By mistake I ordered the DVD of a Criterion release. When I realised my error I re-ordered the Blu Ray.I contacted WOW HD several times to ask them to cancel the DVD. They never replied to several e-mails over two days and went ahead and shipped both the DVD and the Blu Ray. I will never use this terrible company again because of their awful customer service. I am disabled and unable to return the unwanted item which has left me nearly £30 out of pocket.

I orded a blu-ray box. Have now waited for 62 days and still now parcel from them? When contacting them it takes them two days to answer for them? Customer services is very bad! You don't know who is answer your mail? Am so tired of there bad service! I have askt to get my money back, but they say i have to wait 60 days before the can do anything? What kind of policy is that? When order they say 8-15 days delivery! This is a lie... It is impossible for them to deliver in 8-15 days! Don't even go here to buy anything! Warning! Very cheap and good enough... until you have a problem. And read the reviews, there's a better than average chance of this. I had packages shipped to the wrong location, a location that I had deleted from their database months prior. Yet somehow their system resurrected it and decided to use that as my default address instead of my actual default. When I discovered their error immediately after ordering and requested an address change straight away, they didn't respond until many days later saying they couldn't do anything because they had already shipped the items.

Ik heb een stuk of acht Blu-Ray's gekocht. Opera's van Deutsche Grammophon. De blu-ray's hebben nog geen jaar gespeeld. Nu komt er telkens de vermelding de de Blu-ray niet gefinaliseerd is en dus niet meer kan afgespeeld worden. Zijn het dan vervalsingen of kopies? Aankoop was nog bij CDWOW. Ik heb hiervoor een mail gestuurd naar Wow HD maar geen antwoord. Op andere spelers kreeg ik dezelfde vermelding.

No customerservice at all.

I ordered an item and mistakenly ordered a wrong region bluray. Emailed within 15 min of ordering to cancel my order. No response for 3 days. On the 4th day i get a message stating my order is shipped. Will never order here again.

Heb nooit een probleem gehad.Maar nu een 5 cd-box besteld.Als deze uit de States komt , moet ik dan iets extra betalen bij levering ?Iemand ervaring hier mee ?

nooit geen problemen, het duurt alleen wat langer (8 tot 15 dagen)voordat de bestelling binnen is.Laatst kon een cd niet geleverd worden binnen de gestelde termijn en werd het geld netjes terug gestort!

In augustus een Zappa-box besteld -tegen zeer scherpe prijs.. Is binnen 2 weken zonder problemen geleverd

Over the past 10+ years I have probably bought half of my music collection via this store (300 +), first being cdwow and later rebranded to wowhd. Due to all the negative reviews here, which I am not disputing, I feel the need to share my experience.

In general the main reason for me to continue buying here are the low prices, enormous range and overall reliability. Apparently a couple of years back the company struggled after a takeover, which at the time also affected the web store, but in the past years this seems to have settled down.

Pros:
- good prices incl shipping
- huge range to choose from
- orders have always arrived
- Less hassle and no ridiculous shipping costs for NL customers compared to other major webstores

Cons:
- Average delivery time of 2 weeks (some times exceeded a month
- Packaging is indeed cheap and not too well protected against careless handling, which has resulted in some cracked jewel cases. Most do get there in one piece.

All in all I feel the pros significantly outweigh the cons especially considering the competition in my geographic region.

3 lp's besteld maar tot op heden niks vernomen en mijn emails worden ook niet beantwoord.
Ik lees sommige mensen met positieve reacties en zodoende toch maar geprobeerd maar nu na 4 maanden nog niks ontvangen of gehoord... Echt belachelijk dat dit kan en mag laten gebeuren :(.

Ordered 'NEW' Blu-ray, it will be the first and last time I do.

FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU, FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON ME!

I did research WOWHD for reviews beforehand and was concerned with some of the feedback but I really wanted this film and
it was cheaper than ordering through ebayuk, now I know why!

Item arrived in about 11 days in an undamaged adequate thin'ish brown ribbed package, not as good as a padded envelope imo.

Blu-ray was shrink wrapped. Upon opening the transparent outer sleeve is totally wrinkled, looks terrible, something I've never experienced with shrink wrapped items from retailers in the UK.

At the bottom of the spine some of the plastic has snapped off.
Now baring in mind this was sealed but there is no broken plastic to be found, very suspicious.

Now I notice the paper cover is protruding out quite a bit above the transparent sleeve. The front top edge of the paper cover has several small tears and scuffs. The disc itself has a finger mark on it, though does play ok.

Do they expect customers to believe this is 'NEW' and not 'USED' and re-sealed?

I contact WOWzersHolyDishonest??? letting them know my thoughts attaching several photo's. I inform them I will be leaving
feedback on trustpilot and bluray.com if the matter is not resolved to my satsifaction.

They reply within 24-48hrs offering me a measly 10% refund for the Blu-ray case damage or I can return it to the USA address given for an exchange or full refund.
They do not even acknowledge or mention the small tears to the paper cover or that I have been sent a 'USED' item even if in error!

Now there is no way I am going to returm the item at my own risk which could go missing in the postal system, I would have to pay the postage and it would take up to 2 weeks or 4 weeks for an exchange to arrive.

Under protest I reluctantly accepted the 10% refund.

LET THIS BE A WARNING TO OTHER POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

Ik heb tot een jaar geleden een paar keer enkele cd´s besteld bij Wow HD. Wel steeds zoveel mogelijk los van elkaar, zodat er over het pakketje geen extra douanekosten worden gerekend. (Zie hiervoor de site van de belastingdienst.) Cd's werden steeds keurig binnen 3 weken geleverd.
Maar ik lees hier enkele negatieve reviews, dus pas wel goed op. Vink bijvoorbeeld de extra verzekeringsservice aan bij de bestelling, of bestel met een creditcard zodat je bestelling extra verzekerd is, mocht deze niet geleverd worden.

Cd in februari besteld, en nog niets ontvangen. Bij het sturen van mails krijg ik steeds een standaardantwoord, zonder echt specifiek te antwoorden.
Vroeger nooit problemen gehad, maar nu blijkbaar wel.

Tsja wat kan ik zeggen. Binnen een week beide cd's geleverd.

Pas besteld en binnen 2 weken was mijn bestelling keurig binnen! Erg fijn en scheelt een boel geld! Ben superblij met wowhd

Ordered by mistake the same CD twice, stupid of course. However noticed my mistake wihin an hour and asked to cancel the order or change my order to another cd. This happened LAST SUNDAY may 13. Today, may 15 I received an answer that the CD was already in the mail and if I want a refund I can return it TO THE US..... (from Holland). Of course this company will have to know that this NOT a solution since the costs of sending it back will most likely be higher than the value of the CD.
LOUSY SERVICE. Never buy a CD from CD wow again.

Soms duurt het echt wel lang voor de cd komt, 4 tot 6 weken. Maar, de prijs is het wachten waard!

Oplichting pur sang, bestellen en betaald en niet geleverd krijgen. Alle mailtjes worden ontvangen en niet beantwoord. Bedrijf heeft nieuwe eigenaar maar opereerd onder dezelfde bedrijfsnaam. Ze schrijven zie maar dat je je geld terug krijgt, maar niet bij ons. En het gaat om een bedrag van €19,90
Ben nu al 4 jaar bezig mijn bestelling te ontvangen of mijn geld terug te krijgen. Ze blokkeren me nu. Dievenpraktijken en dat terwijl ik voor meer dan € 1500,- als bestelhistorie heb bij dit bedrijf. U bent gewaarschuwd als u hier besteld

Heb nooit mijn cd's ontvangen, welke wel betaald waren, en ook nooit geld terug gekregen. Klantenservice gaf, overigens pas na meerdere mails vanuit mijn kant, aan dat zij hier nou eenmaal niets aan konden doen en weigerden mijn klacht serieus te nemen. Begrijpelijk dat er af en toe iets mis gaat met een levering, maar een klacht van een klant mag op z'n minst serieus behandeld worden.
