirato dalla curiosità di conoscere i miei antenati, ma vedendo i servizi offerti e il rapporto qualità/prezzo, ho deciso di prendere il pacchetto “all in one”, e ne sono molto soddisfatto. I tempi dei risultati sono un po’ lunghetti, però lo staff è stato molto professionale, rispondendo sempre e con puntualità ad ogni mia e-mail. Consigliatissimo!!
