Pathetic experience with subscription
To much of adds are showing now days

I hate this platform . Even if you subscribe to the ad version, ads appear every few minutes and disturb the experience. We understand that with an ad supported plan some ads will come, but in this OTT it’s much worse compared to other platforms. Such a waste,I already canceled my subscription and won’t subscribe again.

Technical issues: Many movies I chose out of the screen display list could not be opened when pressed the ‘Watch’ icon. It simply freezes oftentimes although some opens sporadically.
Very poor customer support: They said the technical problems would be solved. I sent them a video of the issue via email, but was not responded for two weeks. Telephone calls got cut off after ten minutes of holding.
Cancellation of subscription not allowed: Out of total dissatisfaction with the service, I repeatedly sent email requests for cancellation of the service, but they didn't allow it.
Quite disappointed.

This is a scamming company. Do not purshase a subscription please. This is the second time they have deducted money from my account. I once had a subscription for 1 year in 2020. Then I cancelled it. Last year 2024 they out of the blue just decided to deduct money from my account and now in 2025 it is the same. I have tried emailing them but the responses did not adress the issue and talked about something else. It felt like I was talking to Chat-GPT but when it was in beta. Logging into my account it does not say that I have any active subscription either. This is a scam, please no one ever give them your card details. I am going with this to the authorities and also I have told my bank to block all charges from this scam company. I have also filed a complaint of unauthorized withdrawal. I AM TELLING EVERYONE AGAIN, THIS PEOPLE ARE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!

The Slowest Streaming app ever. I watch BBC, Channel 4, U Tv, on streaming. But this is the worst. Wait constantly for program to load. You can tell they have not invested in their IT infrastructure, or have amateurs running this. Great programs you want to watch but get fed up waiting.

After cancelling, I was billed just for opening the app once. Customer support dismissed it as something I did and later closed the case saying I hadn’t replied. I still can’t take my card off the account or delete it. The whole thing felt exploitative and careless with customers. Deeply disappointed and done with this service.

Totally fraud. Auto renewel subscription. App look dodgy during subcription cancellation process. And unable to cancel subcription easily.

Too much English in their serials

Not even 1 star , I watched a movie but so many scenes are cut in the movie, next my mom wants to watch a Tamil movie named madurai veeran , the poster is same movie but playing is other movie, I fast forward to check but it's an old movie they added in the name of new movies, not only that but many movies, wat a scam, zee5 working great for scamming keep it up u will get large customers,

Too expensive, I prefer jio hotstar and sony atleast no ads. One yearly affordable price. With them more choices. Zee 5 had time to sort their logo out etc but made it expensive for us.

There are such amazing movies & shows on zee5 which I want to watch but unfortunately it’s accessibility to uk is horrible

Tried connecting it to tv or home projector. It needs a big time upgrade & good IT ppl. Google , browser
YouTube's , Netflix , prime video each hv a good connection and you can easily connect through, phone, tv or a home tv projector.
Iam not a big fan of Netflix.
Zee5 has been taking on such good movies and shows to show but it’s a shame we cannot view it. Even with a subscription. Very bad technical construction.
Plz improve it. We love zee5 and want to watch it. Which isn’t the case at the moment in 2025.
It’s non accessible, even doordarshan channel worked better than it in its own time.

Hope this feedback is reached to zee5 and they work on better connectivity so ppl all over the world can watch it with a subscription atleast!

They are far behind any other streaming platform. It would be better for them to sell it to Jio and enjoy the money received, else it is not worth a penny.
They keep running the same ad for five times on the same episode. In a case you pause the episode for even 5 seconds they will run three ads again for a paid subscriber. Don’t pay for the subscription.

Live TV on Amazon fire stick does not work on the Amazon fire stick no way to contact Zee5 in UK hasn't got any phone number or email address also contact page on don't send any messages.

Also it keeps buffering middle of steaming Zee5 don't want know.

I left a review before about how bad the service is to watch old program. I stopped using Zee5 but thoght I should get some thing for paying the year subcribtion.

I started watching Ajit new movie it took more than a hour to watch 28 min of picture got fed up a closed the browser.

I hope the offcom will stop these kind of inferior OTT Platfrom to trade in UK.

If you download zee5 app u can watch all programs they say but now asking for money.Now I will uninstall zee 5 app.All zee 5 stupids.Now we cannot watch anything fully in zee 5 app. Seeing zee5 app is a waste so uninstall it.

I had purchased Zee5 Global plan from Sweden. Due to poor quality of content, I did not use the plan at all.

After one year, Zee5 auto-renewed and charged the fee to my credit card. They did not send any notification about auto-renewal. Neither before nor after charging my card. Their customer service refused to issue refund even though I exercised my right of withdrawal as per Sweden consumer rights within 5 days of the charge.

Beware of subscribing to Zee5 or Zee5 Global.
