Wickes - Leicester Thurmaston Arvostelua 

We contacted Wickes for a quote for a new kitchen. Adam visited our house to measure up and discuss the plans. We immediately had a good feeling with Adam. He understood exactly what we wanted. He wasn't pushy, understood we had a budget to work with and he turned our ideas into a proper plan.
Again when visiting Wickes to finalise plans and select worktops, appliances ,add-ons etc it was very relaxed and it always felt like he had our best interests in mind. Thanks again. We can't wait for our new kitchen to become a reality.

Just ordered our new kitchen, having decided on Wickes after Adam Wells visited house for preliminary measure up and followed with interview in store to finalise choices. A very professional, well informed man, personable and very helpful with no rush to make final choices on doors etc. if the rest of our kitchen fitting goes as smoothly we shall be very pleased.

Our design specialist Adam Wells was great from the start. He came to our house and was very pleasant, helpful and informative. This continued with our in store visit, giving helpful feedback and alternatives to our bathroom design. He made us both feel welcome and heard throughout, but never pushed us to make a decision we weren’t comfortable with. Adam is a credit to the company for sure.

Visited the Wickes Thurmaston store today to start looking at Kitchens, as I am looking to buy a new kitchen. I must say the team within the Kitchen department were very helpful. They gave me all the information I needed and more.

Really Pleasant experience shopping when visiting wickes thurmaston. The staff are friendly and always willing to help and give their advice for any questions asked.

we had a design appointment booked in with Adam who was amazing. we wanted a new kitchen but didn't know about layout or costs as it was our first time ever doing something new in the kitchen. we had a home measure which we talked about these things. the designs were sent over within a good time frame of 2-3 days and they were exactly what we wanted! it was all our ideas brought together. we then booked an instore appointment in which we just chose the appliances and worktop and went through costs and finance. Adams knowledge really reassured us and we bought our dream kitchen which will be very practical. The process was really quick and very stress free which I was not expecting but I'm glad I chose to go through with it. We have already set our delivery date and are excited to see it all done!

Shocking customer service from their kitchen team.

Went into the Thurmaston branch around 2 months ago, not a single member of staff willing to speak to us, just kept saying if you want help book an appointment.

Guess what I tried to book an appointment just for the woman on the phone who just constantly tried to fob me off. She did not want to give us an appointment I was left on hold for 5 minutes whilst she went off to check my options she came back and was adamant we didn’t need an appointment and just said come into store with your measurements. After the first time we went into store and told nothing can be done without an appointment I wasn’t impressed with what she was saying so asked outright why is there a problem in giving an appointment!? More waffle and non answers I got fed up and called another branch. Spoke to a great guy at the South Wigston branch that had excellent customer service and gave us an appointment straight away.

Avoid the Thurmaston branch they don’t give a crap about customer service.

My new bath room was installed by Wickes. Installer said it would take 10 days but it took 95 days. We had lots of problems and when we tried to contact Wickes customer service, they never answered the phone calls or replied the emails. It was a very bad experience. We were very frustrated and upset.
When the completion was done, they offered compensation. They said we would receive compensation in 14 days. It's more than 3 months and we have not received a penny.we called many times and sent many emails but Wickes customer service just didn't care. You keep struggling but Wickes customer service won't help you and they don't care.

Ordered a new bathroom to be fitted. Everything was as to be expected, though the designer under quoted the fitting by over double. Work started on may 28th, took about a week and contractors were very professional and seemed to be experienced. However the tap for the sink didn't arrive with all the other materials, contacted wickes and was told that it would be dispatched by the manufacturer on the 28th of June. 12th July we sent an email asking what's going on and on the 16th receive an automated reply stating that our order was on the way. 17th June it arrived and the next day the guy came round to fit it. (He was great through all this).

So for 51 days we ( a Family of 4 including 2 young children) had no sink to wash in or brush teeth etc, for 8 weeks. We received no communications from Wickes about this issue, no apologies, no recompense. Despite 3 emails asking for updates.

We were hoping to redo our kitchen with them due to the good impression left by the contractors who did the installation, however will have a good look around in the future. After all the money spent this just doesn't seem good enough to just bungle the job over line at the end.

Normally Wickes products are very good ,but have just bought a Wickes water butt I can say this is the worst product ever, the lid does not fit or lock down the base is next to useless it does not lock together I had to rivet them I will make my own base out of wood, finally the instructions were useless had to go on utube. Avoid this product.
