Bish (RSA125) was extremely helpful and nice. Was very accommodating and quick with his work. Could not recommend anyone better.

My poor wife's Car broke down while doing the school run, she phoned greenflag as she was a member for help, she was told West Bourne motors would be attending, the so called mechanic turned up after 3 hours, he fitted a new battery that he said she needed for a Vauxhall Moka and charged her a whopping £269 and that was free Labour which was included in her breakdown policy, scamed I say !!!!!!

There should be a minus star system as this lot would lowest i could go.
I didnt have a choice i pay for a Green Flag breakdown cover on my car/s so when my old car would start on my drive i called Green flag who sent these out 21st Nov 2025 , they told me it was my car battery and charged me according for a new one, so i thought job done, then i started getting car not starting again, i called out GF and they charged up battery and it was ok for a bit then it continued failing so i raised as a complaint to both Mark at Westbourne and GF and GF upheld my complaint and made Westbourne replace my battery free of charge so on 8th April 2026 or there about George came out and replaced, so i thought ok job sorted , little did i expect to hav e battery start dying again!

So i complained again to GF this time they wouldn't help me and told me to contact Westbourne that in it's self a task if you can get them on the phone, several calls made with Mark trying to fob me off and say its my fault over not using the car, hang on im not 21 yrs old and have not had cars!! im older and wiser than that ! i said i want full refund but he said i could only have a discount i said NO WAY .
SO back to GF which came out and did a though test of car and again for the second time told me it was a faulty battery , i have GF report , so ive now had to be charged for second time over £100 for third battery on car within 9 months , NO THIS AINT RIGHT, ive been driving for many years now and Car batteries usually last between 4- 5yrs on average and this car has always been ok at starting.

They are not on the motor Ombudsman site so they wont help, and my bank now says it too long to request a card dispute so now im in contact with Trading Standards to see if they can help.

So this long saga continues, watch this space...

MY ADVICE, would be AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I will state clearly if i have any future breakdowns not to have WESTBOURNE MOTORS attending any of my vehicles EVER AGAIN.

Really pleased with the service from Westbourne Motors, especially Riley and Darren.

Riley arrived in his small van, The original plan was for my car to be towed home, but Riley explained that this wasn’t safe to do with his van and that I would need a tow truck if I wanted the car brought home.

He then offered to take me to a tyre shop instead. I explained that I hadn’t booked anywhere, so we both got on Google and looked for the nearest tyre shop. Riley found one only about 5 minutes away and called them for me,

He went above and beyond — he took my wheel off, took it to the tyre shop, waited for it once the new tyre had been fitted, returned and put the wheel back on my car. Thanks to his help, I was able to get safely back on the road.

I’d also like to say a big thank you to Darren for his courtesy calls throughout, keeping me updated and making sure everything was going well. It was reassuring to know that someone was checking in and making sure I was okay.

Both Riley and Darren provided excellent customer service and really went above and beyond to help. They are a credit to Westbourne Motors, and I really appreciate all their help. 👏

Very good experience with this company having been informed by RAC they couldnt get anyone out to me after waiting 6 hours for them.
James from Westbourne arrived within 1hr of being contacted by RAC - was friendly, reassuring and funny which took the edge off a bad night.
Whilst he couldnt resolve the issue on site, he towed my vehicle safely back to my home address and was friendly the entire way back. Gave some good advice too.

When I got handed over for recovery from the RAC to these guys I was concerned reading the reviews, however despite a bit of a wait ( not their fault) they couldn’t have been more wrong. The guy phoned me to say he was on his way. Turned up and was jovial, friendly and professional. Got me loaded up and underway swiftly and safely. Delivered home and lots of skill getting my car (stuck in park mode) onto my drive. Great service and really nice chap too. Appreciate some people have had bad experiences but I wondered how many people get collected well and then leave a good review?! Hence mine.

If this company did not have a contract with the police it would go bust
Nobody would use them
Staff are arrogant most of the depos have nobody to answer phone and make it as difficult as possible to releasw a vehicle
Avoid them at all costs

Wow, what a total shambles - they tell you to call another branch and goes through to the same queue and can never talk to anyone.
Don’t waste you time with these idiots!

I have never heard anyone speak to someone the way the persons from this company spoke to my wife. Rude, aggressive and when we tried to complain they hung up and then wouldn’t answer the phone. We then asked our insurance company to deal with them and they advised they are always incredibly rude, but they have a monopoly on the area. Good luck if you are stuck with them.

The young man that came to my aid was named Sean. He very polite, helpful and got me back on the road in a surprisingly quick time especially under difficult circumstances. It has been a very difficult week and this incident felt like the straw that broke the camels back but, Sean's compassion and kindness turned a awful day into an uplifting g one.
He made good judgement calls and my overall experience was 10 out of 10.
I would recommend Westbourne motors every time

Would have scored lower if i could.
Was used as a third party by the RAC.
Collection time was between 11.10 and 1.10 they finally turned up at 4pm,after alot of chase up calls.
Dont know the guys name as he didnt introduce himself,he was rude and totally ignored me. Even when i said to him that a car was trying to get out. Not my problem. He delivered the van to home address,left it just on the kerb side and told me to get my neighbours to help me push it on driveway. Then took pictures and left. I contacted RAC and recommended they never use them again. So I have a van blocking my drive way that i have sat 5hrs in the heat to get recovered. Now to work out how im going to get on the drive.

Had to call at 2pm multiple times just to be told it will come by 7pm and then called again at 7:30pm to be told it will come at 9-10pm only now to be told it will come at 11:30pm just waiting to be towed. No communication from them had to reach out constantly just to be updated.

My dad and I broke down on the motorway yesterday, it was incredibly stressful and could have been really fatal. My dad had just had a major shoulder operation was due his medication and is autistic so as you can imagine it was a stressful time for us. However the service we were met with was nothing short of amazing.

The first gentleman was called Bish and he was with us within the hour, was kind and efficient it was clear the tyre could not be replaced so he was quick to call on another guy called Callum came with a multi fit tyre. While we were waiting they let us sit in the car with the seatbelt on as my dad was starting to feel lightheaded and the whole time he stood at the side of the road and directed the traffic to keep us safe, Callum was also with us within the hour, he was quick to change over the tyre and followed us back home where he then swapped back over the tyre and was on his way.

They were fast, kind, efficient, genuine nice guys and made what could of been a really difficult day, super straight forward and stress free as possible.

Big up steve!! Great energy on the road, delivered the sad news well, service with a smile. Hope you enjoyed the flapjack. Our experience being towed was quite the opposite though (although that wasn't Steve, miss you Steve...... ).

Following a number of repairs by Westbourne Motors to a number of vehicles and a quality problem with the most recent work, I am delighted to report that Westbourne Motors have now corrected and put right the outstanding issues.

Thank you Westbourne Motors for stepping up and doing the right thing - we will be happy to use, and recommend, you for future repairs.

13 July 2016. Recovery operative, Simon, was on time to recover as per ETA and phoned me on arrival at breakdown site as vehicle unattended. He also provided ETA for delivery to a nominated garage and was on time. He was very careful with car unloading. Very friendly and with good communication skills.

Recovery agent never arrived. No communication from them, they dont amswer the phone when you are looking for updates. Absolutely appalling.

Don’t waste your time to wait for them they just not coming anyway

Westbourne had our vehicle in their storage from Thursday until Tuesday after a breakdown and this is unacceptable. I called the Assistance first and said I dont know why they use this Company, their breakdown service is utterly appalling. They will fob you off with all sorts of excuses and dont keep to their word, when they told us the vehicle would be moved to the garage who are waiting to look at it. I waited on the phone for one hour and forty minutes to get through and gave up. Ford Assist and Hendy gave up trying to get through. They dont answer their phones and are utterly useless. I would recommend staying well away from using this company.
