Wickes - Hemel Hempstead Arvostelua

We were very impressed with Deepa’s knowledge and understanding of our needs and preferences, when planning our bathroom.
Deepa has a friendly and professional work ethic.
We appreciated her expertise when helping us decide what would be the best room for us.
Deepa regularly checked in with us, even after ordering our bathroom, to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our purchases.

I use Wickes Hemel Hempstead Apsley Branch
Use them continuously for DIY products on numerous occasions I go in and speak to Ian. He is always so helpful. Has a good knowledge of products and points me in the right direction. The service he gives is on and above anywhere else.

Would like to thanks Deepa from the design team for putting out utility room together perfectly put together and over the moon with the results

Thanks again

Every time I visit, I have a fantastic experience. The team is consistently helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes me feel at ease. Among them, Alfie and Oliver stand out as incredible helpers. They always go out of their way to assist me, whether it’s answering my questions, providing detailed explanations, or offering solutions to any issues I encounter. Their dedication and willingness to help are truly commendable, and I can’t thank them enough for their exceptional service. Their efforts make each visit even more enjoyable and memorable. well done guys!!

Quality products and great customer service provided by Oliver. He even helped me carrying stuff to my car as I have tennis elbow at the moment.

We popped in purely on the off chance after being quoted a lot for tiles somewhere else. Saw exactly what we wanted for half the price. Kevin who helped us was great, really knowledgeable, polite, friendly and a credit to the wicks team. 2 very happy customers.

Sadly I did not enjoy my experience, very frustrating as I had high hopes and the process of designing and having a new bathroom should be fun and exciting. This was not the experience I hoped for. The designer was very friendly, but I wish there was a little more communication before hand. Most of what we went through I could have done at home prior to the appointment so we could get designs done. Lots of my questions were unanswered and they didn't have the products I was really keen on. I will try somewhere else for my bathroom. This isn't their strength.

I ordered multiple bags of quick set cement, gravel and a sheet of plywood. I paid £35 delivery for a SIX hour time slot. Instead of plywood I got MDF (which had been on the back of an open back delivery lorry and was drenched). Totally useless for my job. All bags of cement which were on the bottom of the delivery pallet were split and leaked all over my drive. It was raining so I had to spend half an hour clearing the leaked cement away before it set. I spoke to a very abrupt and frankly rude member of staff later in the day. No apology at all and a definite sense of boredom with my complaint and lack of belief in what I was saying. I insisted on the return of my delivery charge. Paying £35 for a six hour time slot was appalling anyway. I would have swapped my damaged/wrong goods but was not able to spare the time waiting in another massive time slot. An appalling experience overall. Out of pocket and had to clear up in the pouring rain. Would give zero stars if possible.

Really helpful staff, particularly Ian (E) at the Apsley branch, as I was finding tester pots

We visited Wickes' store in Hemel Hempstead after Christmas to see about a new kitchen. Deepa was very helpful and has been very efficient in coming out to see us and turning round a new kitchen design in a matter of hours. Also got very clear and honest advice. Order now placed, very happy.

Went to Hemel branch to look for new bathroom suite. Deepa introduced herself as a designer and was amazing. Really helpful and friendly. Made everything easy and whole process was smooth.

Really slick and easy. Good advice and great service.

Great service from Deepa, pleasure to deal with.

Kayleigh oliver and Fionn helped me sign up for the trade pro discount I had issues working the app and got sorted out efficiently very pleased.

We visited Wickes Hemel to start the process of designing our new kitchen, quite an overwhelming experience I've since found out! However Deepa made the whole experience so much easier! She came to our home to discuss what we wanted and then spent time with us back in store discussing and planning the kitchen we have now ordered. Some of our plans were quite bespoke which she helped us with and was honest and helpful in her response. I would highly recommend her services and Wickes Hemel in general as every member of staff has been helpful.
Great experience

Oliver from wickes was precise and helpful that helped us to choose the right products

My experience in Wicks was excellent. Gentleman who served me name Oliver made sure I got all the products and was very helpful and friendly. Guided us to get what we require. Lovely gentlemen 😊

Oliver was very helpful from wickes, that enabled us to get the right products for the job.

We came to look for our first kitchen and we spoke with Deepah, she was a great help looking for what we wanted, giving us suitable and appropriate options and being extremely helpful with all our needs!
