Lovely, clean Villa but extremely, poor, poor customer services!
We arrived at the property on a Sunday just before 4pm, didn’t get our door code as promised two days prior, we tried calling the office all morning and afternoon on the Sunday ‘no answer!’
We didn’t get the door code until 5:35pm! It was an absolute shambles after travelling from the UK, driving up from Miami exhausted and to sit outside waiting was an unbelievable experience I wouldn’t want to go through ever again!
Shameful and very rude customer service!

Clean and spacious house, quiet location and water park included in rental. I would do it again.

Do not use Wonder Vacation Homes, the place we stayed at was not cleaned properly and there was a nasty lightening storm that took out the internet and it took them days to sort it out and to follow up sent me a bill for a tv not working even though I could not watch it without the internet being available.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. The listing clearly states “non-smoking,” but the entire house reeked of cigarette smoke from the moment we walked in. The smell was so strong it lingered on all of our belongings, and we are now having to wash everything just to get rid of it. This was especially concerning because we were traveling with a child who has asthma and cannot be around smoke.

The cleanliness of the home was also unacceptable. There was mold in multiple bathrooms, stains on the sheets, and even standing water in one of the tubs upon arrival. The furniture was in terrible condition—broken chairs, a broken table, a damaged dresser, and a main living room couch that was caving in the middle. Overall, the house was far from clean or well-maintained.

The listing photos and description are completely misleading. What is shown online is nothing like what you actually get.

We contacted management immediately about the smoke and mold issues. While someone did come out, all they did was quickly wipe a small section of mold and spray Febreze, which only masked the smell for about an hour. They refused to relocate us—even when we offered to pay the difference—and eventually stopped responding to us altogether.

To make matters worse, management entered the house multiple times without any notice or permission. They simply unlocked the door and walked in. One time, our teenagers were there alone when a staff member walked in unannounced, which understandably frightened them. When confronted, the staff member ran out of the house and suddenly claimed not to speak English, despite previously communicating just fine. After that, we no longer felt safe leaving anyone alone in the house.

It also became clear they were monitoring the door cameras, as they would enter the house within minutes of us leaving.

There were additional issues as well: the bunk beds and trundle bed shown in the listing had no bedding provided, leaving two of our kids without proper blankets. We were also given an insufficient number of towels. Water pressure was inconsistent—one part of the house had strong pressure, while another barely worked.

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience we’ve ever had with a rental property. The management company was rude, unhelpful, and completely unresponsive once problems were reported. I strongly recommend avoiding this property, especially if you are expecting a non-smoking environment.

Wonderful vacation homes is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with! The house that we rented was not at all as it was said it was! The furniture was broken and they had just simply glued it back together. The house was dirty and not properly cleaned and it smelt like smoke! When we reached out to the company, they absolutely would not work with us at all. They were unwilling to allow me to speak with a manager. They were unwilling to refund us and get us into a different house. They were unwilling to work with us in any way. They were very rude when I was able to speak to someone on the phone and they called us liars about the smelling of the smoke. And for days they avoided actually speaking to us on the phone. They were truly terrible to work with. And I recommend that you do not stay at any home that is managed by this company.

Champions Gate is great. The water park is fun and location is not bad. However, upon areiving to our condo, we found it VERY dirty. The floor was covered in grime, hair and crunbs. My husband swept before we even moved our things jn. There was a little water on the floor and when i wiped it with a paper towel, the towel was black! My kids lost a lego piece, so I looked under all the beds to see a ton of trash and old food!! Disgusting.

The internet did not work our enrire stay, preventing us from using our baby monitor. The rental company had terrible communication with this. The night before we were leaving, I washed all our clothes only to find rhe next day the dryer didnt work!! Rental company said "well, it worked when we tested it before check in". Seriously??

I wish I would have googled Wonder Vacations BEFORE booking this place, they have terrible reviews and I would have steered clear

Had to wait several hours to check in. They just started cleaning when we got there. Host finally messaged back that the previous renters left late. Bathtub didn't drain, so we only had 2 not 3 bathrooms for 6 women. Carpet was foul and maybe the worst I had seen. The cleaning was poor at best, but maybe since they were in a hurry, they didn't do as good of a job as usual. Then I got several messages to make sure I submitted a reivew. I did not do that on VRBO because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a one off. Rather than a bad review, I just didn't leave one. Then 1 day after the review period ended, I got hit on my credit card for $137. They have not responded to my question on what that was for.

**Disappointing Experience – Incorrect Charges and Poor Customer Service**

We are extremely disappointed with how our stay was handled.

Shortly after check-in, we reported several issues in writing, including a **broken dining chair**. No photos were sent at that time. While seated for dinner, the chair leg gave way during normal use, causing a family member to fall and injure her arm. Despite this being a pre-existing issue that had already been reported, we were later **charged for the chair**, based on a photograph that was **not taken or sent by us**.

Communication throughout was poor. We repeatedly requested clarification and management input but received delayed, incomplete responses — at one point only being sent a photo with no explanation.

We also paid extra for **pool heating**, which only worked for **two days** of our stay. There was **no maintenance or emergency contact number** provided to report the issue, so it could not be resolved while we were there.

After visiting Florida for over **20 years**, this is the first time we have experienced anything like this. Future customers should be aware that they may be charged for issues they did not cause and may struggle to get clear support when problems arise.

I haven’t even stayed at the property and already having so many issues with them. They have a price on Expedia and then charge your credit card another price. The manger Maria said she would cancel me with no cost whatsoever and she did but the following day, the billed me all over again. It truly is a scam

FRAUDSTER Unfairly deducted $68.10 from our deposit for a toilet which didn't work upon our arrival. I have evidence of this and have disputed with the host however they are not interested.
The property was of poor standard and cleanliness and I wish I left after the first day instead of having this hassle.
Avoid this company

Do not stay at a property managed by this company, Wonder Vacation Homes are a scam. They have kept the full $400 damage deposit claiming that we scratched the stove despite us only using the pots and pans provided in the property. Also claiming we stained two towels even though photos provided of the towels show no stains at all. Tried to raise this with management and despite chasing multiple times have still not been provided with invoices for the repair costs that they have stated they need to charge us in order to repair/replace the items (claiming the stove will cost $333 for a professional clean). Wish I had read the reviews about this company before bookings as if you look online you will see that unfortunately this isn’t an isolated incidence and the company is just truly dreadful.

I want to publicly announce this management company, as my experience has been profoundly negative and detrimental. I entrusted my property to their management, and all I received was abuse, noncompliance, and disrespectful treatment. The company charged disproportionate amounts for minimal repairs, fabricated unnecessary expenses to justify additional charges, and, most seriously, breached the contract and withheld money from the most recent reservations, directly affecting my income as a property owner.Not only did they demonstrate a complete lack of ethics and transparency, but they also displayed deceptive and manipulative behavior toward their customers. The level of rudeness and lack of professionalism with which they serve customers is unacceptable. This company fails to fulfill its duty of management; instead, it exploits the owners' trust to gain undue benefit. My recommendation is clear: do not trust them with your property or your money, because you will end up facing financial losses and a terrible experience.

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with this company. The washer/dryer did not work and after 4 days of trying to reach a manager they finally sent a repair man the 5th day into our vacation. The pool was dirty, trash was left in the unit, there were stains on the carpet, and worst of all, the unit reeked of smoke. I was so disappointed, they agreed to issue a $200 credit for all of the issues and it's been a month and we have not received anything other than our damage deposit back. Please do your research and read the plethora of reviews. I sent photos to Expedia who was very apologetic but the company Wonder Vacations was unfortunately very unprofessional, specifically the manager Bruno and his son Lucca- they used racial slurs and hung up on me.

The dryer does not work call the first day we were here to complain with no response. No one answers the phone no one calls back. After hours number, no one anwers no response. So it started off with there being a Mickey mouse and a little Nemo room but it turned out when we got to the unit it looked nothing like what the pictures were on booking.com first problem second problem they were stickers all over the house telling people what they should do well one of the stickers right above the thermostat says leave thermostat at 74° or else issues may arise with the air system that kind of made me wonder what issues so I said okay that's fine I walked around the house some of the rooms were 90 degrees some of them said no air flow or air conditioning at all they're a theater room that was supposed to be such a great game room theater room on the on the ad had no air it was pretty hot the kids try to go out there and play for a while but couldn't play too long cuz they were out there sweating so bad it was so funny so that's an issue where they wouldn't let you turn the air lower than 74 or 72°, which is a bunch of a bull when the heat index is 110 outside and you're looking at like temperatures in the house upward of 85 to 90°. That's ridiculous number two there were so much damage stuff in the house to refrigerator was absolutely wrecked two of the rooms that they said they had and Mickey mouse room and a little Nemo room wasn't that it was like it was something absolutely different it was Avatar and Star wars which I thought would be okay for the baby but my 3-year-old kid was scared of that Avatar so that didn't help none especially since she really wanted to have her Mickey mouse room this was a trip to Disney world so why that would have been a deal breaker if I would have known that they didn't have them Mickey mouse room another thing that they just you know slid on that's that's just feels so wrong that they would actually put the wrong rooms on their booking.com ad like why wouldn't you give accurate pictures on what the actual unit looks like when I asked Wonder vacation homes about that they said oh yeah we had a complication where we had to remodel some things what you would think they would show these things in their ads like it is upgrade right I mean like when a person think that that would be an upgrade if you remodeled I don't know I feel differently about it because they changed the whole like flow of the rooms I don't know I'm not real happy with them I will never use them again and to be honest if I was you I would not use that company either

Do not book with this company. They are scamps.
They charged us for cleaning a grill we have never used. This while we already paid €189 for cleaning the house. We did not order a grill but this one was in the garden. They deducted $70 from our deposit.
We also did not receive the code of entering the house until 6 hours before arriving while they said we should receive it 2 days in advance. This caused a lot of stress because we did not had internet during the day. Entering the house the back door was not locked and we were missing a remote control for the fan outside. Later we found this onder a chair near the pool. This is how they clean the house. Communication is not there strongest point. They did not believe us and for them we are the thieves and not the cleaning company. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

I must say that Expedia did a lot to communicate with them and they even gave us the refund back (€ 100 for all the inconvenience). So I give Expedia 5 stars. They did a great job.

Property was advertised as hazing a jacuzzi but there wasnt one. Wifi never worked for 3 weeks meaning tvs also did not work as they were internet tvs, the tvs said to contact the internet provider. despite multiple emails whilst sitting outside grocery stores to get wifi they never fixed it. Properties are supposed to be professionally cleaned but on the fist night found the bed full of hairs, also on the pillows and towels meaning we had to wash them all. Black mould and hairs in the shower. Food crumbs all over the couch. Back patio full of weeds. Really bad water stains on the downstairs ceiling, a full third was brown. Kick board under the kitchen units hanging off. Broken chair stuffed into the utility room. First night found plates and dishes badly soiled with food so had to wash them. Ironing board will only stand up because it is sellotaped together. Aircon only allowed to cool to a min of 72 or heat to a max of 74!! no matter how hot or cold you are.

Wir haben für 8 Personen das Ferienhaus vom 23.03. bis 08.04. gemietet. Es war der größte Reinfall je als. Das Haus war total verdreckt ausgestattet mit 3 Stühlen und Besteck für4 Personen. Die Bettwäsche, Handtücher dreckig auch mit Fäkalresten.Der Pool durfte nicht benutzt werden da die Absaugöffnungen keine Abdeckungen hatten. Auch war er wohl seit einem Jahr nicht gereinigt worden. Vorsicht vor dem Personal die arbeiten mit den Fotos aus dem Internet um zu widerlegen das es dreckig war. Achtung wer nicht krank werden will sollte nicht bei wondervacation buchen

This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever experienced on a vacation, number one, none of the amenities that they have listed is available, number two as soon as we got into the room, the air hockey table that they have in there pictures don't work and when we called to complain they said the ordered one (which came on the day of checkout), the resort they have listed here is total garbage, the resort card they have doesn't even work they took the card from us and never brought it back, (ENDLESS Cockroaches), we booked a family trip with kids and mainly booked it for the amenities, but this place cost us our whole vacation to Florida and left a real bad taste, we used to come every year but because of this now, that's it , this was total garbage, when I asked the guy at the resort when the bar will be open, his answer to me was "next year", like come on what more can go wrong, plus we paid for everything and had access to nothing, (BEWARE) when we asked for compensation they gave us a free heated pool, like come on man , we paid $1500+ for the room and on the last day they couldn't even give us a later checkout, they charged us for the full day. Good luck robbing someone else you thieves!!!
