Woojer - Born to Feel Arvostelua 

J'avoue ne pas comprendre tous les avis négatifs.

Je suis pourtant difficile niveau son étant un musicien exigeant. J'ai eu l'occasion de tester le Subpac il y a quelques années qui est considéré comme la référence dans le domaine des sub basses haptiques.

Je trouvais le Subpac vraiment excellent pour la prod et le mixage ou simplement pour apprécier encore plus un morceau mais j'y voyais personnellement 3 inconvénients, le prix bien trop élevé, le faite de devoir rester assis appuyé contre le dossier de la chaise, ainsi que sentir des vibrations dans le dos ce qui n'arrive jamais dans un concert ou en boite de nuit.

Le Woojer strap edge corrige tout ces problèmes pour 1/5ème du prix d'un Subpac... En concert les basses se ressentent dans la cage thoracique et plus précisément dans le plexus solaire. C'est exactement l'endroit ou je place le Woojer strap edge.

Je l'utilise avec un transmetteur bluetooth qui split le signal afin de pouvoir utiliser le Woojer et un casque entièrement sans fil en bluetooth aptX.

J'ai eu l'occasion de le tester avec plusieurs casques mais il n'y a qu'avec un Sony extra bass ou j'ai ressenti une cohérence et une complémentarité parfaite.

Si le casque manque de basses c'est beaucoup moins immersif et notre cerveau nous rappel qu'il n'est pas logique de ressentir des basses qu'on entend pas ou qu'on entend peu.

Ensuite il faut bien régler le volume de la musique avec l'intensité des vibrations pour que l'ensemble soit crédible et vraiment immersif.

Si le fichier audio est de bonne qualité (Flac) et que le lecteur audio ou les convertisseurs sont aussi de bonne qualité, quand on ferme les yeux on se croirait vraiment en plein concert.

Je trouve honnêtement que c'est mieux que le Subpac pour seulement 130€.

Ce n'est pas quelque chose que j'utilise très souvent mais dès que j'en ai besoin je suis bien content de l'avoir et je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat, bien au contraire.

This was purchased for me as a gift, but is far to expensive for a gimmick product. They tell you that it will take an undisclosed amount of time to get you the product, so my mother wanting to gift it to me for my birthday purchased it ahead of time to make sure it would arrive. Now this overpriced gimmick of a product is still sealed, unused, and because we are outside of their 30 day window they will not consider any returns, and keep forwarding me advice on how to get this product that I explained I have zero interest in working on my computer. I asked to have this considered by a higher manager, as their return policy is run by a 3rd party online return website/app, and they declined that request and once again sent me advice on how to "set it up" on my computer. I am not opening it, I do not want it, your product is honesty...stupid...and I tried to be professional and ask for due consideration and was met with a literal joke of a customer service experience. Oh and left with a stupid vest in a sealed box.

This company may mean well, but they seem to be completely inept in terms of their operations. I ordered a Woojer Strap (the $99 item). The tax was another approximately $10, and the shipping was another $10-11 or so. So total order cost was $121 and change. Upon placing my order was informed that it would be a few days until they ship it out. Maybe 4 days later, I received an email from them telling my order had (finally) shipped, and to expect it to arrive in another 5-7 days (since they apparently are only willing to ship it ground). Long story short, the day it's supposed to arrive, I get an email from them telling me they're sorry, but they shipped me the wrong item, and to therefore NOT expect it to arrive today after all. Mind you, this is a week, maybe 10 days after my original order. Instead, they promised to send it by FedEx Air on their dime, and to expect it in another four days or so. So I finally get the thing, I do my best to follow their directions to set it up, and the damn thing doesn't even work. The button you're supposed to press to power it up wouldn't move - certainly there was no kinesthetic clue that it had been powered on. I contacted them and shared with them the problem, and they told me I should pack it up with all the original packaging and send it back to them via FedEx. So I did all that - I ran down to Walmart with this and had the FexEx station send it out. A week or more later, I finally received confirmation from them that they had received the item. By this time, I had already looked them up here on Trustpilot, and found they have just a horrible reputation with their customers. That suggested to me that I have no reason to trust that they can do anything right. For this reason, I was sure to ask for a refund, not a replacement. To be fair, I should add that my email contacts with them were reasonable and cordial. That part, they could get right.

Just another useless product to make some people money that is extremely bad for the environment.
I don't understand how I get preached to everyday to reduce carbon output but on the other hand morons are allowed to make crap like this.

Woojer seems to be a legitimate company despite all the negative reviews.

I bought a Woojer Vest Edge on day 1. I spent the entire night listening to music and trying it out.
Initial Review
+ Feels amazing when it works. It feels like you've got a new sense almost. You've got the monitor for vision, the headphones for sound, and the vest for feels.
- It requires charging
- It's really particular about which song it likes. Feels gimmicky

day 2.
First thing I did was gaming. Here I found the vest was once again really underwhelming.
- Can't tell left vs right
- most Apex Legends sounds don't activate the vest
- There's some audio latency that effects my performance in-game

After googling I found this.
It turns out, the Woojer Vest has a lot of latency, even with an aux cable instead of bluetooth.

Woojer actually has a guide to manually compensate for the latency. Once that was implemented I found that music was much more impactful and in-sync with my ears.
Large improvement in the number of songs the Vest works with. From roughly 15% to 30% of songs.
I spent the rest of the day listening to my playlist and filtering the good songs from the bad.

day 3.
On day 3 I come up with the idea of listening to a frequency sweep test in VLC media player to identify if the left/right channels are separated or not.
By accident I notice that the Vest shakes itself to pieces when 45hz -> 55hz frequencies are used.
"My Vest kept flipping between "too intense" and "I can barely feel it". After reducing the 50hz volume by 22db, all my songs feels much better and more consistent and I haven't felt the need to adjust the intensity level in hours." - paraphrasing myself

day 4-6.
I spent this time re-filtering my playlist.
With the 50hz peak taken care of, my music went from roughly 30% being improved by the Vest to a massive 70%.
At this point the Vest starts becoming a required part of my audio setup. I feel sad when it runs out of battery and constantly play random music or sounds/games just to see how it feels.

day 7-8.
I found a way to tune headphones without having a frequency response curve.
This site has an audio file that plays all frequencies at the same (human) volume.
So with some EQ software, I can simply play this file many many times and tune my EQ so all parts of the file sound the same.

After I finished with my headphones, I got an idea.
"Why don't I hold the Vest speakers against my ear, and tune the transducers using this cool new method I found?"

After hours of precise tuning, I got an almost perfectly flat volume response between 10hz and 250hz.

So, did it improve the sound?
Yep! Though it wasn't as ground breaking as the other two.

After doing another pass over my playlists I found that roughly 80% of my songs pass the "Woojer Vest makes this better" requirement.

That's as far as I've gotten now. The vest is far better than I expected and I highly recommend anyone that wants one and has the money go out and buy one!
I've got HD 600's, DT 990's, ATH-M50x's, WH-1000XM4's (and tried HiFiMan Edition XS's, the best audiophile headphones according to RTINGS), and to put it simply, if I only had £500, I would buy a Woojer Vest and some £120 headphones. NOT a £500 audiophile pair.

It's definitely an improvement, and it frustrates me that Woojer have this perfect product but don't bother to deal with the latency and frequency response by updating their Vest's software or offering an app.

Extra Note.
Just found this while searching around. YOU CAN OPEN THIS THING WITH A ZIPPER.
Everything in this vest is completely user inspectable and replaceable. If the battery dies or a transducer breaks (or they release new higher quality transducers), You can just fix yours without any tools or experience.
Damn that's heart-warming for me. I guess I just watch too many right to repair videos and assumed every new product would be impossible to repair/enhance.

Conclusion.
The Woojer Vest is an awesome product, with some absolutely TERRIBLE default settings.
If you're technical enough to understand what I wrote then I highly recommend purchasing one.
If you didn't understand anything then I can't recommend it until they change things.

PS. It also gets warm, but is very comfortable.

J'ai acheté la veste woodjer edge et j'en suis ravie ! Je ne sais pas pour le strap mais la veste offre de super sensation. Niveau musique, on se croirait en concert. Les basses traversent le corps pour une sensation vraiment très intéressante. J'ai pris cette veste surtout pour le jeu vidéo et la, c'est vraiment le pied ! Je suis actuellement sur le jeu back4blood et, pour ce qui connaissent, tout devient plus vivant. Les tires, les coups, les apparitions de boss tout devient énorme ! Bref tout dépendra de votre utilisation mais pour je jeu vidéo c'est un vrai plus ! Pour le moment le seul bémol c'est qu'il n'est pas compatible avec le méta quest 2.... Pour finir même si les réactions du début de la pub woodjer sont exagéré, a ma première utilisation je n'ai pu m'empêcher de lâcher un whoua !!! Un produit que je conseille pour le jeu vidéo en particulier. Merci woodjer

J'ai acheté le woojer strap car le produit avait l'air pas mal au vu de leur pub.
Une fois reçu quelle déception j'ai eu en l'essayant ! Je m'attendais à ce que les vibrations parcourent tous le corps. Mais en fait non, pas du tout ! C'est comme si on avait mis une petite enceinte et que seul les basses passaient ! Vraiment inutile surtout à se prix ! Je l'ai renvoyé directement ! Ah oui pour le renvoyer aussi bonne chance, parce que leur bouton ne fonctionne pas ! Tu dois chercher un petit moment avant de trouver comment faire ! Ils essayent de nous décourager !

Battery will not hold a charge. With a full charge, if I leave the vest for a week, the battery life only lasts 15 minutes. This is really frustrating because I have to charge it fully for 1+hrs whenever I want to use it.

Reçu comme cadeau d'anniversaire et résultat plus que décevant. Malgré différents réglages et positionnements variés, il n'y a rien d'extraordinaire ni d'exceptionnel et pourtant au vu de la publicité j'attendais beaucoup de cet appareil.
Bref une belle com pour un appareil sans grand intérêt actuellement.
Les fameuses sensations haptiques sont inexistantes. Hormis des vibrations sur le plexus ou le côté, il n'y a rien d'autre.
On est très loin des promesses de la publicité.
Je ne me ferai pas avoir une seconde fois, mon casque même sans l'haptique donne de meilleurs résultats.

L'appareil n'offre absolument aucunes sensations, si ce que vous cherchez c'est quelque chose de spécial vous serez déçu. Je l'aurai gardé si son rapport qualité/prix n'était pas si mauvaise, pour un prix aussi cher vous allez aussi être déçus.

Petite note pour ma part : j'ai effectué un renvoi mais le colis a été perdu, j'ai du insister très longtemps avant d'avoir reçu mon argent. D'ailleurs ATTENTION : en cas de retour attendez-vous à payer des frais de livraison.

Pour conclure je dirai que c'est a tester mais :
- vous allez certainement être déçu
- vous allez payer cher pour rien
- vous allez payer 20€ pour avoir décidé de tester leur produit avec les frais de retour que vous allez payer

A bon entendeur, j'aime personnellement tester des objets high-tech, mais pour ce coup c'est plutôt un regret pour ma part.

Wie auch in anderen Bewertungen bereits genannt wurde, zu schwach. Habe es mit mehreren Geräten getestet und sämtliche Tipps wie "laden Sie das Gerät vorher komplett auf" befolgt. War mehr als unterwältigt und rate JEDEM, nicht auf den Hype aufzuspringen.

Kann mir bitte jemand die Retoure Adresse schreiben?
Das ist wirklich sehr nervig. Nirgends steht, wo man das wieder zurückschicken kann, aber wo man es NICHT zurückschicken soll und wenn man anfragt, dann kommt nur eine Rücksendenummer. Die Abwicklung ist wirklich schlecht.

100% Geld zurück? Sehr lustig. 15 Euro bleiben für den Rückversand erhalten. Wahrscheinlich verdienen sie damit ihr Geld. Denn die Produkte sind jetzt nicht wirklich der Bringer.

Ich habe die Weste vor 3 Tagen bekommen und es war nicht gleich liebe auf den ersten Kontakt, weil der Blick passt. Weste sieht edel aus und ist Tadellos verarbeitet.

Mit dem Fühlen braucht es etwas Eingewöhnung und vor allem Übung.

Ganz wichtig ist die Dolby Atoms App bei der X box z.B. Nicht das es auch ohne ginge, aber es geht mit der App soviel besser, das man darauf nicht verzichten kann.

Da die Weste ja mit Tönen arbeitet, braucht es eben auch einen guten Ton, wenn dieser dann auch noch Atmos Dimensionen bekommt, ist das Erlebnis mit der Weste das was ich wollte. Mega

Forza 5 macht richtig Laune und mann ist immer wieder beeindruckt wie hart die Stöße sind, wenn man auf kommt, nach einen Mega Jump.

Auch Wolfenstein macht mega Fun, so könnte man aber die Aufzählung weiter ergänzen.

Die Weste ist jetzt keine Wolljacke, sie lässt sich aber so anlegen, das man auch über Stunden bequem spielen kann. Ob ich das jetzt im Hochsommer machen würde, weiß ich noch nicht.

Man sollte auch die Unterschiedlichen Modi der Weste ausprobieren und über die Profile in der Atmos APP kann man dann ja auch noch Einfluss nehmen.

Bei Musik macht die Weste ja sowieso Spaß, also Live Festival Feeling kommt da leicht auf, ohne das man selber laut hören muss noch ein anderer. Leiser Sound auf dem Köpfhörer und mega Vibe im Body....

Die Weste möchte ich jetzt schon nicht mehr missen.

4 Sterne habe ich wegen ein paar Unklarheiten bezüglich des Akkutausches dem Preis und dem Komfort bei tragen geben, wobei ich auch kein bessere Model kenne was Komfort angeht und die Weste das Gefühl von einem Dreipunkt Gurt vermittelt, wenn sie wirklich fest anliegt.

Also wichtig ist bei der Weste, fest am Körper und Dolby Atmos Sound bzw. das beste Signal was geht....

Dann sei auch hier noch die gute Connectivität erwähnt.

Redmi 9, Mac M1 mini, Fire TV Stick aller generationen Xbox... alles ohne Probleme. Es gibt für alle Quellen die Anschluss Lösung und das ohne Treiber.... Wobei hier noch mal die Atmos App erwähnt sei, macht den Test die West muss mit Atmos.

So genug, ich will mir noch ein paar Impacts von Spielen holen.

Very disappointed ☹️ You get a better experience by lying down, with a Bluetooth speaker on your chest. It’s out of sync with the music and the haptic feedback vibration is more like a phone vibration rather than the sort of frequency vibration you get from bass from a speaker. I was really looking forward to receiving this item, but was very disappointed with the results, especially for the money. If it was £30 to £50, then it would a bit of a fun for gaming I would imagine, but for the money I paid, I expected more of an audiophile experience and this is far from that.

149 EUR für den Vest Strap bezahlt, 134 EUR zurückerstattet bekommen, da ich das Gerät aufgrund Nichtgefallen nach wenigen Tagen zurückgeschickt habe. 15 EUR für den Versand aus den Niederlanden? Abzocke!

This may be the worst product I ever bought.
It completely destroys the music experience.
The quality feels cheap and the company gives all kind of stupid reasons for no refund.

Complete waste of your money.
