I recently purchased the Satin Gold skin from Extreme Skins for my MacBook Pro M4, and overall, I’m quite pleased with its appearance and quality. The finish is elegant and professional, adding a refined and distinctive touch to the device. The precision of the cut is excellent—the skin fits the MacBook beautifully and gives it a clean, tailored look.

However, I did notice one concern after about two to three weeks of use. The edges of the vinyl skin are quite sharp—most likely due to the laser cutting process—and unlike a beveled edge, this sharpness can lead to some early wear, particularly around the corners. This is not due to incorrect application; I followed the installation instructions carefully, and the skin was applied correctly from the start.

The skin itself feels durable and seems built to last, but the sharp edge design does contribute to faster wear in high-contact areas. It would be great if future versions could feature a slightly softer or more tapered edge to prevent this kind of issue.

That said, I still think it’s a great product in terms of aesthetics and build, and I’d consider purchasing another one once this skin begins to show more noticeable signs of wear. I’d also be curious to know if other users have experienced the same issue or found certain finishes to be less prone to edge wear.

In summary, a stylish and well-crafted skin that enhances the look of the MacBook, with just one area that could benefit from a slight design improvement.

I ordered a skin for my phone from Xtremeskins™ and was mostly happy with the experience. The design options are fantastic and fitting it was straightforward. While the quality is impressive, I had some trouble with edge wraps staying on with a case. Overall, great customer service and fast shipping. Would buy again!

The design is nice.

The back is about 2mm too short.

The thins strips of material around the cut-outs failed very quickly, first on the camera lens section and then around the aerial on the top of the phone. Lasted about a fortnight before I had to get rid.

Great that you can select different appearances and colours for front, rear, buttons, and palm rest rather than a single colour scheme.
Skins seem thicker than others I've used, so take a bit more manipulation around edges, but stick well.

So I placed an order on 24/3/25 and as of the 30/3/25 I'm still waiting for the order to be dispatched. according to shop app it's already been delivered. There's no way of tracking your order. I paid delivery 1 to 3 days. My order is no where to be seen. Iv sent 3 emails and not one of them has been replied to by customer service. I asked for a refund on postage witch hasn't been replied to. Obviously because my order hasn't arrived in the allcated time. Pretty much overall appalling service. Won't be ordering anything in the future from this company and I'll do my very best to share this review with as many people possible so they don't fall in the same situation. And I'll be honest if it takes a bad review to get a response from this company it just shows there level of customer care if they can't even be bothered to reply to my emails in the first instance.

I bought two wraps - buy one, get one free - just to give you sense of value because it's terrible quality.
It was absolute faff to get clear wrap, looks terrible and I cannot return it as it is used now. I guess if you not satisfied then you have no option to return. Unless you make a judgement before putting it on.

I bought 2 of them for my Galaxy 24 FE. First of all I thought it's some kind of very thin case. Because it isn't entirely clear from the first few sentences of its intro nor from the limitem pictures.Let's say that's my bad. I was lazy. On top of all this it doesn't even fit correctly.

Fast shipping to Canada, very good quality. I really like it covers all surface unlike some other brands just top, trackpad and bottom. I hope it will shrink through the time get smaller and exposed edges. Looks great on my MacBook Pro.

After an initial issue with my order, I got in touch and XtremeSkins couldn’t have been more helpful. They sent a replacement, next day delivery and the product is great!

Fits perfectly, and is high quality - easily on par with a very well known - but much more expensive - Canadian equivalent...

After reading some reviews, I decided to try it for my S25U, I ordered it and it was shipped very quickly. The quality of the product is very good and it is easy to apply. There were some discrepancies with the color, but the customer support worked very well. I am satisfied and recommend it to everyone.

Bottom line up front. The pictures on the website do not represent accurately the skin colors as received. In short the website's pictures are lighter than the actual skins.

I initially ordered a cream color skin for a MBP 16" where upon receipt the skin is a sickly off yellow color. Given that the skin is likely unique in providing edge protection for the body of the MBP, I ordered a second skin in titanium color. But that skin is dark gray not even close to what is shown on the website.

To date I have spent close to $100 in skins and have yet to apply either one given my disappointment. I'm not going to throw more money away on another order in hopes of getting a skin that matches expectations.

[Update] Per the response from Xtremeskins I reached out to support but unfortunately there has been no response, thus far no possibility of any resolution.

I hadn't ordered from Xtremeskins for a long time but as I got a new phone, thought I would protect it without a bulky case. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong skins for my phone so emailed to see if I could swap them for the correct ones.

The customer service I received was absolutely second to none - I had an immediate response (within an hour of submitting a form) and it was resolved immediately. Super super impressed and will be ordering from Xtremeskins for many years to come.
