Excessive SPAM, beware!

Excessive SPAM, STOP already!

While the hotels are ok and staff on location are friendly, their customer service (online) is a joke. Response times are over a week and the amount of SPAM they send you once your email address is in their system is incredible. 2 or 3 mails a day, each day, every day. I have unsubscribed, blocked, marked as spam and there is simply no way to stop their junk emails from flooding my inbox. I will NEVER spend a single dollar at their hotels again and will send a registered letter to head offices to ask to STOP sending endless SPAM.

Corrupt crooks who break all European laws and regulations without consequences. No more compensations for endless delays due to "reviews" of the track conditions. This is a catch-all that is used on any delay, even on sections that have been under construction for years. Upgrade your ticket, get transferred to a bus and forget about any compensation, even for the upgrade. Present a complaint and you never hear back, just a message that there was a problem and "please try again in a few minutes". All in all, just avoid RENFE and any of their affiliates. Just take a bus if you MUST travel by public transport or better yet, just rent a car.

Be aware, PHISHING!

Be aware, PHISHING!

Title tells it all. Not much to add. Yes, it can do some basic stuff, but more than anything else, this package is extremely invasive, requires way too much personal and sensitive information and needs more access than realistically required for it to work. Avoid it and learn to code.

These people belong in jail.

That about sums it up. I had the misfortune that an order I placed was sent with ecoscooting. After losing 4 out of 4 packages last year with the excuse that their van was broken, I now have another package that is "accepted by last mile". That is to say, it's with the local delivery company and has not moved for a week. This is exactly what happened last year. On all occasions, they waited for a few weeks and sent the packages back. This will most likely happen again now. These people have 0 ethics, make zero effort to deliver packages and probably charge the sender for the "service provided". They should be in jail or doing forced labour in the mines.

Update: Ecoscooting replies that I should contact customer service. I did just that yesterday. After finally getting to a customer service agent, I was told they were sorry and would speed up the delivery immediately. Well, nothing changed yesterday, nor today and it won't change until they send the package back. These are crooks! Do NOT waste your time on them, EVER.

Pay for express delivery so you get…

Pay for express delivery so you get your product(s)... Whenever. No rush whatsoever. They take the additional money and just take their sweet time. Going on a week and the order which only had an "in stock for immediate shipping" item in it has not moved. Still "processing". No reply to queries about the status or cause of the delay. I'm switching to Panasonic, no need for any more OM junk.

Update Feb 11. After a long wait, I got a reply from OM saying they did not have the item in stock, which caused the delay. They also said they would refund the express shipping. To date, they have NOT. Avoid them at all cost!

Beloftes en garanties zijn niks waard

This place used to be pretty good. Guess they grew a little, hired some millennials and decided customer service was not woke. The name should be changed to cameralater. Guaranteed next day delivery means nothing either. My latest order was ready for immediate shipment, but it never did ship. Not on the day I placed the order, not on the supposed day of arrival, not after that. So I canceled and will never buy here again. Avoid this place as well as kamera express and buy from one of the smaller local retailers.
