Accu defekt
Nach 1000 km war der Accu defekt. Dabei bemerkte ich, dass ich statt des bestellten 10Ah Akkus einen 7,8Ah Akku geliefert bekommen habe.
Der Service diagnostizierte per Bilder und Video eine Tiefenentladung und damit Totalschaden des Accus. Dieser fällt nach 2 Jahren nicht mehr in die Gewährleistung. Neuen Accu bestellt mit der Verrechnung des falschen Akkus, dieser funktioniert jetzt. Den alten hatte ich jetzt nochmals angeschaltet und er ging wieder. Damit konfrontiert schrieb man, dass das Serviceteam keinen Fehler sieht...

Die 10-Ah- und die 7,8-Ah-Batterien haben die gleiche Größe. Hätten wir eine Fälschung anfertigen wollen, hätten wir die 7,8-Ah-Batterie problemlos als 10-Ah-Batterie kennzeichnen können. Das haben wir aber nicht getan; wir haben Ihnen einfach den falschen Artikel zugeschickt. Und Sie haben es nicht bemerkt. Selbst zwei Jahre später haben wir Ihnen die Preisdifferenz noch erstattet, was zeigt, dass wir ein ehrliches Unternehmen sind.
Warum die alte Batterie, die zuvor unbrauchbar war, jetzt wieder normal funktioniert, vermuten wir auf eine schlechte Verbindung im Batteriemanagementsystem (BMS). Sie mag zwar momentan funktionieren, aber die Probleme können nach einiger Zeit wieder auftreten. Unser Kundenservice hat Ihnen lediglich mitgeteilt, dass Sie sie weiterhin verwenden können, solange sie jetzt funktioniert. Wir danken Ihnen für Ihr Vertrauen in unser Produkt und für den Kauf einer neuen Batterie. Sie können nun beide Batterien optimal nutzen und längere Strecken zurücklegen. Gute Fahrt!

Overall, I am satisfied with the assistance provided by these motors.
I had an issue with my first battery after 11 months. The warranty process worked well.
I am not satisfied with my second smartphone mount (I lost my smartphone! Luckily, I found it again). The first smartphone mount makes noise while I ride! But it holds firm.
So, I bought a waterproof smartphone holder bag online, and I am happy with it.

Neuer Akku…
Ich habe einen neuen Akku für mein System bestellt. Der letzte hat über 9000km geliefert, wurde aber natürlich in letzter Zeit immer schwächer, die Reichweite hat für meinen Zweck manchmal nicht mehr ausgereicht zum Schluss. Aber ich finde, das ist eine ganz ordentliche Leistung und schon der Dritte Akku für den Hinterradnabenmotor, der immernoch geräuschlos und kraftvoll läuft. Der Controller wurde mit dem letzten Akku durch die neue Generation ersetzt, sogar kostenlos von 100g gegen Versandkostenübernahme.
Ich finde, das ist eine solide Leistung. Außerdem habe ich geprüft, ob ich in Deutschland den Akku auffrischen lassen kann, indem man einfach die Zellennersetzt, und festgestellt das es deutlich teurer wäre als ein neuer Akku direkt vom Hersteller. Ein Beleg für ein unschlagbares Preis- /Leistungsverhältnis. Vielen Dank!

Dangerous DIY instructions instead of customer service
I purchased an electric bike drive system with a bottle‑shaped battery from 100G. After only three weeks, the battery stopped working completely. Instead of offering a proper replacement, the company wanted to send me only the top “cap” of the battery and instructed me to heat the battery with a hairdryer, twist off the glued cap, and re‑attach and re‑glue the new part myself.
This is a safety‑critical component, and such a repair is neither reasonable nor compliant with CE standards. A manufacturer who expects customers to perform repairs on lithium batteries themselves shows very little sense of responsibility.
A full replacement battery was refused, and I was left with an unsafe DIY repair suggestion. This is not professional customer service and not an acceptable way to handle warranty claims.

Second, regarding CE compliance and the warranty: Replacing the battery top cover and Bluetooth module is an officially recognized repair procedure that we authorize and support. As long as only the top cover assembly is replaced and the main battery cell unit remains intact, the procedure will not affect the product's CE compliance or void your original manufacturer's warranty; your after-sales coverage remains fully valid.
The heating and re-sealing steps you mentioned are standard procedures for casing disassembly and reassembly. They affect only the casing's adhesive points and do not involve the battery's core energy storage components.
