Flawless matte finish once applied correctly
I’m updating my review to 5 stars. My first attempt turned out terrible because I made a mistake during the application: I sprayed the phone directly instead of the skin itself. The back glass of the S26 Ultra seems to react badly when sprayed this way, causing that uneven finish.
However, on my second try, I strictly followed the instructions and sprayed the skin instead. The matte render is now absolutely flawless!
Pro-tip for the S26 Ultra (and likely other phones): Don't be stingy with the spray on the adhesive side of the skin—it makes adjusting the positioning so much easier. Also, start applying it from the camera lens side first to get the best alignment for the rest of the phone!

Sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the finish, but there is an important point we need to clarify here.
Our Transparent Matt skin is a **wet-install product** and needs to be applied using water/application solution. It shouldn’t be applied dry like our standard vinyl finishes.
If it’s applied dry, the adhesive can make contact with the glass unevenly and trap tiny pockets of air, which can create exactly the cloudy, blotchy or “limescale” appearance you’ve described. This isn’t how the skin should look once correctly wet-installed and fully dried.
The wet-install method allows the skin to float into position and helps remove the air and moisture from underneath before the adhesive sets. It can also take a little time after installation for any remaining moisture and cloudiness to completely disappear.

Very disappointing experience – no tracking, conflicting information and still no delivery
I placed order on August 5. The order status changed to “On its way” on August 6, but I never received any tracking information.
When I contacted customer service, I was first told that all Z Fold 8 skins had been dispatched on the Friday following the pre-orders because of delays caused by high demand. In a later reply, I was instead told that my order had been sent on the exact day I placed it, August 5. These two explanations are obviously inconsistent.
I was also told that there is no tracking because I did not select tracked shipping, meaning there is now no way for me to know where the parcel is or even verify what happened after dispatch.
It is now August 26, three weeks after my order, and I still have received nothing. Their own shipping page says international customers should contact them if an order has not arrived within three weeks, so I am now exactly at that point.
I understand that international shipping can be delayed, but the combination of a long delay, no tracking, no useful shipping updates and contradictory information about when the order was actually sent has made this a very poor experience.
At this point I have very little confidence that I will receive the order at all. I will wait until the maximum timeframe they gave me has passed and then request a refund if it still hasn’t arrived.
Based on this experience, I would not order from XtremeSkins again and I would not recommend them to others.

We’re really sorry about the experience you’ve had with this order, and we completely understand why the conflicting information has caused frustration.
To clarify what happened, the Z Fold 8 skins were on pre-order and we experienced a short delay due to the volume of orders received. Your order was processed in our system on 5th August, which is why you may have been told that date, but the Z Fold 8 pre-orders were physically dispatched together once they were ready. We apologise that this wasn’t explained clearly in our previous replies.
Regarding tracking, our standard international postage option is unfortunately untracked, so there isn’t a tracking number we can provide retrospectively. We appreciate that this is particularly frustrating when a parcel is delayed, as neither you nor us can see its progress once it has entered the postal network.
Three weeks is longer than we would normally expect, so we certainly don’t expect you to simply keep waiting indefinitely. Please contact us with your order number and we’ll get this resolved for you. If the parcel has been lost in transit, we’ll make sure you’re not left out of pocket.
We’re genuinely sorry that the communication from us added to what was already a frustrating delivery delay. Regardless of what’s happened in transit, we should have been clearer and more consistent with the information we gave you.

Thanks for your feedback. Our skins are made from premium vinyl and are designed to be thin so they conform closely to the device without adding unnecessary bulk.
It's also worth mentioning that some of our finishes are naturally thinner and more flexible than others. Textured finishes such as Carbon Fibre, for example, tend to feel thicker and more substantial, while some of our smoother finishes are much thinner.
The vinyl is durable once installed, but during application it can tear if it's stretched or pulled too firmly, particularly around narrow sections and cut-outs. A little gentle heat from a hairdryer can make these areas much easier to work with.

I recently ordered the Macbook protective skin. After attempting to re-apply the material ripped. Unless you have a great eye for lining up the edges i would NOT buy.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you thought the product itself seemed decent, but sorry to hear you struggled with the installation.
Just to clarify, we do provide **step-by-step MacBook installation videos** on our website showing how to correctly align and apply the different sections of the skin. MacBook skins are large pieces of vinyl, so we definitely recommend watching the fitting video before starting and taking your time with the initial alignment.
The vinyl can be carefully repositioned during installation, but once a large section has been firmly applied, pulling it back too quickly or with too much force can stretch or tear the material.
We appreciate the feedback and will look at ways we can make our installation guidance even more obvious before fitting.

Shrinking making it a 3 month product
If it was half the price would be 2 stars.
2 months after purchase the skin has shrunk. This has caused several issues:
- visually the side stickers have a big gap
- side sticker has started coming off which leaves a sharp edge to the touch.
- the thin part of the back sticker is coming off because it has shrunk. I expect to have to remove the back sticker within weeks.
I have had plenty of skins before this is the first time I have experienced shrinking and it is critical to longevity.

You're correct that some of our patterned and printed vinyls are cut from a larger repeating design. This means the exact positioning of the pattern can vary slightly from the product image depending on where your individual skin is cut from the sheet. The overall design and material are the same, but pattern placement can differ from skin to skin.

Ich habe mit dem Kundenservice Kontakt gehabt und xtremeskins hat mir kostenfrei neue skins zugeschickt. Alternativ hätte ich auch das Geld zurück bekommen können.
Ursprüngliche Bewertung:
Skin geht schon nach 2 Wochen an den Enden und dann der Kamera ab. Habe mir ein transparenten Skin für das Google Pixel 10 Pro bestellt. Die Anbringung war sehr schwer, da man sehr genau arbeiten muss. Es gibt keine Schablone oder Anbringhilfe. Die Folie für die Ränder war nicht passgenau zugeschnitten, sodass ich selber noch was abschneiden musste. Vom Kundenservice habe ich keine Antwort auf meine Mail bekommen.

Our skins are precision-cut for each specific device, so you shouldn’t need to trim any part yourself. Clear skins can also be a little more challenging to install than our standard vinyls, particularly around the edges and camera area.

Thanks for your feedback, and we're sorry you were concerned when you opened your package.
The skin is intentionally folded for shipping as it's the only way to send it in one continuous piece without introducing a join. The vinyl we use is designed to cope with this, and the fold will disappear during installation as the material is applied to the device.
If there's any slight crease remaining, applying a little gentle heat with a hairdryer while fitting the skin will help it relax and conform perfectly.
