Avoid this company to work for i have never worked for such a terrible company

6 weeks I witnessed the manager selling her home Bakes.

Till system very old and out dated.

I had a forklift licence but wasn't allowed to operate there.

But I'm driving forklifts at a new company who accepted the licence atleast I dont have to drag boilers down steps from the mezz andbcarry heavy items down the steps.

Very clicky enviornment customers sound.

Nanager knows her parts very well but has no patience when it comes to training.

Another staff member screaming / shouting / talking loudly whilst im trying to advise a customer on a telephone sale this task is impossible.

No communication between manager and supervisor.

This is easily the worst thing I’ve ever used to control my heating. I have two boilers in my house, so I bought two of these thermostats, the make is “center” and both of them have the exact same hardware defect.
The AAA battery compartment is useless. The batteries don’t make a solid connection with the metal terminals, so the moment you touch the unit or pick it up to adjust the temperature, it loses power and switches off. Every single time it resets, you are forced to re-enter the day, month, year, and time. I have to do this 4 or 5 times in a row just to get it to stay on long enough to change a setting.
It's completely unfit for purpose and a total waste of money."

Ordered a boiler online... 2 days later get told its discontinued and my order has been cancelled and advised which boiler to order instead.

Paid £2800 for the first boiler - after a week, still no refund, even though by this point i had forked out a further £2800 for their recommended replacement. Constantly chasing for the refund and getting no reply.... email the CEO, suddenly get a reply to say there had been an error and the refund hadnt been processed, but would be with me in 2 days now. offered 10% off another purchase as compensation - not much good that is it - hardly likely to need ANOTHER boiler!!!

They didnt say 2 business days, but i have given them the benefit of doubt - its now been 2.5 business days - and guess what - still no refund.

Part was in stock at the Huyton Branch. Manager and staff Extremely helpful and Efficient. Highly recommend.

I ordered an unvented cylinder online over the Christmas period and was given a collection date of 6 January. Based on this, I began work at my customer’s property and removed the existing boiler and unvented cylinder.
When I contacted the Isleworth branch on the 5th to confirm what time the cylinder would arrive, they were unable to locate my order and said they would call me back. An hour later, I was informed that the order for the unvented cylinder had never actually been placed, and that I wouldn’t receive it until 22 January.
This put me in an impossible position. I had already started the job and could not leave my customer without hot water for over two weeks. I was forced to source the exact same cylinder from a local plumbers’ merchant, who thankfully delivered it on the 6th—but at a higher cost to me.
I raised a formal complaint about this issue but have received no response. Prior to this, I was frequently contacted and encouraged to use Wolseley more, but after this experience I will not be using them again. The risk to my business is simply too high.

Sitting outside wolseley on montgomery road in east Belfast since 1.15 pm waiting on them opening for lunch at 1.30. it is now 1.45 pm and they aren't open yet.

Ordered a part,and paid..... 1 week for pick up at required location, only to get an email to say it will only be available the next week ( 2 weeks)...Then went to pick up said item only to be told that its not arrived and it will be another week as its not actually been ordered....not a happy customer

WOLSELEY Hereford… I ordered late Friday & it was on the counter at 8am on Saturday. Very friendly staff and good prices.

I have personally always found Wolseley helpful but on my latest visit in December 25 they excelled, at least Tom did. I was trying to repair a toilet which has a concealed cistern. All the replacement syphons I looked at would not fit the existing pipework despite the fact that it is only standard 42mm push fit. The new syphons were all a fraction of a milllimetre too small. Tom spent ages with me and dug out all manner of syphons and pipe fittings and eventually we found a suitable combination and my toilet is now working again. I cannot thank Tom, and Wolseley, enough for the help they gave me. They will always be my first stop for plumbing.

I just wanted to give postitive feedback for Ash and the team at your Yate store. They solved my spare part requirements, and were always helpful and polite. It ended up being a bit of a mission mainly due to Purmos warehouse and lack of avasilability as the product was discontinued - Your team didn't give up. Happy customer.

Inexperienced manager Samantha at staples corner! No idea what she’s doing. Avoid!!!!

Was sent the wrong boiler and with missing parts. By the time the plumber had installed the boiler and had driven an hour to the depot to get the parts that should have been delivered, we realised the boiler was in a different colour and could not be returned.
After chasing for a month no compensation offered only a generous 10% future discount which I have no intention of taking up....

Disabled lady with a centre portable thermostat needed support and help by telephone yesterday .I live alone ..I phoned Malton branch and got a man that said we only sell the boxes I don't know how they work ! We just sell them as a retailer you will have to contact an engineer ! Shame on the young man that took my call at Malton branch he couldn't have cared less ! .....all I will say is the York branch are a breathe of fresh air in comparison , helpful , understanding ,gave me his time to explain how the device worked to a lady with ME, Dysautonomia and Fibromyalgia!

Ordered a radiator online in the afternoon and received before 10am the next day. Very pleased.

Food was over salty.

Called tansley branch for price and availability on a couple of parts. Operative said she would find out and call me back. Chased twice over next 2 days only to be told "she'll call you back". Gave up and found a more professional company.

Fantastic service by Tom. I needed to replace an old TRV and got nowhere with other suppliers. Not only did they come with the solution (conversion head) but they also got me the part for the next day.

Called their Customer Services line and received the standard " Please wait for the nest available agent".
I waited for at least ten minutes until the call was cut off.
I tried to raise a complaint through online chat and reached the point where the following message was created "We are transferring you to one of our digital support agents who will be able to help."
This created a message "Waiting for an agent to join".
After a long delay was connected to an agent who responded to my question about why contact was so poor advised that "We are busy this morning".
I will not add to their workload and will take my business elsewhere

I read a few reviews about Wolseley and thought, shall I go somewhere else. But I went to the Moreton Branch this week and I can honestly say it was a pleasant surprise. From walking in the door, being offered a free coffee whilst I waited to leaving as a very satisfied customer. Staff friendly and very helpful whilst clearly busy. Music in the background and even, I'm sure, a bird singing in the back office! I'll be back as someone famous once said
