Do not waste your time! No way to cancel your account! No way to call customer service! No way to remove your email address!

Weeks have now stretched to months, where the site has stated that "they cannot accept trades due to essential maintenance". Several months of 'essential maintenance', while ceasing the company's core activity completely, doesn't sound like a going concern. I can only conclude that they have gone bust. A shame, because I used to trade with them a fair bit, and was generally happy with their service.

Can't check anything if the site dont work and it hasn't been working for weeks. At least putting a holding page error message up or something. Bad business practice. Won't be back.

What is going on at Zapper? The system has been down for over 3 weeks due to "essential maintenance" and no trades are being accepted. Usually get good, prompt service. Have they gone belly-up?

I have used this site often and not had a problem until now. I completed a trade, packed up a medium box with 9 books and they are saying they only received 2! The trade was only for £10.72 and why would I send a box with 2 rattling around in it. The sad thing is the trade was of my dads books who has passed away recently. Customer service didn't really want to know

The website and App has been down for at least a week due to planned maintenance.

You dont get as much for items as some other sites, but they do take a lot more than others sites, so if you just want to get rid of a lot stuff its very good! Easy to use & happy with the whole process

Easy way to get rid of unwanted items. Surprising how the total mounts up. Have used before and will use again in the future.

Turnaround was quite quick. App needs a little development, but it’s functional and does the job.

Please stop offering 1p for everything else - it’s meaningless and distracting. I’d prefer a “no” than a 1p offer

I researched many similar sites before deciding on Zapper. This seemed by far the easiest and lived up to expectations. I had lots of books and DVDs which I needed to get rid of but mainly didn't want them to be wasted and liked the idea that they would recycle if they were not up to standard. All of my items were accepted. Packaging was easy, I would have struggled with weighing my package but the app estimated the weight for me as I added items. I literally had to put them in a box, attach the label provided and drop off at a local shop. I have other items to sell and will definitely be using them again and have already recommended to friends and neighbors.

Whilst a good idea, after scanning about 50 dvds, I was offered about £3 which was fine and I'd happily have accepted that to recycle/pass them on. A lot were 'not accepted' which I don't know why, but the issue is they won't accept anything less than £5 worth, so I have to look elsewhere or just go to a charity shop and hope they still accept them.

Very cheap payouts but if you want to recycle and earn a few pounds then it's worth the effort.

Nice and easy way to sell unwanted items so they may have a second life.
