Support and the team at YunoJuno are professional and very helpful.

I've only been with YunoJuno for the last few weeks but any issues I had, have been dealt swiftly. Good communication and a speedy response. A big shout out to Sara for all her help today.

I've been using YunoJuno since July this year and have had an excellent experience so far. Simon was fantastic in helping me get set up on the platform. He was always responsive, attentive, and made the onboarding process straightforward and stress-free.

The platform itself is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, making it simple to manage contracts, timesheets, and invoicing efficiently.

I also had a query recently which Sara handled brilliantly. She was very easy to reach via chat, responded promptly, and dealt with my enquiry in a professional and helpful manner.

Overall, I've found both the platform and the support team to be excellent, and I'd highly recommend YunoJuno to other freelancers and contractors.

1-star review – Very disappointing experience

Don't apply it's data mining site not for freelancers hopefully with fake reviews. I applied to YunoJuno and was asked to provide my portfolio and information relating to my client, including my client's LinkedIn profile. I have been freelancing since 2019, so I was already surprised to be told afterwards that they are only accepting “senior freelancers” because they are oversubscribed in my discipline. There shouldn't be an option to submit application in my field than if they are oversubscribed.

What concerned me far more was what happened next. My client told me that YunoJuno contacted her and encouraged her to join the platform, apparently offering her a free account and suggesting that she could use the platform to find contractors.

I found this extremely inappropriate and disappointing. I provided my portfolio and client information as part of an application, not with the expectation that my existing client would subsequently be approached by the platform.

From my perspective, this felt like an attempt to solicit an existing client during an application process. If there was no capacity to accept my application, I question why information about my client was required in the first place.

This experience has completely undermined my trust in YunoJuno. Freelancers should be able to provide professional information during an application process without feeling that their client relationships may be used to benefit the platform.

I would strongly advise freelancers to think carefully about what client information they provide during the application process. Very disappointing experience, and certainly not a platform I would recommend based on what happened to me.

I have just started using YunoJuno
and the YJ team have given me great support and customer service they have kept me in the loop all the way especially Mary!

Helped quickly

My experience with YunoJuno’s verification process was extremely frustrating. The platform accepted the ordinary Gmail addresses used by my referees and sent validation requests without displaying any warning. My referee followed the link and pressed the confirmation button, but the status remained pending.

Only after several emails to support was I told that Gmail addresses are not accepted and only business-domain email addresses are permitted. If Gmail is prohibited, the form should reject it immediately instead of wasting the applicant’s and referee’s time.

Many independent professionals and self-employed people in Ukraine legitimately use Gmail and do not have corporate email addresses. A freelance platform should recognize this and offer alternative verification methods, such as contracts, invoices, business registration documents or proof of completed work.

No practical alternative was offered. The onboarding process is poorly designed, inflexible and unnecessarily exhausting. I cannot recommend YunoJuno until these requirements are stated clearly and made fairer for independent professionals.
