Wickes - Tunstall Arvostelua 

Tunstall wickes for new kitchen (plus needed lots of rebuild works ) and Lynton Lomas the design consultant was the best ! Helpful supportive and nothing too much trouble (and we changed our minds a couple of times!) always quick to respond to our queries and he organised the best of the fitters Dave Holland to come complete our kitchen and works. We are so pleased and they all worked well to meet our needs highly recommend ask for Lynton

The kitchen itself is lovely, and the fitter did an excellent job. I couldn’t fault his work. Unfortunately, my experience with Mark Sheward, the salesman at the Stoke Tunstall branch, was the complete opposite.

Mark’s sales pitch was all about how he would "stand by me" throughout the process, even after the sale was completed. This could not have been further from the truth. Once he had my money, he was nowhere to be seen. I faced issue after issue, from delayed deliveries to missing items, but Mark Sheward showed zero interest in helping resolve these problems. Instead, I was left to deal with the stress on my own.

His lack of follow-through and unprofessional attitude made what should have been an exciting project into a frustrating ordeal. Mark Shewards promises were clearly just a ploy to close the sale. I value good customer service and was drawn to Wickes under the impression that I would receive it. However, this experience has left me deeply disappointed.

If you're considering Wickes Kitchens, I’d suggest being cautious about who you deal with in the sales department. The fitting process was smooth and the end result fantastic, but Mark Sheward’s conduct soured the experience. His sales tactics were not only misleading but also completely untrustworthy. I hope Wickes takes note and ensures that their sales team lives up to the quality of their products and fitters.

THIS WAS ORDERED INSTORE. THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE REFERS TO ONLINE Order placed 3-11. Advised lead time was 6 weeks. Received no update so thought best to reach out a check for any movement. Was informed on 22-11 delivery would be on 29-11. Not ideal as I'd no prior notice of this to enable me and my partner to both get the time off work, this included, organising an electrician and a plumber to disconnect the gas and electric move and dispose of old Rangemaster to make way for the new one rebooking an MOT we had booked for that day but I brushed over it and we sorted it out. I then contacted Wickes the day before delivery to see if I could gain an ETA to make sure we were prepared to accept the delivery which is a huge and very heavy Rangemaster. I spoke to Billy who advised the advised Jake that I'd spoken with the week prior had not chased Rangemaster for an accurate delivery date but had infact pulled a delivery date out of God knows where! As you can imagine given the reorganisation of both our busy schedules this was very annoying. Further to this I was told there is a delay in manufacturing and the cooker won't be available until at least the end of January...wow. Is this really what you think is acceptable service? No explanation as to why I'd not been made aware of the delay or why I'd not been informed I would not be receiving a delivery on the 29th? Utter shambles of an order. Billy transferred my chat to Cara who promised a manager would call me to discuss this the following day. Its now five days on and no call from a manger. Disgusting service leaving me without an oven for at least two months and no oven for Christmas. What are you going to do to make this right?

Edit - still no contact 6/12. Utter joke. Responded on here with a request for the exact same information already provided when the initial review was made. YOU HAVE MY ORDER NUMBER. CALL ME!!!! YOU ARE DOING NOTHING TO FIX THE MESS YOU CREATED.

Lynton made sure he understood what we wanted to achieve for our full bathroom refit to convert it to a wetroom. This included clear information regarding all the surrounding processes, i.e. Wickes' contractural, financial, etc processes, lead times, selection of Installers, etc giving us confidence in using Wickes. Lynton then continued providing support throughout the project, contributing to its success. Thank you Lynton.

We visited the Wickes at Tunstall and Kaz looked after us very well!
She is full of kitchen knowledge, she knew absolutely everything we needed to know.
She was such a good laugh at the same time and we all enjoyed ourself strangely!
She had a good eye for colours and matching as we didn’t really have much clue when we walked in there, came out satisfied and excited for our home visit! 😁 Thank You Kaz you were great!
