Great customer support. Happy with the result

I ordered the 24Genetics Ancestry reports for my raw data files that I already had from two other DNA companies. I am extremely happy with the reports, and find them to be detailed and accurate. The 24Genetics ancestry team did their best to answer email communications and to explain in detail how to interpret the reports and how the data was analyzed, which I greatly appreciated. Overall I am impressed with their customer service and the information provided in my raw data ancestry reports, which have given me an excellent perspective on my ancestry and genetic affinities with certain populations.

Very poor service!
I paid £280 for a dna/genetic test and after nearly 3 weeks my sample was returned with no explanation as to why they had returned my sample back from spain without any results(the envelope was not even opened)
I called 3 times and was told to email with my concerns, i then emailed but had no response so as it currently stands I am £280
Down with no test results and no way of contacting anybody to find a solution and when I do call the people at the other end have very little English so it end’s with “please email” of which they then ignore you.

I only have reasons to admire your way of working.

I already knew it in 2016 when I made some suggestions for improvements in your first report model and Vicente Barrio received, thanked and applied them (I was a data analyst and pharmaceutical marketing researcher for many years), ...and I confirm it now with attention received from Sonia Planell and Isaac de Prado this November 2023.

I had a recent 24 Genetics update re Ancestry on a test I did 3 years ago.This time I felt my original Ancestry test results were more accurate as the recent update is quite a but different this time I feel

I've always been curious about my ancestry and health, and I knew that a genetic test would be the best way to learn more about myself. I did a lot of research before I chose a test, and I finally decided on 24Genetics.
The test was straightforward to do. I just swabbed my cheek with a cotton swab, and then I sent the swab back to 24Genetics. I got my results back a few weeks later, and I was blown away by how much information they contained.
I learned a lot about my ancestry. I discovered I'm primarily European, with some Asian and African ancestry. I also learned about my genetic risk for certain diseases. I was surprised to learn that I have a higher risk for a few conditions, but I'm glad that I know about them so I can take steps to reduce my risk.
The most fascinating part of the test was learning about my genetic traits. I found out that I'm more likely to be lactose intolerant, and I'm also more likely to be a morning person. I also learned that my gene makes me more susceptible to sunburn.
Overall, I'm so glad that I took a genetic test. It was a great way to learn more about myself, giving me a new appreciation for my DNA.

Ich hatte mich für den Versand per Post enschieden. das Problem war,dass mein Paket per Post zu mir zurück kam, da es nicht zugestellt werden konnte. Die kommunikation verlief anfangs ohne Problem. Als es schliesslich darum gieng, dass mir die Firma einen Kurier organisiert um mein Paket bei mir abzuholen hörte ich plötzlich nichts mehr. Bis heute habe ich gar nichts mehr gehört und das ganze ist jetzt 2 Monate her. Auf meine mehrfachen Anfragen kam keine Antwort zurück. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht!

Après quelques recherches concernant une analyse ADN pour la recherche de mes lointaines origines et aider à mes recherches généalogiques, mon choix s'est porté sur Ancestrum/24Genetics. Je pense ne pas m'être trompé dans mon choix. J'ai pu voir que certains clament une arnaque mais pour mon avis à moi, ce n'est pas du tout le cas. Il faut bien comprendre les explications données, et surtout les bases sur lesquelles leurs rapports sont rédigés (un peu de lecture est nécessaire). J'ai pu au final, et en quelques semaines, obtenir un rapport intéressant et même quelques fois surprenant me confirmant aussi certaines choses que je connaissais ou supposais déjà auparavant. Pour entrer en contact avec eux il est préférable d'utiliser directement leur adresse mail "infoancestrum" plutôt que de passer par leur site Web où je n'ai pas eu de réponse. J'ai pu avoir un contact très rapide avec Sonia (un grand merci à elle) avec laquelle tout s'est très bien passé (quelques questions, l'obtention de mon fichier de données brutes dans la foulée et quelques conseils pour la sécurité de nos données). Voilà, je ne peux pas me plaindre... Une "petite" somme à investir lors de la promotion mais pour ma part, je ne regrette pas mon choix. Je ne peux donc que conseiller ce site dont bien certainement, la base de données ne cesse d'évoluer... Bonne continuation à toutes et tous...

Je suis super déçu moi qui pensais que c'était un site fiable pour faire un test ADN pour savoir mes origines car je suis une enfant de la Dass et en plus quand on envoie des mails ils ne sont pas pressé de répondre

cela fait des semaines que j'attends les résultats, depuis le 27 avril, après mon mail de relance , ils me renvoient un document de 8 pages à remplir que j'avais déjà rempli
cela sent l'arnaque

The whole experience has been better than I could imagine. The kit arrived by mail, no problems there.

I sent it back to them (they have a lab in Boston as well as in Europe) forgetting to provide an authorization to them (a paper that is included in the kit needs to be filled out correctly and signed, just one page, nothing hard), and their customer service reached out to me, asking to provide that to them (for my own privacy and protection which I appreciated).

After I did, they sent the results of the test by email. And it is very detailed! The whole medical genetic predispositions list with a detailed breakdown, ancestry report which was great and pharmacology report which can also be very useful to know which drugs are more likely to affect you (or even harm you).

I think it's important to know what your genetic concerns are as one can be aware of their lifestyle and if they are potentially causing something to happen in the future which they already genetically predisposed to.

I am very happy with the customer service and the whole process, and the final result. 5 Stars. I wish every company did business this way.

Also, if someone doesn't feel the need to do the test for medical reasons, do at least the ancestry report! It is remarkable that you may find out.

I have been thinking for a loner time about exploring my ancestry DNA, but when I looked at the prices I bought the whole bundle. And I do not regret, the reports are really interesting. Maybe, sometimes translation to my native language is a bit clumsy, but overall effect is very good. The whole procedure form payment to the reports took some 7 weeks.
And what was important for me to choose 24genetics was the fact that it is an UE based company, and I feel that legal regulations in the UE are quite strict in privacy issues, medical information protection etc.

Super service, great communication, exciting results. I am very satisfied with 24Genetics.

Rapports très détaillé et plus complet que ce que le descriptif en faisait. Par exemple on analyse les adn Y et MT pour voir les zones géographiques où vivaient les ancêtres de nos deux parents.

Pour ma part recommandation de santé correspondent parfaitement à ce que j'avais obtenu auparavant avec une autre méthode donc je valide complètement.

Pour fini, je souligne l'excellent rapport qualité/prix

Ne payer pas pour ces soit disant informations qui sont vraiment ridicules. J’avais moi-même fait des recherches et les résultats sont absolument dignes d’une supercherie. J’aurais du m’en méfier étant donné que c’est le seul à envoyer des données en France alors que c’est interdit. Mais je ne le savais pas et malheureusement je n’ai vu les avis qu’après. Je leur ai écrit immédiatement leur demandant de ne pas me livrer et comme par hasard j’ai reçu les données immédiatement après alors qu’ils ne l’avaient pas fait dans le délai imparti.
Je vous déconseille de jeter votre argent par la fenêtre

Commande passée le 21 Avril. J'ai fourni le fichier de données ADN.
Délai annoncé :quelques heures.
Je relance le 25 Avril, Réponse : "Bonjour x, nous nous en sommes déjà occupés. Vous recevrez votre rapport sous peu.
Nous vous remercions de votre patience
Un cordial saludo/Best regards"

Nous sommes le 3 Mai et toujours rien reçu.

Cliente depuis 2 ans, je suis très satisfaite de 24Genetics (rapports, puis actualisations) que je considère comme étant l'un des deux meilleurs laboratoires au monde. Concernant l'ascendance, leur rapport Ancestrum, proposé depuis quelques mois, fut une très bonne surprise. Les contacts, via leur adresse e-mail, pour des réponses à mes questions, sont tout autant satisfaisants. Je recommande, sans hésitation.
