Avoid my mistake and don’t order a bathroom from Wickes. Initial design process was quick and easy, with the designer only too happy to answer my calls and emails until we placed the order. We then had some queries regarding additional charges from the fitter and the designer was then no where to be seen. However since the bathroom was installed only 6 months ago we have come across an issue with the way the pipes have been installed and have a cracked shower tray now leaking through our ceiling. 6 weeks this issue has been raised and chased most days with customer service and conveniently the installation team don’t have a contact number (everything is done via email) I am still waiting for an update and a resolution. I have water dripping into my kitchen and pipework that needs to be redone due to blockages. Do not order from them, if you have any issues they will not be resolved even though I should still be under ‘warranty’.
As requested in my multiple emails can a manager within the warranties team call me asap, my reference number for my case is 8148332

Fantastic store and fabulous staff, have been shopping at Wickes for over 10 years using over 20 of their stores and I will always make the effort to drive to this one. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and always polite and engage in a good laugh while you are there, unlike other stores their stock is very up to date and if you see it’s available online then they will have it in store, Wickes in general can be slightly dearer than their competitors on some products however you can get all you need for your project under one roof, served by a smile and a helpful team, 5 stars is a pleasure to shop here. Will continue to make the extra drive to shop at Chorley!!

Helpful staff, didn’t have sufficient quantities of some materials but helped locate more from another branch and also made some really helpful recommendations that has saved us time digging a larger hole thanks to a new style post for fencing. Martin was really helpful.

I needed to call around many Wickes stores in North Wales and the North West to find tiles we needed for our bathroom. Every member of staff in this store was fantastic, really helpful and friendly. The actual store is really nice, big and open with everything well displayed and easy to access. We drove for over an hour to get here and would highly recommend visiting this store. It was the nearest store with the quantity we needed. We used the click and collect service. Even when we had to adjust our order, it wasn't a problem and was handled with a smile. Thank you to everyone who helped us today.
