I ordered a couple of bags of starter crumb and mini pellets. I ended up running out quicker than I thought so messaged to explain the urgency and received my order two days later. Great customer service and prompt delivery.

Started our quail journey this year and purchased a selection of eggs from WestYorkshireQuail. These have been so unproblematic, such a joy to look after. They are beautiful and healthy birds, with a good hatch rate. Ours have already started laying, so we have ordered some more eggs from Marie to incubate together with those.
On both occasions, all eggs arrived in perfect condition.
Her communication is fast and friendly, the information provided allows for a stress free experience.
I am very excited to see how these little beauties look!
The only problem is that my partner is having to get very DIY every weekend..they currently live in a quail mansion 😂

I had a little bit of a wait though this was clearly communicated on the site before ordering. When I had a query about the order I got a nice response quickly. The eggs arrived well packaged although there were signs they'd had a rough trip in the mail (outside of the vendor's control once it's in the hands of royal mail). The birds that hatched are thriving black coturnix quail with a noticeably calmer and friendlier temperament than birds I hatched from eggs I'd ordered from another site despite raising them at the same time together.

They provided very clear and detailed instructions via email with the order and also in box with the eggs. They are responsive to questions and I love seeing updates on their Facebook page. It's what I would expect from someone who cares about quality, their animals and the chicks their eggs produce.

I liked them so much I've already ordered more this time I'm going for jumbo quail so I can have some of the bigger eggs too as well as these cuties running around.

I just need to figure out how to explain to the husband why he needs to build a second enclosure so soon.

I have ordered from West Yorkshire Quails multiple times over the years and always had a good hatch rate, my most recent hatch was from her new progressive pied line these guys are very calm thats what I love about their birds.
Marie goes above and beyond to help you, she sends out Information with her orders to make life a little easier. She has recently been helping me out with some genetic queries I had with a colour im working on at the moment.
If you are looking for a good hatch rate and support too then I definitely recommend west yorkshire quails.

So, I ordered 18 black courturnix quail eggs and 12 super jumbo quail eggs on 19th June, costing me £103.97.
On the 10th of August I sent an email to the owner asking for an estimate as to when my eggs would be arriving. I was told they were coming out that week. They didn't arrive.
On September 1st I sent a second email asking for a revised time of arrival. This time I was told they would be sent next week and she would throw in some extra eggs by way of an apology.
They didn't arrive.... again.

48 eggs finally arrived along with a cheap looking keyring on 21st September. They weren't the ones id asked for but i agreed to take progressive pied instead of black, as i thought something was better than nothing at this point. 3 were cracked in transit, but this was because those 3 eggs were particularly large and not suitably packed ie. They were put into regular sized quail boxes which were not large enough to accommodate the eggs without damaging them.
Fast forward 21 days, having set the eggs after resting for 18 hours. I've got 11 chicks. 7 didn't make it to hatch ( not the fault of the owner obviously), however most ofthe rest weren't even fertile.
30 infertile eggs out of 48!

Seriously poor quality, poor customer service. Avoid this company and don't waste your money!

Really happy with my two Bobwhite quails! Both are healthy, in great condition and clearly well cared for. 100% recommend and would definitely buy from again 😊

Ordered some Bobwhite snowflakes from westyorkshirequail.com. They came promptly, well packaged. Out of the 9 I had 6 which were fertile, I thought was amazing and 4 hatched. I have since been in contact with them to help me sex the birds. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely use again when the time comes to get some more. Love my snowflakes.

Ordered a dozen eggs which were packed brilliantly. When they arrived I had been sent a couple of extras which meant when I incubated them I still got 12/ 15 hatching which I was really pleased with!

West Yorkshire quails has been excellent! I’ve bough many hatching eggs from here, always packaged really well. Sometimes even extra eggs ! I’ve also bough a large amount of eggs to and I’ve always been really happy with the service. I have also asked a lot of questions multiple times and they have always been answered well and I’ve never been felt bad for asking multiple questions. Would highly recommend to anyone to use west Yorkshire quails, I wouldn’t use anyone else ! I am sure to buy more from her!

Really happy with my experience! The hatching eggs were packaged really well and arrived in good condition. I also collected some live chickens, and they were healthy, active, and clearly well looked after.

Everything was straightforward from start to finish, and I’m really pleased with what I received. You can tell a lot of care goes into the birds and the eggs. I’d definitely buy from them again!

Very knowledgeable - my serama chicken eggs arrived quickly and in perfect condition!! Had an amazing hatch rate both times I ordered and 7 out of 8 chicks ended up being Hens! They’re beautiful and have the best temperaments ☺️

I have bought hatching eggs from West Yorkshire quails for years. Would totally recommend, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Always well packaged and presented well and always get extra eggs just incase of breakages. But most importantly to me is the health and temperament of her birds. They are fantastic birds, always strong chicks and so calm and easy to handle when reach adult hood. Which is very important to me having good temperaments.

Great quality eggs with easy to follow instructions. Repeat customer and always have great hatch rates. Recently drove a 4.5hr round trip for birds because I only want the best that I know have great blood lines. Wouldn’t go anywhere else
