UPDATED REVIEW
Feel duty bound to update this review after receiving an email this morning confirming that the date of the test has been amended by Randox. No explanation of the reason for not being able to log in or any indication that the technical issue has been resolved. Never the less I am just grateful to have a response in time.
In fairness I will also provide am update on how the DAY 2 drive through testing procedure works in practice, for the benefit of other potential customers. If the service works as advertised I will be happy to say so, despite my original negative comments.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I booked two drive through tests at Manchester airport (day 2 arrival) for 13 July. These had to be booked individually even though we would be arriving in the same car. The first email confirmation had the correct date but the second had 3 July, even though I input the 13th. I tried to login in to amend the date but the system said my email address was INVALID, even though I had received the confirmation to it. I emailed customer service explaining the problem advising that I had tried to amend the booking on line and why it was not possible - only to get a reply telling me I should amend the booking online!!! I then spent several hours waiting on the phone to speak to somebody (Ben) who said he had heard of similar login problems but could not help, so would get somebody to phone me. Nothing happened and the next day I repeated the process and was told by somebody else he would get somebody to call me urgently. But nobody has. I have sent several more emails to customer service, not one has been replied to.
Clearly there are teething problems with the website. A professional company would have a technical support number to call. Also clear is that Randox has started offering this service without putting an appropriate infrastructure in place, so they appear to be simply chasing revenue and could not care less about customers. Again a serious and professional company would slow down taking new business and concentrate on clearing a backlog of customer complaints, bearing in mind the travel deadlines involved. If Randox is serious about this business somebody will contact me on reading this.
