Already knew they were scammers but I saw someone post in April about the exact experience I had today which confirms my suspicions entirely.
This is a fraudulent service, and they are not in fact giving you any information on the person behind any phone number.
Paid my 50p, had the number come back with the last digit missing for some reason when I know I typed the full one in - and got a random name. Did the search a second time and got a completely different name with full number. Did it a third time - again different name and at this point I thought, I’m going to do my own number. It will not surprise you that it was another name - they are all suspiciously fake also, odd combinations and as soon as I googled found no one called this. It also said my own number was high threat level which made me laugh, and
So not only are they hiding a subscription behind very illegally worded ‘one time purchase’ 50p text they are also just absolutely not providing the service they promise. Avoid the scammers!

my daughter used them to search up a mobile number that kept spamming her. She paid 50p for the initial search, and three months later they have taken £48.90 from her account without her permission. She has not signed up for any subscription and is underage. AVOID!!!

I contacted this company having paid a small fee to use a one off number look up. It didn’t say anywhere about an annual subscription and I was then charged £48.90. They told me that I had subscribed and I can’t understand how that’s the case, and even if it was, it’s somewhere hidden in tiny print on t&c which is immoral. You should make it hugely obvious that someone is going to be charged. I can’t afford to loose that sort of money. Luckily my bank has given me the money back while they dispute with this company

Absolute scam. Makes it appear that you're only paying £0.50p then after 24 hours charge you £50 for an 'annual subscription'. When I emailed immediately after the payment was taken they refused to refund me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

we are all a threat, apparently
It would seem that they deliberately assess most numbers as a threat to entice you to subscribe. I did my own number to test before subscribing and im apparently a 90% threat, so I then went on to test our local secondary school, my sister and the local garden centre, all were a threat from 40% to 90%, to what im not sure, to YOU maybe, so whatever you do don’t be phoning my local garden centre, those petunias are very a well-known terrorist weapon of mass destruction.
Edit: note, thanks for the response, yet no mention of my issue raised, so how do you justify assessing my local garden centre as a threat, unfortunately it means one can not take these assessments seriously.

Specious of fraudulent website
Is not about the cost, only 50 pence per search. But I have serious doubt if is a sincere service.
The first time I did run the search the system did cut out part of the number. But apparently I still, suspiciously, did get a match even if missing the last 3 digits 🤔
On the second time I did run the search. it did give a different match, what looks to be a random made-up name. As I later discover the number is the official land line of a major car dealership.
I hope that was just an unfortunate mistake and non a intentional fraudulent website.
But I can't say I'm satisfy me.
