Not very happy with maria i went there for a bathroom design in crawley, she 1st asked me my budget i said a low one just so they dont start selling me things ii didn’t need, immediately she said our bathrooms are 10k and its not worth designing because its wasting her time. She didn’t even take measurements of my bathroom to see what size it was then trying to imply i couldn’t afford it which if i wanted to i could have, in away she done me a favour i went to b and q and they designed me a really nice bathroom which i am going a head with, good sales person would of designed me the bathroom then done there best to sell it to me

10 out of 10 service from start to finish, Richard from the Crawley branch helped us design our perfect bathroom, by 1st coming to ours and measuring up and then completing the design in store. When it came to the installation, we had John and Tom Caiger who were brilliant, very skilled professionals who went above and beyond for the week and a half they were here. There were a few issues along the way, none of which was anything Wickes could help (incorrect / damaged items sent by 3rd party suppliers), but Kenny from customer services was on hand to rectify straight away.
The bathroom is now fully installed, we honestly couldn't be happier and would recommend Wickes to anyone and everyone. Great service all round.

I wanted to take a moment to leave some truly outstanding feedback for Jon, who works in the warehouse at your Crawley store.

Today I visited the store feeling extremely stressed and very limited on time, and honestly Jon completely turned my whole experience around. From the moment he offered to help, nothing was too much trouble for him. He went absolutely above and beyond with his customer service and support.

I needed advice regarding products for putting up cat spikes and Jon took the time to properly explain everything to me — from the best products to use, to the best way to install them. He was knowledgeable, patient, approachable and genuinely cared about helping me find the right solution rather than just rushing me through.

What stood out most was how friendly and willing to help he was. In today’s world, it is rare to come across customer service like that anymore. He made me feel listened to, valued and supported during what had been quite a stressful day for me.

Jon is an absolute credit to your Crawley store and to Wickes as a company. Employees like him are the reason customers return and recommend stores to others. Please make sure this feedback reaches both Jon and his management team because he truly deserves recognition for the exceptional service he provided today.

From start to finish, my experience with Wickes Bathrooms was nothing short of outstanding. I would confidently give them a full 5 stars.

The design process with Richard Sheriden was the perfect blend of professional guidance and personal choice. He really listened to what I wanted, offering thoughtful suggestions without ever being pushy. He helped me make the most of the space, introducing ideas I hadn’t even considered while still keeping everything within my budget. The 3D plans were especially helpful in visualising the final result, and any tweaks I requested were handled quickly and without fuss.

When it came to installation Maciej Sozanski’s team was just as impressive. Everything was well organised and clearly communicated, so I always knew what to expect and when. The installation team were punctual, respectful, and extremely tidy — they treated my home with care and made sure disruption was kept to a minimum.

The workmanship itself was excellent. Every detail, from tiling to fittings, was completed to a very high standard. You can really tell they take pride in their work. Any small questions or adjustments along the way were dealt with promptly and professionally, which gave me great peace of mind.

The end result exceeded my expectations. My new bathroom looks fantastic and feels like a completely transformed space — stylish, practical, and finished to perfection.

We recently purchased our kitchen and had the pleasure of working with John Gillam in the Crawley branch. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, John was professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. He came out to measure our kitchen and really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and within our budget. Nothing ever felt rushed, he listened carefully to all our ideas and worked with us step by step to bring everything together perfectly.

Richard, the designer from Crawley store so helpful and professional from beginning to end. Everything flows much better and has made the small kitchen feel larger. Any hiccups were soon sorted, a product exchanged or refunded hassle free. Always responded promptly.
Our installer Deno did a sterling job, talked us through step by step so we knew what was happening day by day. He dealt with the electrician Adam who put in new cables for the integrated appliances, ceiling spotlights and under cupboard strip lights. The plumber, sealed off the old cooker gas supply and re routed pipe work moved the mains water supply cut off to a more accessible place. All in all we are extremely pleased with our new kitchen.
Wickes were very good with e mails re deliveries and a phone call on the day from the driver re time of arrival.

Aftercare post kitchen installation is shocking! Kitchen installed in October & problems I didn’t expect from Wickes quality.
Sink discoloured. Tap doesn’t stop dripping. Cupboards dropped. Dishwasher door sounds awful every time I open / close it. Cupboards mark easily & can’t get marks off the matt finish (no handles so they are meant to be touched).
Wickes response - terrible! Been weeks & no one has visited to inspect. No help given. Still waiting for Wickes to do something. Very help to sell a kitchen not so happy to fix issues.

Ordered 2 fence to be delivered at my home in Crawley, great work by their courier guys excellent customer service.
Delivery price is cheapest ,one can find & delivered within time frame.

This is the second half of our experience as we felt it was only fair to give both accounts as they were different from each other. So the installation phase of our bathroom project was a very different chapter in our Wickes experience. Our initial contact with our installer, Nick, was positive. He offered ideas, solutions and was knowledgeable. The removal of our existing bathroom was quick, tidy and efficient and we were genuinely impressed with the team at that stage.

However, once the new bathroom was close to completion, problems began to surface. The attention to detail and overall finish were extremely poor and we were disappointed not only with the standard of workmanship and the expectation for us to 'fix' and 'finish' things but also with Nick’s attitude and dishonesty regarding several issues. Matters escalated further when he threatened court action for non‑payment of his last invoice, despite Wickes having clearly told us that we were not required to pay until we were satisfied with the work.

Nick’s manager inspected the bathroom and agreed that the standard was sub‑par, which confirmed our concerns. We could sense the frustration of Jamie, our account manager, and we shared that frustration, particularly around the poor communication between Wickes staff and the installers. We were not prepared to have Nick return to rectify the issues, especially for major corrections such as re‑laying the floor tiles.

What should have been a two‑week project starting at the end of June dragged on until mid‑September, creating significant upheaval. Living in a one‑bedroom flat made the disruption even harder. We requested compensation and were offered a very small financial gesture, which we felt did not reflect the scale of the inconvenience, the extended timeline or the stress involved.

On a positive note, Daniel, who was brought in to resolve the issues and complete the bathroom to the standard originally promised, was excellent. His workmanship, professionalism and attention to detail were exactly what we had hoped for from the start. We thoroughly rate both him and the quality of his work.

We initially expected to give a four or five‑star review based on how the installation began. However, after everything we experienced, we don’t feel able to justify more than the rating we’ve given.

We wanted to share this feedback because the installation phase caused us a great deal of stress and frustration. At the time, the situation felt overwhelming and we needed some distance before we could reflect on it clearly. Now that everything has finally been resolved, we feel able to give fair, balanced and honest feedback; recognising the positives, e.g. the design stage with John Gillam, while also being transparent about the difficulties we faced.

I don't usually write reviews but the excellent customer service we received from Mark needs to be recognised. He was very professional, courteous
helpful and informative throughout, This enabled us to get exactly what we required efficiently and under one roof.
Unfortunately the delivery guy who brought some of the laminate was certainly not courteous. He didn't even answer when I greeted him on his arrival. He certainly was not happy when I showed him where laminate needed to go, it was about 15 foot from his van to garage.He even went to say to me ' you could help by moving it yourself '

Richard was the perfect salesman. Ours was only a small purchase to match an existing kitchen, but that didn’t affect his professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble. We never felt rushed or unimportant, He greeted us with a welcome smile even when he saw us coming in for yet another tweak to the order!

We bought a new kitchen, had it designed and installed by Wickes. The design appointment was great, but after we paid the money, the experience went downhill. The installer took weeks to finish the last bits off and wasn't great at communication. Customer services were no help at all with this. The tiler employed was a bit scary to be honest, fitted awful trims which we had to ask to be changed and pay extra for ourselves. And to top it off, we have had the kitchen for one year and already the edging tape is chipping. When we reported this to customer service, they were dismissive, implying it was our fault and there was nothing they could do. We are just a family of 4 who use our kitchen to make meals 2-3 times a day - we are not doing anything inappropriate and would expect a new kitchen to look good for years! The trim really must be poor quality for this to happen. We were encouraged to have the kitchen installed by Wickes so that everything was under warranty. I am now scared to use the kitchen as I don't want to make it worse. It's all been really disappointing when having a new kitchen should really be a happy experience.

To say I’m happy with it would be a massive understatement. I’m absolutely delighted with the finished bathroom. It has exceeded all my hopes and expectations. I think it looks amazing!
The credit for this lies firmly with Terry and his guys. They made the process relatively stress-free and from day one I had total confidence in their skill and professionalism. Terry, in particular, is a super nice guy and easy to deal with and incredibly helpful. Of course there were a few hiccups along the way, but he handled them all calmly and cooly. It was a pleasure to have him and the others in my home. So, they have my sincerest thanks.
Equally, I’d like to thank you for your part. You also made it easy for me to translate what was in my head to a finished bathroom. You made some excellent suggestions, ( eg moving the sink ), which all helped improve my original concept. I’m also grateful for the quick responses to my emails and solutions to any open questions/issues I had. It’s always a pleasure dealing with somebody who actually knows what he’s talking about.
To be sure, if I’m ever in the market for another kitchen or bathroom, I’ll be heading straight back to you!

Maria was brilliant and so patient with me. I trusted her advice and she really knows her stuff. She showed me items for my new bathroom, never rushed my decision and I didn’t feel any pressure to buy. She made time for me and gave me options and advice which I really appreciated. Can’t wait to get the bathroom installed

We went to Wickes in Crawley and had the pleasure of being served by Maria Moore. What a lovely lady. She made us feel completely at home. She was very friendly but also very knowledgeable on all the products on offer. There was no hard sell and nothing was too much trouble for her. Maria is a real asset to the store and we look forward to continuing to deal with her as we progress our kitchen purchase.

We had an excellent experience with our Kitchen re-fit from Wickes at Crawley. Our design consultant Marchela Chamberlain was great, we walked in with a plan to remodel the kitchen and a vague idea of what we wanted in units/style. Marchela suggested things we hadn’t thought about, was very knowledgeable and came up with a beautiful design. As our kitchen required some building and plumbing work Marchela put us with Chris Smith of Charlwood Construction as our fitters. Joshua from customer experience team updated me on delivery dates, space needed to store everything and what to expect. The Wickes delivery team arrived with half a lorry load of kitchen and our new appliances, they worked hard to unload, were courteous and polite. Our brilliant fitters got our kitchen to bare walls, floors up, ceilings down, two ring mains in for cooker and hob, plumbing and drainage done for where we wanted a sink and dishwasher. They were hard working, tidy and had a great eye and attention to detail. Cabinets in, walls painted, ceiling up with spot lights, new floor laid. The kitchen looks fantastic. We had a couple of damaged facias which were reported to the customer service team, Jamie Benton quickly arranged replacements and kept me informed of delivery dates. I would recommend Wickes of Crawley and would definitely use them again for any future projects.
