Zager Guitars Arvostelua

I’m only giving this four stars because it seems the dialog about status of orders for other things besides the guitar lacks feedback when the order is placed.
As far as the instrument themselves they are more that I expected.
I always like to play a guitar before I buy. It has to speak to me. These four guitars I’ve received two 900 series 6&12 versions and the two BOGO I feel in love with as soon as I started to play them. They all spoke to me as if to say start writing and recording again. Specific. Tone, outstanding maintaining tune great, ease to play speechless. Looks awesome

Purchased the ZAD50 Solid Spruce/Mahogany Acoustic Vintage Sunburst. It plays and sounds heavenly. I am in my 70s with arthritic hands and this guitar makes playing pleasurable again.
Customer service is phenomenal. They respond quickly and are very helpful.
Also, re: Zager Guitar Strings……a friend introduced me to Zager last year. Prior to that, I hadn’t played in many years. I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to play with ease without pain or discomfort.
I highly recommend this wonderful family business.

So far the purchase and shipping has been flawless. Still waiting on backorder for the BOGO guitar. The ZAD80CE Solid Cedar/Rosewood Acoustic Electric Smaller "OM" Size Pro Series that I received is an awesome guitar. My previous go to had been a Taylor GS-Mini. I am in love with the fit and finish on this guitar. The addition of the Fishman electronics make it easy to dial in for either fingerstyle or strumming. The off gassing of the poly finish is the only complaint. I am sure that with time that will disappear. I am already noticing it diminishing in odor. Again the playability the sound and the finish have caused me no regrets to this purchase. I find myself playing it for almost an hour nightly. Thank-you to you and your team for a fantastic product.

I recently purchased a ZAD900CE and for reasons I won't get into here, I had to return it. It certainly wasn't because I didn't like the guitar. I loved the sound, playability and looks.
When I returned it, an easy process, I realized I had left my guitar strap in the case! It has sentimental value to it. In desperation I wrote Dennis and ask if there was any way I could get it back. I could only hope for a responce. After all, I did just return the guitar.
Dennis got back to me right away and said, "no problem!"
This kind of customer service is something we rarely see these days. I would recommend this company to anyone considering a guitar. They make a great product and stand behind their policies.
again Dennis. I hope to do business again in the future. Thanks

I saw this used ZAD 50 guitar at Guitar Center (not a dealer for Zager which can be purchased online). I stopped by Guitar Center for several weeks, played the guitar and really liked it. This is a used Zager ZAD 50, which is 10 years old, but it sounds new and is very comparable to the higher-priced Martin Guitars that are for sale at Guitar Center. I have osteoarthritis and pinched nerves in my neck, which makes daily tasks a challenge for me due to the pain and weakness in my arms and hands. I am also recovering from a work-related concussion. I am learning guitar again, and the Zager is very comfortable and easy to press the strings. I can practice and play for hours, which helps me deal with my daily stress from an injury I received in the classroom while teaching students with special needs. I purchased the Zager used after the price dropped. I could not afford a new Zager guitar, but I will definitely buy one in the future if I ever wear this one out from playing and practicing. Thanks, Zager, for making an improved, comfortable guitar that people like me can play easily! Not to mention how phenomenal it sounds.

70 yrs old, left handed been playing since high school. Saw ads re ez play; read reviews about zager guitars. Recently received mine. Out of the box, tuned it and was surprised how ez it is to play; can bar chord with ease, fret board ez to negotiate. Own takamine and a martin acoustic - this zager is more comfortable to play. ez on my hands, fingers.

Zager Guitars has wonderful communication with its clients discussing with them online any concerns they have about whether their guitars are a good fit for the buyer/player. Their guidance is honest and helpful. The guitar I received is beautiful and easier to play as they promised due to the guitar's design. Free shipping and a surprise guitar case, capo, tuner, humidity gauge and strap along with new strings and picks made the experience joyful. The guitar is a pleasure to play and is very well made.

I purchased the Easy Play E Guitar to go with me on the road. I fell in love with it day one. It’s has a big sound for such a small package. My wait for over a year was well worth it. This hand crafted guitar by Dennis Zager Sr, plays like butter. Plugged in it has even a bigger richer sound. Five Out Of Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My whole experience with Zager guitars has been absolutely great. Fast email response. Fast shipping. Excellent price for an amazing guitar. Have Taylors and Martin guitars and their quality do not even come close to the quality of the Zager that I received. Great Company and great guitars

Excellent product

No I'm good I've bought 4 guitars off you all and they are amazing the quality and sound is on par with all the high end guitars I have played but WOW the play ability is out of this world 🌎 my fingers never hurt like when I played my Taylor's and yes I said played because since I started playing my Zager's the ony time I touched my Taylor's is to move them I absolutely love my Zager's so Thank you for making the best guitar I have ever played.

The guitar got here in great shape. They did a great job and packing it and I’m really impressed with the case. It’s got humidor in it. Let you know that your wooden guitar is not gonna crumble up on you. It’s very cool. The case has keys so you can take it on airplane I’m impressed 100%.

I purchased the ZAD900CE about 3 months. I was initially hesitant because of all the guitars I was considering, I could not hold the Zager in my hands and play it before making the decision. The fact that they offered a full money back guarantee as well as paying to ship the guitar back (if I wasn't satisfied) helped finalize my decision. I am so happy with my ZAD900CE. The guitar is beautiful and sounds so full and rich. The quality is exceptional and it's evident that this was built and designed by someone who knows guitars. I love playing it and I feel like a better guitar player when it's in my hands.
I also want to give a shout out to the customer service. From the moment I ordered to the day I received my guitar, they kept me informed. When I had questions, I sent and an email and they literally responded within an hour.
I can't say enough good things about this company. It you are looking for a guitar, I highly recommend a Zager. You won't be disappointed.

I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the Zager Guitars Company.
I purchased a ZAD900CE Solid Spruce/Rosewood Acoustic Electric AURA Pro series 50th Anniversary Tobacco Sunburst, with a Zager Pro ABS Ultra-Light Molded Case with Digital Humidity System. I have many guitars and nice guitars Strat’s, Tele’s, Gretch, Yamaha’s, and my favorite my 1997 Commemorative issue Alvarez and a few others.
I am so happy with my new Zager, I have never had a guitar that right out of the box with the sweetest sound, easy to play and just quality woods and beautiful inlays along with Grover machine heads, and Fishman Aura Pro programable pre amp. This is the cat’s meow. The pillow touch coated acoustic guitar strings are simply remarkable. The Company insists that you try this instrument and if not, happy they will refund your money and have you ship it back to them free. This instrument comes with a lifetime Warranty. After 56 years Mr. Zager is retiring and his family will continue his world class production.

Dennis thank you for giving me a chance again to become a musician so I can so my grandkids the fun to broaden their dreams and show them how they can become who they are...the guitar I receive was a left handed 80CEOM-LH It was beautiful it felt great looked great and was signed....I was in heaven. I am 69 and never had a good guitar like this...love these guys....

I have played guitar since I was 12 years old. I am now 81. I have owned all of the best Guitars made.
To me those were: the Martin D 28 1950s, the Martin D 35 1967, Gibson I think they’re 45 and the J 200
The Taylor 614 E and their other Guitars with the expression system which never worked properly.
I’ve had a Guild 12 String. Martin and Gibson 12 Strings.
But… I have never had a guitar that plays so easily and as precisely as this instrument. I have the 900 series. Cut away
Solid Spruce top and Rosewood sides and back.
What quickly told me where we were headed with Zager was when Denny picked out the Fishman Aura preamp system!
It’s a real beast. I don’t know if it’s the best in the business, but it certainly would take a lot to beat it.
The guitar sounds amazing,….. Unplugged.
(No, it doesn’t sound like a 1950s D 28 Martin in fact, nothing does, But who’s to say it may sound like that in 50 years?)
Quite honestly, I don’t sit around the campfire singing Kumbaya. So… a guitar that plugs in and sounds incredible was a preamp that does not break down is what I’ve been seeking for years.
Denny found an amazing combination between Fishman, the monarch of Acoustic Sound reinforcement, and Zager Guitars.
His pillow touch or Easy play Strings match perfectly with the Easy Play neck.
Now after 70 years of this, do you think I might’ve figured out why his combination works,… but I Can’t.
Somehow, with his decades of tweaking he, he’s come up with an incredibly different playing guitar
IT PLAYS LIKE SILK!!
So, If you wanna Guitar that outperforms the Martin’s Taylor’s and Gibson’s out there by this one.
Particularly if you are professional like me and practice during the day and then have to perform 3 hours at night,It’s actually easy on the fingers. I don’t know why, but it is.!!
I have owned my 900 series cut away Natural Zager for over a year now.
I sold my Taylor 614 and my J 200 because I knew I would never play them again.
Whatever you choose to do …,,always honor Mother Music❤️🎶

I am beyond thrilled with my Zager ZAD 20 e/n! It is an amazing, beautiful guitar that is allowing me to continue playing with my arthritis in my left hand! And the customer service is spectacular too! In this AI ageI didn’t think there were still businesses where you could actually contact a real person. But Dennis Zager and his staff do offer real service after the sale! Try Zager you will be glad you did!

I love playing my Zager guitar! With other guitars my fingers start hurting and I put the guitar down and don't pick it up for a while and then I start all over again. With the Zager guitar I play it every day because of its playability. I might be getting better!😀

I've come to love Zagers, the guitars and the family that builds them. The Zager family really DOES care that you are happy with the guitar they built. They take your happiness very seriously. It's a personal point of family pride for them. How cool is it to buy a hand built guitar from a person that has sawdust on their sleeves from building it? My CE80 is the best sounding and easiest playing acoustic guitar I've ever owned. The soundboard is so well tuned/balanced that notes above the 12th fret on the high E string are as loud as any open E or A strings played aggressively. Chords with big intervals between notes still have volume balance and harmony. The tuning machines and nut are almost magical. The guitar is so solid that tuning to drop-D only requires the re-tuning of the E string to D. No other strings need retuned as a result of the lower torque on the E string. That is just plain weird.
If I wanted to build my own CE80 I'd have to buy tone wood blanks. The Brazilian rosewood blanks I would need are for sale on StewMac listed for $1750. That's $1750 just to buy some of the wood in my CE80. I only paid $1995 for the guitar... already built. Beautifully
